Everything was very good.
The tour was better than we expected.
Choose Mary as your guide. She is very knowledgeable about history/religion. She walked with us for 2 hours longer than expected, so we can see everything without rushing, and even took very beautiful photos of us.

A perfect day! Our guide Caroline was brilliant! We were taken around the city by our driver and Caroline accompanied us at every stop to give us local information and history. Everything was very well organised and we saw so much! Our lunch was incredible Chinese food, and there was plenty of it! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai - thank you Caroline and Alana and our driver! A wonderful day that we will never forget!

While in transit at Pudong Airport, we were able to visit Shanghai city's most popular sites as a family, thanks to our super knowledgeable and dedicated guide and driver. The day was very well organized, with a good meal included in the package. Well done and thank you again! I recommend.

My guide Xin was very knowledgeable and most willing to adapt the tour to my personal interests, which included history and culture of Shanghai. The organiser, Alina, communicated very professionally and everything ran to plan with a very comfortable air conditioned car. Xin took me to a delicious lunch! I certainly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to discover Shanghai.

Very nice day discovering the full city which wouldn't be possible without guide and driver.
The guide was very helpful also to give us recommendation on where to eat and other activities. They are very flexible, at the starting of the day they ask you what exactly you like to do abd they can change the visit according to it. At the end of the day, the driver and guide leave you anywhere you want.

This was an awesome tour! We had a great time seeing all the sights of Shanghai. Snow, our tour guide, was awesome and very knowledgeable. The lunch and dinner was excellent. We recommend it! Five stars all the way!!

This tour was o.k. What made it three stars is the food which was Fantastic!!! Our tour guide, Snow, took us to two different resaturants where we had a great experience of tasting typical Chinese food and this was the only tour that our guide actually shared our food. In one of the restaurants there was even a dance show which was interesting. Our guide was a girl that wanted to please. She was very friendly, her mastery of English was great, however it seemed that she was inexperienced as we started the tour with: Where do you want to go? Of course, as that was our fist time in China we had no idea, but followed her to our first stop which was a boring/simple unexciting parkfrom there on we had few stops, but unfortunatelly none breath taking and certainly NOT AMAZING. Sorry Snow.

What an amazing day, we did so much with so little time. Xin was a fantastic guide with great knowledge about the local area. Even though it rained most of the day it didn't take the shine off the tour.
Xin started the day day by asking if there was anything specific that we wanted to do and then built it into the tour. The restaurants we were taken to were authentic, the food was of a good quality. Xin helped to educate us in the traditions of eating Chinese food correctly - I still need to master my chop stick skills.
Thank you Xin, you made our short stay in Shanghai a memorable time. We highly recommend this tour and Xin as a guide.

The Company were very proactive and contacted me prior to the tour, to ensure I knew the pick up times and who would meet me. My guide was a very nice woman named Lang. She met me at the Hotel and we got into the transport to start the tour. We started at the Yu Gardens in the City. A beautiful place with wonderful buildings, trees, rocks and features. Lang was very knowledgeable and knew the history behind everything. She gave me plenty of opportunities for picture taking and exploring. We then went to the Jade Buddha Temple. Lang was again very knowledgeable and gave great information of History and other facts and figures. A quick stop at the French Concession area of Shanghai before going to the Sky Tower for Lunch and fantastic views of Shanghai. We then went to a Museum near the World fair site before eating dinner at a new Sichuan restaurant. The food was spicy and delicious and there was the additional bonus of entertainment, with the famous Mask changing show. It was amazing and I don't know who they do it!! Overall, it was a fantastic day and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai. Lang was amazing!!

Could not have been better. Mary, our amazing tour guide is terrific. she met us at the ship and took us to experience Shanghai.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch after which, we saw even more before being taken to the airport for our flight to JFK.
Mary made our day in Shanghai memorable and we can't thank her and Viator enough..

Alana was the tour guide for my parents and I for a whole day private tour of Shanghai that included lunch, dinner and a face changing show.
Alana was very knowledgeable on the history of Shanghai, spoke good English, was patient, flexible and considerate towards my elderly parents and I during the 10 hour tour. The tour was long but well worth the time spent. I would highly recommend Alana as a tour guide and I wish her the best of luck with her future.

