Santorini is such a beautiful island, and we are so thankful that we booked this private sightseeing tour! George, our tour guide and driver, was FANTASTIC! He was so knowledgable about the history of Santorini and explained so many things, from how grapes were grown on the island, to the significance of many of the beautiful structures that we would drive by/stop at. Our family of 6 definitely appreciated George's kindness, such as bringing us some ice cold water (Santorini in June was SO hot!) or dropping us off as close as he could so that the grandparents would have an easier time walking through the narrow streets of Santorini. Overall, we saw so many parts of the beautiful island of Santorini because of this excellent tour and would definitely recommend this tour (and George, if possible) if you only have a few days here!

This was a fun excursion. It was customizable to your preferred destinations. George was a great driver. He knew all the history and was able to give us cool background facts about everywhere we went. He got us to some great local food. We saw red beach and black beach. We spent time in Oia. It was wonderful all around.

Guide took us to the highlights. Island is breath taking. Try not to go in the heat of the summer. It was unbearably hot. Impeded us walking in the sun.

The gelato and snacks in oia were great.
Red beach was cool to see and the black beach was very refreshing.

We had the most amazing day in Santorini with our guide/driver Elias. We felt like we really saw the island, and we learned so much. In addition to visiting the famous tourist spots, Elias took us to places off the beaten path. He was so knowledgeable about the island’s past and present AND a great storyteller. We still can’t get over how much we enjoyed it! My family thinks I am a rockstar for booking this tour!

We were on a 10-day cruise to Greece and Italy and Santorini was one of our favorite stops. We chose this tour based on the itinerary and it did not disappoint. Also, our driver, George was the absolute best!! He was one of our most favorite guides during our whole trip. He was very courteous and attentive to our needs and even took us to his favorite spot on the island and it was a hit with our group of 6. He spoke English very well, and we could understand him. We had other guides on our trip, and we had a definite language barrier even though they stated we would have an English-speaking guide. Thank you, George, for making this one of our most favorite stops on our 10-day trip to Greece and Italy!

George, our driver and guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. He was very mindful of what we wanted to do. We learned a lot on this tour. We ate a late lunch at Theofanis. Amazing food and service.

From the moment we stepped into the hot, beat up van, we knew it was going to be a bad tour. The guide didn’t even tell us his name. He claimed the van was just hot from sitting. Then he impeached himself saying he was present at the pickup but the police made him loop around. He assured us it would cool down; it didn’t.
After a brief food stop, we rode to the red beach in utter silence and sweat. My daughter was sliding around in a pool of sweat. Our clothes were damp, faces wet. No water was offered. We had no windows in the back.
When we hit the winding roads, my daughter and I became nauseous with carsickness. That’s not normal for us. Even more remarkable, the tour guide did not utter a single word. No information at all. We flew through Megalochori; a village of significance, in silence.
We parked at the red beach with no information about expect. We had worn flip-flops. The guy took off on a rocky hike to the view point and we struggled on the rocks with our inappropriate footwear. He was about 100 yards ahead of us. Once we caught up and reached the view, he commented that the water is unsafe because of the red iron. That negative comment is literally the only actual information he provided. He then asked if we wanted to continue a hike up rocks and down to the beach. Clearly that would’ve been impossible in our shoes.
I brought up the uncomfortable nature of the van on the walk back. I asked him to call to see about training for a van with working air conditioning. He walked off on his phone. Once we got back into the miserable fan, he said it was not possible. He was on his phone most of the time and when I told him to just take us back that we were suffering, he then started to say we could maybe trade at some point later in the day. It was about an hour round-trip from Fira to the red beach. The tour was supposed to be from 2 to 7 PM, ending in Oia. We were back in our hotel by 3:15.
And no, no island info on the return. Just excuses. He said it was cooler last week and the AC was OK. It was just too hot to be efffective. Then he said we were the problem- we were just all 5 hot from a morning hike. It ended with “the AC does work, just not to your liking.” We ended up taking the public bus to Oia for dinner which was air conditioned and 100x more comfortable.
My husband and I are Arizona retirees; the heat is not a problem for us unless in a vehicle with no ventilation. My oldest son is an Eagle Scout; this is the first time I have ever heard him complain. The driver may have been comfortable because he had the front windows down but little of the (hot) breeze reached us. Plus, why would he have the windows down if the AC was working?!
The terms explicitly guaranteed an air conditioned van and a knowledgeable guide to provide a detailed tour. He was a mere driver, on his phone most of the time. Instead of apologies, so far we have received disingenuous excuses blaming the misery on us.

