A brilliant evening, with guides who were honest and knowledgeable about their stuff I.e. the Northern Lights. Lovely old lappish cottage where we could warm up and await the phenomenon that is the Aurora Borealis. An absolutely incredible evening and the lights are awesome

Our first time in rovaniemi and with a seven year old in tow, we wanted a ‘hunt’ that was going to work for all of us and this really hit the nail on the head. First off, we didn’t see the lights and yet my daughter had a brilliant time. The fact a cottage is available to pop in and out was perfect and meant if we got cold, we could take 5mins inside with a tea. While waiting for the clouds to hopefully clear, there is an ice slide which my daughter entertained herself with. Top this off with grilled sausage and marshmallows and my daughter barely noticed the lights did not appear! We all had a fantastic evening and it was just nice to spend time together. I haven’t even mentioned the excellent pick-up (guide was in reception and already had a kids booster seat in vehicle despite not requesting), the location of the cottage at the edge of a frozen lake (magical!) and the guide doing everything possible to find a glimmer of the lights with constant high resolution photography just added incredibly to the experience!

Great night with Andre at the lappish cottage. We had hot cocoa, delicious traditional sausages and marshmallows. Beautiful setting. The skies were cloudy but Andre never gave up, we saw the lights on our way back to the hotel. Andre pulled over and took great photos of us under the green glow.

Beautiful area guides were very informative. It was a small group of 7 with a max of 8 which was wonderful. Lovely evening and a place to stay warm when not outside Thanks Dimitri we found all you info re lights interesting Such a pity was cloudy but it didn’t matter the overall experience fantastic.

Our guide was excellent. We saw a bit of the lights on this trip. (Nature's will , nothing the guides can do about this, they were great).
The booking process less so. They will only send an email for the pickup time of the activity the day you book (we never received this mail btw). So if you book month(s) ahead of time you won't receive any reminders or emails about the pickup time closer to your activity. If you get a mail when you book, save it!

We go to an old cottage near a frozen lake to see the beautiful Northern lights. The guide was great and we also enjoyed some snacks such as corn.

What a lovely evening trip out to see the northern lights! Our guide was very prompt in picking us up, told us lots of interesting information about Rovaniemi and aurora borealis.
The location was lovely and the fire was very welcoming. We even had photos taken for us and sent later which was a great touch. Thank you again for a memorable time!

Wonderful guide BUT we had booked for 5 persons at 199€ each which is A LOT OF MONEY.
We were supposed to be small groups.
We were only 8 in the car( good start). Then we arrived at a well established process : 21 mn ride on husky sleights driven by a professional, no way that we could imagine trying to drive… as we were five, I had to go on a second sleight. My children had a chance to have explations about the dogs during or before the ride, but I did not. My driver just told us that if we wanted to drive he could sell us an other tour 10km…
Then sausage grilled in a tepee ( pretty good) but our time was monitored and when they wanted us to get out, they just sent the following group in, so that we felt we had to go…
This is not my definition of small groups and it is not worth the price. For 995€ the night, we expected better.
The only reason I put 2 stars is because the guide was very nice.

Everything went nice and smooth. Nice location. It was great to warm up in the cottage or at the fire. Professional photos was a nice touch.

This cottage is so cute and the view across the small lake was great. You could even see the northern lights reflecting in the lake. Great hosts, beautiful scenery! I liked the option of going inside to warm up a bit while waiting for the "show."

We were picked up punctually. The evening was as described if not better and we had a wonderful time. You do need a very good camera if you are lucky enough to see the Northern Lights although the guide ensured that individual photographs were taken and forwarded to us

2 grands groupes étaient en bus, du coup Andrej, notre guide, est venu nous chercher en voiture et s'est occupé exclusivement de nous, quel service. Nous avons vu de toutes petites aurores boréales via le GSM, pas à l'oeil nu, fait cuire du marshmallow au feu de camp, Dimitri nous a montré comment faire de belles photos et le soir même, nous avons reçu par mail les photos faites avec leur appareil.
Nous avons reçu des boissons chaudes, des saucisses préparées sur le feu, en tout c'était une très belle soirée.

Recomiendo comprobar antes de reservar en alguna app de Auroras Boreales si habrá oportunidad de auroras esa noche, si no hay, usted estará pagando por asar unas salchichas al fuego de noche. Nosotros tuvimos suerte y no coincidieron varios días de auroras en la semana de nuestro viaje. Un tour de auroras te lleva un lugar oscuro para que la puedas ver, recogiendo te en tu hotel y dejándote en él en este caso por lo menos, te explican cosas del fenómeno, hacen fogata con aperitivo y lo más importante, si no tienes conocimientos de foto y buena cámara , las auroras no salen en la foto, si son débiles el ojo oasnve solo blanquecinas a veces, pero ellos te hacen fotos con cámara profesional que sale super bien. Nosotros elegimos este tour porque íbamos con niños y no era adecuado otros tours en los que están rosa la noche buscando la aurora más visible.
