Our tour guide Roy was highly informative and took his time during the tour. His local knowledge added a lot of value to our trip and leaves me wanting to return to Shanghai as such a beautiful city.

We had most wonderful time with our guide Mason. He provided us with an exceptional tour as we managed through the freezing cold night. He made our trip very memorable, like going out of his way to show us things in Shanghai that were different than the typical tour. This tour was the highlight of our time and Shanghai and one that will have memories from for a long time. Thanks Mason for a fabulous night.

Incredible views and a Guide that goes above and beyond

Our tour was booked last minute and Sunny was very thoughtful in helping set up the tour for a time that worked best for us. Chris was our amazing guide. She was both knowledgeable and personable. As Americans traveling into Shanghai from a location hour away, we had some difficulty finding the right spot to meet Chris. But she was patient and came to us and even helped us book our return trip by public transportation. The river cruise offered jaw-dropping views of the city. Our guide identified both the new and old buildings and gave some wonderful history on the architecture of Shanghai. I ran out of words to describe the view from Shanghai Tower. I appreciated our guides patience as we took hundred of pictures of the city. She had extensive knowledge of the largest skyscrapers of the world. Chris brought us to the train station after the tour, helped us read the information on our tickets as we only speak/read English, and instructed us on where to go to catch our train. We would have been lost without her. She made the our business trip to Shanghai very special and I will never forget it. I hope to return as a tourist one day and take my friends in the same tour. Thank you Chris and Sunny!

The tour was very fast, the guide did not give time to observe, he spoke at 2X, the dinner was very fast anyway, more than half of the food was left because the place was going to close, of the options offered by the page, It is not true that one chooses, they have a determined route.

Dear Guests, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are sorry to hear that you felt the tour was fast, but after we check internally, the truth was NOT 100% as you mentioned, we hope you could be more objective! You booked 19.00 picked up and by the time your group finished visiting Shanghai Tower, it's almost 20.20 ,in Shanghai most local restaurant close between 21.00 to 21.30, we pre-ordered the food for you and have requested restaurant waited for you, we are happy you finished all the food we ordered ( Not as you mentioned half of food was left, the restaurant we booked was the classy one, NOT cheap one ,their service is always meet our quality standard , they never rush clients eating if the clients are still at table despite the closing time). The tour package you booked included Shanghai Tower observation deck view and dinner, we delivered as what you booked but during the tour you insisted for additional cruise tour on top of that, we checked the cruise schedule for you but after you finished dinner, the cruise already closed….our guide still did extra to show you the Bund lights, because of your own short time and you could not do the additional river cruise (without pre-booking) at your last minute request and you described our tour “ of the options offered by the page, it is not true one chooses” which was totally mis-leading in your feedbacks. You had a big group and our guide need to keep everyone in pace in case you missed the schedules especially you have extreme tight schedule for the tour, we had tried our best to fit as much as we could during the very limited time you gave us for your night tour. We wished you could book earlier pick up time than 19.00, but the reality was you finished your conference late on that evening and your group would NOT be ready till 19.00. As top tour operator we value all the guests experience with us and we definitely recommend you keep more time for your Shanghai tour next time, in this case, you would have more flexible time to explore our big city rather than tried to squeeze everything in just few hours~ Cheers!

I had no idea I’d wait in line for 2 hours. Would have liked to have been informed about this. Also I never got a boat ride and I thought that was supposed to be part of the package as well. Having a local guide was good for language barrier, but the 2 hours in line but a damper on the whole experience.

Dear Amy, Thank you for taking time to review our tour. We are sorry that you had to wait in line for going up the tower . As soon as you booked the tour we sent you the email to inform that due to the summer vocation , the observation deck will be busy and need waiting in line , on the tour day upon at tower entrance , when we noticed that the waiting was abot 2-hour, we asked if you still like to contiue the tour and you agreed, we also nicely offered you the option to cancle the tour or the roof top bar option and you still insisted that you would wait in line to go tower. Each year July to Aug is school summer vocation in China, most popular sites in China is super busy and waiting in line is common, especially some top attractions like tower observation deck. The crowds are not in our control and we always try our best to provide the excellent services to our customers. Our this tour only include tower observation deck view and old town at night walking, but NOT include any service for the boat cruise,we do have other tour with cruise package , wished that you have informed us you were interested in the cruise so we would be more than happy to recommend you our other tour package.
