Overview

Enjoy the sunrise at Mount Batur without exerting yourself and hiking. At the foot of Mount Batur, you’ll climb into a Jeep and cruise to the lookout point. While waiting for the sunrise, your guide will provide you with a light breakfast, hot drink, and even snap great pictures and videos of you if you’d like. I wish I could give more stars but no. The people working there were good. No complains on them. I felt the whole thing is not correctly mentioned. They do not take you to the top of the mountain for sunrise view. We were told, only hikers can go there. We were stopped way below, where approximately 250-300 jeeps were all crammed up with 1000 something people there all shouting and taking pictures. Where our jeep was stopped all we could see was trees. They were asking for money to take us on the top. Not at all a pleasant experience. We were so upset about it. The guy with us, dint take any pictures of us or offer with jeep like everyone else were doing too.
