A K-POP tour for Fans and Novices

The tour is worth every penny. Simba is a fantastic host - humorous, informative, accommodating, caring, organized...the list can go on. I am new to the k-pop world, so this tour was the perfect introduction. The bus was packed with singles, families and group travelers. From young fans to curious retirees, the group was fun and pleasant to be around. You learn and experience a lot on this tour, so it is perfect for fans and novices. I only wish we could have stayed at the library a little longer. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was absolutely fantastic - the tour was immense fun and Simba, our bubbly guide, was a joy. Simba made everything more interesting and relatable (even for those of us parents who didn’t know much about the K-pop industry and stars). It was a full day at a perfect pace! Highly recommended

Simba at PLK travel was a great guide on our KPop tour. Highlights were the KBS tour and the HIKR experience. Also learned a lot about the KPop industry on the airconditioned bus ride. A bonus was the Starfield Library.

Lots of fun! Kim and Simba were kind and knowledgeable guides. Kim explained everything very clearly and gave plenty of chances for photos and questions. We are a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and a 9 year old. We like K Pop though we were definitely not the most diehard fans on the tour. (For example we have no idea which artists are with which label.) We learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves. KBS and HiKR were the highlights for us. The interactive exhibits at both were fun and engaging. There is free time at all the stops so you can pick what you want to do too!

I really enjoyed the K-POP Fan One Day Tour from Seoul. Even though it rained all day, our guide Kim was so attentive and made sure everyone stayed safe and had fun. I got lost on the way to the meeting point, but they waited for me and gave clear directions to help me find the group — I really appreciated that! Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this tour to any K-pop fan visiting Seoul. Rain or shine, you’ll have a good time!

Kim was fantastic! So friendly and just joy to be with for the day: very knowledgeable and engaging on all matters, encouraging to interact with the tour (there was a cool number of media-interactive parts). All visits were a blast, i could appreciate a bit more time inside KBS, even to learn more about history of k-wave but I guess as this is a TV station, time needs to be limited. Very cool experience

Our tour guide was Ms. Kim as she preferred we call her, and she was absolutely amazing! She understood and spoke English very well and had a great sense of humor! Our first stop was the KBS building. While I enjoyed my time there, I sincerely wish that I had a friend with me so we could both try out the different activities that were available. I did not catch a glimpse of any idols walking around so that was unfortunate, but it was also to be expected so I’m not too disappointed. Next we went to HiKR Ground where, again, I wish I had a friend to have fun with and even cursed my own shyness to join in on the Kpop dancing happening. However, I enjoyed the Peach Lemon Black Tea and Red Bean and Cream Donut I got from Knotted on the 5th floor, so I was happy! We moved along to Coex where I got to take a picture of the Starfield Library (I work at a library so I just had to) and enjoyed a Bulgogi pizza for lunch, and I decided that I will need to bring my friend here next time I return to Korea on our own time to hopefully not get lost while we shop till we drop! Ms. Kim took us to Ktown4u where I bought a few of my favorite groups’ albums before she showed us the wall of handprints from SM artists, so of course I had to take a picture with the one from BoA! Our final stop was SM Kwangya where I did not buy anything despite liking several of the company’s groups, but I took some pictures of the cool floor panels they had. Ms. Kim even informed us that a certain building of apartments close by housed Taemin from SHINee which was one of the first groups that got me into the music, so that was very cool! I was surprised to hear that Ms. Kim actually starred in music videos and dramas before becoming a tour guide, so she definitely became one of my most favorite guides during this whole 2-week trip! She is utterly magnificent!

An insightful/interactive look in to Korean broadcasting with a tour of the KBS station as well as other stops that showcase the K-pop phenomena, our 16 y/o daughter had a great time (and her parents as well!). Kim, our guide, was lots of fun and kept us all well informed throughout the tour.

This would be truly an eye opening experience for all K-pop fans. Our tour guide Gina was super patient to explain the logistics before we got to KBS so we could act as locals. It was super fun to see more than 10 groups of idols with all the fangirls/boys who shared the same passion. The tour is highly recommended!
