I highly recommend this tour. Our driver and guide was a charming young man named Joao (John). He made my nervous wife very comfortable. Took us to tge hot springs, beautiful vistas, beach and off the beaten path. His knowledge of the history and customs (and language) of the Portuguese people was fascinating. Lunch of a stew cooked underground for 6 hrs in a volcanic hole, was amazing.

Absolutely amazing nature. I envy people who live in Furnas volcanic caldera. Imagination fails, everyone needs to see it by him/herself.

This tour was awesome. We had an amazing tour guide who showed us all the sites and gave us detailed knowledge of everything. My mother's handicapped and he stayed with her and kept her company when me and my daughter wanted to stay longer or explore more of a particular site. This is a must see tou
