Great Tour of Uluwatu TEMPLE.

This is a great tour. The driver Mr. Ketut was excellent. He was a good driver, friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend this tour. I will add that the distance between the Uluwatto Temple and the Jimbaran Dinner is quite far. Better communication regarding the time it takes to get from the Temple to the Dinner would be helpful. Other than that the tour, and the driver are great.

Kadek, our guide was very informative and friendly. He helped make our afternoon trip to the temple and the seafood restaurant run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. The temple was fantastic to see, especially when it was sunset. The dance was lively and good fun to watch.

This was an amazing tour which started with Ketut Petra giving us a talk into the history. Ketut was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had with precise and concise answers. He also made both of us feel extremely comfortable and at ease. Throughout the drive to the destination Ketut pointed out historical monuments and what they meant and stood for. He is an outstanding drive and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

We had an enjoyable time with our guide, Ketut Putra. I appreciated him offering to pick us up a little early to account for traffic. Once we got to the temple grounds, he took some photos for us and told us about some of the history behind the statues and buildings. He was very helpful in watching out for monkeys, while we walked around taking photos. (The monkeys will steal your glasses and mobile phones, if you are not careful). Be aware of the monkeys waiting outside the exit of the dance area. We enjoyed watching the waves crashing onto the beach, while we ate our tasty dinner.

The whole experience was not that great especially the Uluwatu Temple was shortened and I was taken to other places in the temple. For the seafood dinner our guide Ketut Putra asked us 4 times if we wanted to go to the seafood place or a place close by to the Uluwatu temple as it will take 1 1/2 hr and a lot of traffic and was trying to convince us not to go to the seafood place which we paid for we were not shown all the things mentioned in the itinerary either. We were not happy with this excursion and how it was handled at all

It was true the kecak dance in uluwatu temple is crowded and the stage is full by the guest who will watching the dance everyday because the dance is very popular in Bali. Our driver is offering if you wish to have a dinner near the temple there is a restaurant but if you wish to have your dinner in Jimbaran of course he will take you there and the choice is from your side. Our driver take you to the restaurant in Jimbaran after you decide to have your dinner there. This was a great trip. The temple is beautiful and the views of the cliffs and ocean are stunning. The dance is incredible. Our driver, Hari, was such an wonderful guide. Be conscious of the monkeys - put any loose articles away - we saw glasses, hats, bags all get taken.

Great driver, beautiful show, horrible seating and a mediocre dinner. We would not do it again.

The driver/guide was excellent. He explained everything and was incredibly helpful. The fire dance was very interesting. However, seating was a madhouse. It is first come first serve but they sold far more seats than were available. The ushers kept cramming us together. In 90 degree temperature along with 90 % humidity, it became unbearable. We got tired people sitting in our laps and standing in front us, so we left early. Dinner was below average at a mediocre restaurant. The waiters kept trying to sell the upgrades and we finally took one upgrade which ended up costing us an extra $50 instead of the $10 they told us.

In Jimbaran while you do the dinner the tourist also crowed because is very popular for it's seafood dinner. The waiter/waitress of course they offer you another seafood if you don't like to add another menu you may ignore they offer. Look forward to possibility assist you on your next visit to Bali.

I don't recommend it. The description says the activity lasts up to 7 hours; but this is the reality: they pick you up, you arrive at the temple, the guide literally made us run through the temple, took 4 photos, gave us the dance tickets, and we were seated from 4 pm until the dance started at 6 pm. The dance lasts an hour. Then we go by car, and because of traffic, it's practically an hour, and dinner is pretty awful; the place is dirty, the tables are dirty. The place literally looked so bad. The person taking our order only wanted us to order lobster, and when we said no, she treated us poorly 😅. Honestly, we paid to be in the car, practically 4 of us in total. We sat in the sun waiting for the dance to start for 2 hours, and dinner lasted about 40 minutes. Please don't waste your time and money on this tour. Go straight there and buy your tickets, and when the show is over, you can find a good restaurant yourself.

