Overview

Experience Santorini on horseback with this small-group tour, designed with experienced riders in mind. You'll saddle up in Megalochori and ride out through the countryside and along to Eros Beach, where you'll get the chance to canter and gallop along the shore. You'll then head up to a cliffside to take in panoramic views and have your photo taken before heading back to the stables.

We will meet at our NEW stable, located in the Vlychada area, 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE RIDE!!! You may enter the upper terrace upon your arrival, and we will meet and greet you . We recommend wearing comfortable long pants or leggings and closed shoes (if possible) for the horse riding tour.

I had an amazing time, and while the pace is customizable to riding level, I definitely recommend booking only if you have previous experience. The horses were sweet and well trained though, well cared for and worked really hard to make it fun. It was a cute ride through the village, the caldera and the beach gallop of course was amazing. Great for solo riders or small groups!

Favorite activity I did on my trip to Europe. I am an experienced horseback rider, but have not galloped in a while. I brought my husband who is not very experienced (never cantered). Luckly, we ended up being the only couple on the tour and the guide was very kind and reassuring, make sure he was comfortable with he speed. We rode horseback through a town and was the coolest experience, we felt like we were in a movie. Once down to the beach he had my husband refrain from galloping and the guide and I took off down the black sand beach. Coolest experience of my life! You definingly should have prior experience for this.

My husband and I are experienced riders and this is by far the most fun and amazing ride we’ve ever done! George was very professional and made sure to give us a tour of the different landmarks. We centered and galloped on Eros Beach, watched the Caldera Sunset from a cliff, went through the town of Megalochori and raced through the dunes. It felt like we were in a movie! Amazing team, great stable and very healthy horses. Thank you George and everyone that was there!

I was very excited about this tour but the workers were very rude. A dog spooked my horse alot and I almost fell off, as I was trying to get back into the saddle the worker kept yelling don't let your horse eat the flowers and didn't care I was just flung over the top of the saddle. We trotted (which is the most uncomfortable) for almost the whole 2 hours. When I asked if we could walk because I was in pain from my leg getting hit from the saddle and I wanted to enjoy the experience and look around they told me no!. The ONLY part I enjoyed was galloping on the beach.

What an incredible experience! Gorgeous horses and wonderful family-run business. We rode down to the beach and through sandy canyons - galloping like the Wild West! Then up to view the caldera and through beautiful megalochori. Our guide and his wife were so helpful and kind. Would highly recommend: a challenging and rewarding experience! I miss those horses already!