Our trip today with Snow was wonderful. She took us every where we wanted to go and was a wonderful guide. The lunch she took us to if local Shanghai cuisine was outstanding! If you have the chance to be i at our with Snow you will not be disappointed. We were more than pleased and feel grateful for such a great day.

I would recommend this tour. Vicky our guide was very friendly and lovely. She managed to place it together. We visited a few places and we got to know the city better.
As a note of advise - prior to the tour, have a look at the list and figure out what you wish to see and what your interest are.
The only disappointment was that we couldn't watch the face change mask show with the dinner. And there were no heads up that we will be watching the show.

I had only one day to see Shanghai and Alana really helped me get into what Shanghai has to offer. She was really flexible and attentive to my requests and focused on making sure that I enjoyed the day. Alana always came with good suggestions to take advantage of our time, booked tickets for me at the last minute, and made sure we had some rest time during the day in beautiful settings where I could take the pictures I was looking for. Based on today's tour with Alana, I am signing up for another tour next Saturday that I had not planned. She is that good! Please thank her for all her professionalism and care.

Had an amazing time, the private tour was the perfect option, had the opportunity to tailor my day to see the things that interested me the most, we got to avoid most if not all the crowds and had a fantastic lunch. Our first day in Shanghai was so fun thanks to Vickie as our guide. She was very smart, eloquent and gave us special attention throughout the day. My husband and I had a fantastic time on this trip. Alana sent me a what's app message confirming the anticipation of our arrival within hours of booking the tour. We were greeted promptly at 9:30AM in our hotel lobby by Alana and our driver with lovely local souveniers to take home. She brought a huge professional camera for the day, with promise to take pictures of us throughout the tour so that we can focus on the beauty, while she captured every moment. Once we were seated in our comfortable, air conditioned van, we went over our itenirary. Alana gave us many options of what we would like to do, and she did an incredible job accommodating all of our requests. In just one day, we managed to visit an incredible amount of places. We started with Buddah's Temple., a magnificent place of worship. Alana took the time to explain the meanings of all of the Buddah's, Gods and symbols. It was truly fascinating and beautiful. Afterwards, we talk a lovely walk through the French Quarter. An incredible oasis hidden in plain sight down a narrow street where you would never know it's there unless someone showed you. It was like stepping into a town square in Paris, sorrounded by lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. Next, Alana mentioned that there is also a Jewish Quarter, which we quickly said we would like to see as well. My husband and I had no idea that Shanghai was responsible for taking in almost 23,000 Jewish Refujees out of Europe during WWII and consequently saving their lives from persecution. The short, but heart-warming tour of the Jewish Temple and grounds was an incredible bonus to our day. For lunch, Alana took us to a popular local spot near the Shanghai Tower. We loved eating among the locals and the food was delicious. Alana took great care in making sure that our food was prepared to our strict Vegan specifications. After a quick Ferry ride across the river with the locals, we took a beautiful walk along the Bond Promanade, This highly manicured walkway along the river was beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable. The view of the skyline is breathtaking and the Europe inspired architechture was lovely. Next, we took a tour of the Yuan Garden. What an incredible experience to walk through the former house of a wealthy man that owned it over 400 years ago. The furniture, and traditional settings truly tells a story of the customs of an era so unfamiliar to ours. The gardens and beautiful landcapes sorrounding the house is something you would only read about in a historical romance novel. Alana's detailed explanationed of the many hidden symbols and treasures scatterred throughout the property, only added more awe to the experience. After the garden we took a walk through the busy market right outside the garden where locals gather to eat delicious traditional food, while tourists gather to buy local treasures and get a taste of China., Finally, Alana arranged for a delicous Dinner with a traditional face changing show to finish off our tour. Once again, she took great care to make sure that our dietery restrictions were met perfectly. The face chaging show was an incredible and fun experience to watch during dinner, and as throughout the entire day, Alana was right there with her fancy camera, capturing our reactions as we watched with fascination. Finally, we were safely delivered back to our hotel and sent off with hugs and waves as if we were old friends saying goodbye after a visit. The following morning, I awoke to an inbox full of pictures to go with our memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Alana and Viator for an incredible day!!