Yes correct we put 6-7 hours on our product for the tour from pick up until we drop you back to your hotel, but as on our last conversation due your hotel located in ubud and it will take 2 hours drive to Uluwatu Temple that's why the tour more than 7 hours. Yesterday before arrive to the temple our driver take you to coffee plantation then you arrive at the temple around 04.40 pm together with our another driver. You only waiting 30 minutes before the dance start after you visiting uluwatu temple, why our driver leave you at the stage because we choose a good seat at the stage so you can watch the dance with a nice view of the sunset. For your dinner at the restaurant we already book for you, and of course the waiter/waitress offer you another menu. We hope the above explanation is clear to you. The temple highlight was its location on a high cliff overlooking the ocean. There were different locations with excellent views. The highlight of this tour was the dance. The performance was well done and the costumes amazing. Our seafood dinner was a huge disappointment. We were at a huge fast food type venue that seemed to focus only on tourist. The food on the set menu was eatable but not very good. We left most of it because it didn’t taste right and were afraid of getting sick. Our guide Wayan was not a great connection for us. We didn’t start off with a good conversation because our question regarding cremation a Hindu tradition seemed to turn extremely personal on his account and we didn’t want to discuss our spiritual beliefs which greatly offended him. From there it seemed he became more and more defensive when we asked him sightseeing questions. We told him we are spiritual, and not necessarily religious which he did not like at all - It made the rest of the evening less enjoyable. He constantly told us everything we need to do in Bali and that he was the best guide and that we should book him directly and not go through the company. He was very insistent on all his opinions. He totally rubbed us the wrong way and would constantly talk even though we told him we just wanted to be quiet.

I had the most amazing time. The views at uluwatu temple are absolutely stunning. The fire dance was incredible, funny and captivating. Putu Badung was my driver and tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, funny and took plenty of great insta pics for me! He also looked for a cable charger for me and went above and beyond. He also helped me find my friends and organised everything so it was seamless. The picking up part too was easy as it was all through whatsapp. It was a really fun tour.

A memorable experience. Our driver, Ketut, of Bali Sky Tours, did a wonderful job of getting us to our destinations on-time. The views from Ulu Watu are stunning. The Kecak and Fire Dance were excellent performances. Recommend you bring an umbrella to shield the sun if you are planning to sit and wait for the sunset It gets hot. The beach afterwards was beautiful.

This trip was a disaster. It started out ok with an ontime pickup, a friendly guide and a smooth ride. Our guide suggested a coffee stop and we were silly enough to agree and so we were trapped into that fake, awkward experience of feeling you had to buy something because you got a tasting of the various products. Hated it. Then we hit ridiculous traffic jams on the skinny roads into Uluwatu. It took ages to get to the place and then the guide insisted on photographing us at every little corner until we told him to stop. We were rushing to get into the dance arena but needn't have bothered as the appeal of repeated clapping hands and chanting wore off very quickly. Boring plus! So we escaped after enduring 30 minutes, acting on the earlier advice of the guide who said we needed to beat the traffic to make it to Jimbaran before the traffic built up. Too late brother! After two hours of ridiculously congested traffic, our driver told us we were still an hour away from Jimbaran. So we pulled the pin and got him to drive us back to Sanur. So we thought the show was crap and missed the dinner. Any firm that is offering this event knowing of the traffic conditions that can affect the buyer's enjoyment of the event should be ashamed of themselves. We were very upset about what happened after spending a considerable amount on the show.

