I had a pretty terrible time getting on this trip. I was told to get on and off the boat several times. I was told finally to get back on the boat, only to be told I would be left on the first stop. I had to frantically call while on the boat to have it confirmed that I was allowed on this boat. It really set off the experience on a bad foot and if I hadn't had excellent service from the agent I would have been stranded on an island. Ruined the trip.

The tour was just as described and there was time enough at each stop. The ticket booth in Fira's old port was easy to find, right at the waterfront.

Very poor organization when leaving the boat. We arrived by put first to the port 9:30. To leave only at 10:20 am whereas the departure was scheduled at 9:45 am. We had to remove the breakfast from the hotel in order to be at the appointment time. The guide only took people with reservation papers and in the end those with QRcode on the phone as was our case. In addition, you will find a landing on the island of Thirassia for two hours on site. We thought we'd have lunch on this island. Due to the earthquake last February, it is forbidden to disembark. We had to settle for a poor sandwich on the boat with a break in front of the island of 20-30 minutes. It would be nice to inform this change in your description. The return trip was also complicated for our transfer to our hotel where we got back on a bus to Oia and then left the group and walked back to our hotel in Finikia. Fortunately the French-speaking guide was interesting in his explanations about the volcano and the surroundings.

Die Abholung vom Hotel funktionierte gut. Die Inhalte dieser Tour entsprachen nicht ganz der Beschreibung. Es gab keine Möglichkeit die Seilbahn/Treppen/Esel zu benutzen, sondern wir wurden mit dem Car zum Hafen gefahren. Den Vulkan zu erkunden war interessant, doch es gab keinen Guide dabei. Der Sprung ins Meer und das Baden im Thermalwasser war interessant anzusehen. An dem Ort Thirassia habe ich auf Vorschlag des Tourguides hin gut gegessen. Doch den Hauptort zu erkunden war bei der Mittagshitze nicht möglich, da es steil bergauf ging und es sicher eine halbe Stunde gedauert hätte. Das Schiff war sehr gefüllt und ich musste mir einen Schattenplatz erkämpfen. Ich hatte mir eine deutschsprachige Tour gewählt, aber die gab es nicht. Dafür Englisch, französisch und italienisch. Preis/Leistung stimmte, auch wenn nicht alles der Beschreibung passte. Der Carfahrer fuhr sehr umsichtig.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de difficultés pour trouver l' agence qui est tout simplement en bas du câble ( panne d' internet et la localisation mal expliquée sur le bon de échange). Notre bateau étant parti nous étions gentiment acceptés pour la même excursion le lendemain.
La promenade en mer avec les vues magnifiques vaut la peine. Il y a le snack sur le bateau pour les boissons et les en-cas. Il faut bien prévoir les chapeaux et la crème solaire. La baignade dans les sources chaudes est amusante, le volcan n' a rien d'extraordinaire si vous avez déjà vu un. Nous ne sommes pas montés au village de Thirassia car c'était un peu court et il fallait manger dans un restaurant du petit port ou tous les bateaux avec les touristes arrivent pratiquement en même temps. La baignade rafraîchissante était la bienvenue mais il faut faire attention si vous n' avez pas de chaussons car les oursins sont là ! A la fin de cette excursion le bateau est passé en bas de Oia et c' était très sympa. Cette excursion est à faire, bon rapport qualité-prix mais évidemment ça reste très touristique . On le savait. Merci.

Belle journée de découvertes, sur un bateau bien équipé qui mérite le 5 étoiles mais le service de transport c'est une organisation ou je sais pas si il faut en rire ou en pleurer, donc je conseil voiture perso taxi...
