We felt like VIP’s
Horatio was a wonderful historian and storyteller. He was knowledgeable and unhurried as we explored the ruins. It’s incredible to see the ancient roads and artifacts, and everything has been meticulously maintained and/or restored for a one-of-a-kind experience. And how surreal to climb the pyramid and imagine what it must have been like in its time. We felt like VIP’s in Horatio’s care! He truly went above and beyond for us. Thank you, Horatio!!

Tacos, Tequilas and a little History Tour
Tour guide was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and an overall great time! The Tacos 🌮 Tequila Shots, Margaritas and Beer were all great!! The venues we visited were mostly small family owned restaurants. Gave us a true sense of San Miguel de Allende. The history lessons graciously given as we walked the streets was the best part. Loved it!! A lot of time and thought was put into this tour. Well worth the price and our time 👍👍💕

Excellent Experience
My four friends and I were super impressed with our guide Aldo and the walking tour he led us on. It was a very complete tour of historical and cultural sites and we learned a lot. Aldo provided us with tons of background information and answered all our questions as well. He couldn’t have been any better.

Chocolate five ways
This tour helped highlight the various ways chocolate is enjoyed in Mexican culture, specifically in San Miguel de Allende. Our five stops on the tour included one of the oldest chocolatiers in town, enmoladas, and a chocolate and churros shop. Would recommend!

Great local cooking experience
As no one else signed up for the class the evening that we took it, we had a private cooking experience with Chef Miguel! He taught us about the importance of chocolate to Mexican culture and to mole traditions while we sipped chocolate beverages and Mexican wine before we jumped into making salsas, mole, and delicious enmoladas. Would recommend to anyone who's interested in food, culture, and cooking.

Our tour provided a nice...
Our tour provided the perfect orientation to San Miguel de Allende on our first day in the city. Our guide, Diego, was great giving us historical context through the a local perspective. As we walked from landmarks and through the artisan market, it was clear that our guide has developed great relationships with the community he works in daily, which added to the richness of the experience.

Nice tour with Pascal
Pascal did a nice job of showing us different cuisines within a historical context. I was glad I had an opportunity to do some of the much talked about roof top dining in San Miguel. We talked about different variations of vegetables that grow in this area.
My original tour scheduled 5/23 was actually rescheduled to 5/24.

Taste well and learn
Omar highlighted the origin and history of the dishes we tasted which was a plus. All the places were fairly close walk from each other. Omar also pointed out many other places to get dishes that we did not visit on the tour. We sampled several of his suggested spots later.

Ride through beautiful countryside
The trail ride was extremely well run, and the horses were steady and patient. The trail runs along (and sometimes through) a narrow river, then climbs to the top of the canyon, where the view is awesome. Rappelling down the rock is an option (I was a spectator). The package included a simple, wholesome lunch on a comfortable porch. The guide and staff did an excellent job.

Learn the Landmarks
Our guide Elisa was so knowledgeable and we learned such great history about the centro area of San Miguel. She also sent us many recommendations for more things to do after the tour. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and chocolate truffle was an added bonus. A great tour.

Guanajuato came alive for...
Guanajuato came alive for us thanks to Fabricio. He showed us the city not just as a guide, but like a friend welcoming us to his hometown. We walked through colorful alleyways, learned stories hidden behind the architecture, and understood the history and heart of the city in a way we never could have on our own. If you want a tour that feels personal, authentic, and full of fascinating history—Fabricio is the one!

Not crowded is an understatement
We were lucky enough to have no one else book at the same time we did. The result was a private tour. There were no other groups there either, so we had the entire site to ourselves. Jesus was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the archeological site, but also the animals and plants too. His passion for the area was wonderful. He was kind in answering our questions and remembered them to incorporate into things we talked about later. We learned so much today!
