Wonderful Alpaca & Nami daytrip

Andrew has been an amazing tour buddy with excellent photography skills. We had a fantabulous day at Alpaca world and Nami Island. We enjoyed the breathtaking view of Nami Island and decided to give a pass to the garden of morning calm. Andrew has been very insightful, accomdative and patience, he has recommended delicious lunch and super yummers dinner venue. We had our best day in Seoul!

From the start, Andrew, made sure he gave us options to explore in Nami and nearby areas. His recommendations were as expected, beautiful. Benny, our assigned guide/photographer was very attentive and responsive. He was quick to point us to nice locations for the shoot and the pictures were beautiful. So worth it, even when it rained towards the end of the tour.

Great trip to Nami Island and Alpaca World

We had a fun time around Nami Island and Alpaca World with Andrew. He is such a good tour guide and photographer. Very knowledgeable and helpful with food recommendations. The ride was very comfortable as we both fell asleep to and from the locations. Thanks again to Andrew for helping with the proposal, he helped capture the highlight of our trip.

This was our first trip to Korea. Andrew Chung, our tour guide, driver, and photographer, was prompt in picking us up at our Airbnb. He speaks English well and is easy to communicate with. He demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competency. We love some of the pictures that he had taken of us! We are grateful for his time and patience in touring us around Nami Island and the Gyeongbokgung Palace. We also appreciate his knowledge in sharing with us the history of each place and showing us his kindness throughout the tour. We are thankful for the list of recommendations he has given us regarding the places to visit in Busan and Seoul. Lastly, we are grateful to him for teaching one of our friends how to ride a bike! :) As an improvement, he could give guidance on how to pose for pictures. Overall, we truly enjoyed his company and highly recommend him for your trip!

Nami Island and more

This was the best day we spent in Korea, thanks to Andrew. Unlike other tours we booked, we dealt with him and not an agency. He was fantastic to spend time with. It didn't hurt that the Morning Calm garden turned out to be so spectacular; Nami exceeded expectations but this quirky garden was the true highlight. Finally, Andrew sent us almost a gigabyte of photos at the end of the day.

Best for flexibility and hospitality

it was only me and my mom and we arrived Seoul early morning. So we decided to take this tailor-made tour to nami island and places around. Michael took care of us really well. Good English explanation and gave us many tips and recommendations even it's not in the program. Moreover, he took nice photos with dslr camera, so I and my mom can be in the same frame and still enjoy all posts and selfie stick can't do. Recommended for friends and family who want to take time to enjoy scenery with a bonus of good photos.

Private Tour of Nami Island and The Garden of Morning Calm

Our day with our tour guide trip to Nami Island and The Garden of Morning Clam was wonderful. Our guide, Micheal Chung, picked us up at our hotel promptly at 8am and drove us to Nami Island, about 1 1/2 hours from downtown Seoul. Access to Nami Island is via ferry boat, about a 10 minute ride in the Han River. For the brave at heart a zip-line ride to the park is also available. We took the ferry. The park is very clean with many attractions for adults and children. Nami Island is a really beautiful park and the backdrop for several movies and K-Dramas, the most famous one being Winter Sonata. I recommend watching a few episodes before the tour. There’s enough to see and do to make Nami Island a full day trip (bicycling, pedal boat rides, etc.) , but we wanted to squeeze in other sights that day. The wooded areas and paths are very peaceful and picturesque. There were a lot of small wildlife running around freely. They are not bashful and will come up to you, especially if you have food. After Nami Island, we still had time left in the day so we stopped at the Garden of Morning Calm for two hours on our way back to Seoul. The gardens there are amazing and really worth seeing. There are paved roads and a hiking trail there which are both very nice. We went during early October, before the leaves turned, and that time of year is perfect for seeing the many varieties of plantings and trees. There’s enough signs in English to know what each planting is. Stopping for lunch on the way back was part of the plan and we asked our tour guide if we could eat at an authentic Korean restaurant for lunch. I’m not sure which restaurant it was, but it was authentic Korean food and out of the way of the typical touristy restaurants. Very nice. Our guide took a lot of beautiful pictures of us. He had a professional camera pictures were very well done. Having a private tour guide allowed us to get some great “couples” shots and spend our time focused on seeing things instead of taking pictures. Our guide was fluent in English and Korean and we spoke both languages on our tour. He was an extremely polite and gracious host throughout the day. He knew way around that part of the country and was a safe driver. His van was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend taking this tour early in your stay, since you’ll get a lot of suggestions from Micheal for where to eat, where to go and what to see.