Regarding your visit in Coffee Plantation is only our driver suggestion and you may agree or skip the suggestion. The kecak dance show duration it was one hour duration, this is balinese traditional dance beside the temple. Overall, I give this experience 3.5/4 stars. Knocking off a star due to late pick-up (~40 minutes). The ticket states 3 PM pick-up time, however the driver (Putra) was under the impression my pick-up was at 4 PM for some reason. Also, the initial restaurant (Jimbaran Beach) I was scheduled for dinner was closed due to a celebration (Galungan). This was not relayed until after my pick-up. Besides this hiccup, everything went smoothly. Putra was very friendly and welcomed small talk. He made a stop at a local tea/coffee spot which offered complimentary samples. For entrance into temple - appropriate attire (covering legs/shoulders) is recommended. However, they offer sarongs/sash for men and women to wear. Putra looked out for me with the monkeys. He stated monkeys in the Uluwatu Temple can be aggressive. Listen to the stories!!! I witnessed one snatch a woman's phone right out of her hands. Put the phone in its mouth and disappeared into the trees. Tucked my phone away after that - a photo isn't worth my phone being snatched. Highly recommend getting to the show early (30 - 40 min) and grab a good seat. I arrived 20 minutes early and there was minimal seating. You are sitting on concreate, so be prepared to be uncomfortable. Personally, I recommend bringing a small portable fan; it was humid! Show lasted ~45 minutes. Overall, I'd recommend this experience to others.

Sorry to have to give a bad review but it really wasn't what we were expecting, or maybe it just wasn't for us. It was a very crowded, busy, rushed tour. Nothing about it was enjoyable. The monkeys weren't as good as the Monkey Jungle on a previous tour, the Fire Dance was interesting for a little while but the crowds spoilt it and the evening bbq on the beach was a total waste of time and energy. Not at all what you would expect when you think of a beach bbq. The crowds went forever and it had no atmosphere at all except for zillions of people everywhere.

Our driver Putra was so incredibly sweet. It was my partners birthday & he organised a cake at dinner and a little band to come sing to him. He made the whole experience seamless and easy. Super attentive to our needs & was just so so sweet!! The temple sunset view was awesome, the monkeys weren’t aggressive at all. The dance was also really cool to experience. Putra guided us through the temple & offered to take photos. Only slight let down was the service at the restaurant which is of no fault of the company or Putra. We had dessert and were ready to pay for our add ons and the manager got really upset as we didn’t realise they were bringing us out another dessert which we did not order, it did ruin the ambience of the whole experience due to his aggressive language however, we put it down to it being him wanting tips/extra items ordered off the menu. All in all - awesome experience.

The temple and fire dance were amazing. Ari even had a stick to keep the monkeys at bay in case they became aggressive. Be prepared to sit on a stone step for the dance. Elderly may wish to ask for special accommodations. My 80 year old mother and I both were hurting a little by the end of the show, but it is so amazing that we pushed the pain out of our minds! The dancers and singers are incredible. I think that dinner after the show on the beach is a little too late and was not exactly what I expected. The menu is set (not a buffet) so my pickier eater was not super satisfied. Due to traffic this got us back to our villa by nearly 11:00. Honestly, the temple and dance performance would have been a wonderful tour without the dinner included, even for the same price.

Enjoyable Trip just beware of monkeys

We had a great private guide named Dharma who picked us up on time. He also took us to try the local Balinese coffee after we mentioned we hadn’t tried it yet. You need to watch your belongings at the monkey forest (our guide warned us) and whilst we did everything to ensure we would be fine the monkeys still attempted to steal from us. You need to get in early to the fire show to get a good seat. We were shoved up the very back on the side and couldn’t see the sunset backdrop behind the firedancers. The show was a tad longer than we thought and you need to read the pamphlet they give you in order to understand what’s going on. The seafood dinner was pre-set and was nice. The staff at the restaurant were hard to flag down to order more food or drink and didn’t have the nicest attitude but the food was tasty. Overall it was a nice tour and the highlight was our driver

Entertaining evening, despite the sitting around waiting for the show to start (worth the wait). The location of the temple is in a beautiful setting on cliffs over looking the sea and monkeys you need to protect your valuables against. Nice resturant, overlooking the beach.
