Best Excursion

From start to finish this was hands down the best excursion my wife and I have experienced. Nick our guide was so nice and informative not only about the local wines but the Greek culture as a whole. We strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a day of wine and cooking. Chef Chris guided us thru the 5 dishes we prepared and then we had an amazing lunch overlooking the Agean sea.

What a phenomenal experience! We toured one winery and learned about the history of winemaking on the island. We then went to the restaurant for our cooking class which was so much fun! Chef Chris made things interactive and easy for any level of home cook. We got to eat our creations while drinking some great wine. We then went to the dining room and continued eating and drinking wine. Our tour guide was so much fun too! Highly recommend!

Nice way to spend half a day. The wines at the winery were very good. We bought a few bottles. The best part was the cooking class. There were only four of us on the tour, so we all had ample opportunities to jump in and participate. We will definitely try to make some of the dishes back home.

We had a fantastic time! Stavros was a terrific guide, and helped everyone get to know each other. It helped that the other folks on the tour were a fun group of people--all of us were celebrating our anniversaries, except for one couple on their honeymoon. We learned so much about wine making in Santorini, and we had a blast learning to make traditional dishes from Santorini. The food was delicious and plentiful, thanks to our wonderful chef/instructor. I would happily recommend this tour to any food and wine lovers visiting Santorini.

Amazing cooking class and tasting tour

We had an incredible tasting and cooking class experience. Since there was not a lot of tourists coming that week, we lucked out and ended up with just us on the tour. Instead of cancelling what was booked as a group tour, we got to do it with Stavros as our personal guide. He was very knowledgeable about wine and the area and very personable, we had a blast and learned a lot. The tasting was very good and the museum was a bit odd, but still interesting. By far the best part was the cooking class with Chef Stefanos P. at Artemis Karamolegos Winery and Aroma Avlis restaurant. The semi-outdoor kitchen was beautiful and the tour of the surrounding gardens was great. We had fun hands on cooking and made a ton of food, drank a lot of wine, and then had the most lovely lunch. They even packaged up what we couldn’t eat and sent it with us. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Santorini!

My sister and I had such a lovely time on this tour. Our guide, Constantine was amazing- he was so knowledgeable of the island and all of the wine we tried, we loved spending the day with him. The vineyard was lovely- a beautiful lower view of the island with delicious wine, and the cooking class was one of our highlights on the entire trip to Santorini. Would highly recommend this fabulous tour!

This was the perfect experience and my wife and I loved it while in Santorini for our honeymoon. Our guide Costas took us to a wine museum, then did a private tasting, then we went to another winery where we made greek salad, fried tomato fritters, split peaface, and pork tenderloins in a wine reduction. Costas was extremely knowledgeable, the wine was fantastic and the food was great. My wife and I did something similar in Tuscany while traveling in Italy and this experience met all of our expectations and then surpassed them!

If you are interested in Greek wine and cuisine, this tour is a great choice for you! Our tour guide Panos created a friendly and fun atmosphere for the group. From him, we learned a lot about the Santorini island and its wines. Cooking outdoors at the Feggera restaurant was the highlight of the tour. We cooked delicious traditional Greek food alongside the head chef and got some great cooking tips from him as well. This tour is a must all of you foodies out there!

This was such a fantastic tour! Our guide was amazing. We made a stop at the farm for a brief tour, and then off to the winery. The cooking class was the best I have ever done. The atmosphere, view, music, all set the tone for a beautiful afternoon. The food we cooked in class was modern Greek and we loved it all!