Based on the information you shared with us at the time—that your family had completed a 3-hour hike under the sun prior to the tour—we were genuinely concerned about the possibility of sunstroke, and we advised a medical check-up out of an abundance of caution. At your request, our guide returned you to your hotel earlier than scheduled.
While our vehicles are inspected daily and the air conditioning was functioning properly, we understand that due to the day’s heat and your family’s condition, the van may have felt uncomfortable. To improve airflow, our guide opened the windows as well. He also offered the option of rescheduling the tour for the following day, which we regret you declined.
We’re always striving to offer top-quality, informative, and friendly service, and we’re sorry this experience did not reflect that for you. We appreciate your feedback and take it seriously as we continue to improve our service.

Junior was a terrific guide. We saw the entire island on our tour. He gave us options and explained pros and cons of each. Extremely helpful before returning to port helping us find WC and no fee ATM. Very knowledgeable and answered all questions. He arranged the tour so we avoided the big crowds as much as possible. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour. We explored the island, learned so much of its history and got immersed in its mythology and saw amazing views of the generous surroundings. Fani's english is perfect. She is not only very pleasant but an excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide. She treated us with lots of care and adapted to all our limitations, at the same time doing her utmost to shown us the hidden gems of Santorini such as red sand beach.

Our 5 hour tour of Santorini was AMAZING. Our driver (George, aka Junior) was fantastic. His knowledge of the area along with his personality made the 5 hours go by very quickly. He took us all over the island showing us location after location with amazing views. In reality, no matter where you are on the island, the views are simply breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour and Junior as your driver.

First off George is really an amazing driver! This is my 2nd time in Santorini and was still amazed of the things I haven't seen the first time I went. I learned so much for him and accomodated our family's needs. He gave us clear directions on where to meet him, how much time we have to explore Oia, and where to meet once we're done exploring/shopping.
He was very knowledgeable about the island too, we really enjoyed talking to him about the ways of the Greeks, how the locals live in Santorini and many more. I really really recommend this tour and will definitely choose them again next time I'm in Santorini (I still want to go back the 3rd time)
If you want a private driver and tour in Santorini you won't regret choosing this company. You get your money's worth compared to joining cruise excursions. You'll enjoy and see more too for such a short amount of time.

We’ve been traveling in Europe for almost 3 weeks and we have done many tours. Alias on our Santorini Custom Private Sightseeing Tour was by far our favorite. We learned so much about Santorini, the history and geology, he took us to beautiful places. We had our 4-year-old daughter with us and Alias was so sweet with her! Our tour guide Chris was amazing! He took us all over the island and his knowledge of Santorini made this tour even better! We visited Oia and took such great pictures with breathtaking views of the island. He recommended this seaside restaurant on Black Beach which was so perfect for a quick bite! We went on to Red Beach for a short hike and even more incredible views! We were a party of 4 and were so comfortable in our private van. We finished in Fira with a late lunch at The Vine overlooking the beautiful coast. Our day couldn’t have been more perfect and Chris was the perfect guide for us!

Santorini is a challenging port with tenders and the cable car. I sent my kids (in their 20s) on the mules up the hill. Meeting the tour guide was easy; We had plenty of time in Oia and took all the photos. We saw Firostefani and the black beach. The lunch spot, however, was absolutely the highlight of our whole Greek cruise. Beautiful setting right on the beach; amazing food. They got us back to the ship in plenty of time. I'm glad we chose this tour.

We enjoyed this tour of Santorini. There is quite a lot to see in Santorini - this tour covered it all. Fira, Oia, red beach, black beach, monastery, Megalochori. We learned a lot about the geologic history of the area - which is quite fascinating. The way grape vines are turned in Santorini due to the weather and much more that could have easily been overlooked. Georg was very knowledgeable and agreeable guide. Given the amount to cover - we didn't have long to stay at many places (we walked too far in oia) -but we just had to backtrack a little and follow the directions). We enjoyed being in a small group of four - we all got attention and had opportunity to ask questions. The guide was willing to adapt to our interests - so we saw nearly everything - if our group had stated we want more time at the beach and cut out a few things - that could have worked. We liked the flexibiilty a small group tour offers. Our group wanted to see everything and ask questions and Georg was up to the task - we had a wonderful time.

a really fun afternoon/evening on a catamaran sailing around Santorini. Wonderful very upbeat and helpful crew. 3 swim stops including the springs (volcanic spring but the water was not hot) and a snorkeling stop. the dinner was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. soft drinks and plentiful white wine. the crew took many sunset pictures of the guests. and the sunset was spectacular. highly recommend!
