I arrived late. It said 08.45. But it turned out to start at 08.20, notification only via email. It did not match what was written on the tour schedule. Okay, that was my fault. I immediately went to catch up as soon as possible by taxi. It said the main agenda was within 3 hours. When we got there, they said the event was over. But we paid, and we could still join the event. Funny, too stiff. Very unprofessional. Sorry, that's how I felt. And 1 more thing, this tour is very expensive, not worth it

It was disappointing. The group we travelled with was too large and we ended up waiting around. This was worse when the waiting was in super cold weather. The guide was new and was not able to engage with the group. She lacked also the knowledge.

It's a total waste of full day. It's much better to go to Santa Claus village yourself and buy individual tickets for each activity and save time overall . Also Santa Claus village is only for those taking their kids along for the experience

The most memorable thing I seen at the village were the buildings, The guides were very nice and helpful.
The lunch was Ok but either lukewarm or cold, to see and do the Santa photo was annoying, I know everyone wants to get their photo but to wait an hour in line was not my cup of tea. The husky and reindeer were just ok, the best part was just being able to pat one of the dogs.
Anyway you may think I am a whinger and that is fine , for the $765. we paid it was pretty pour tour.

Meeting with Santa was very poor. Just 15 seconds maybe and it's not allowed to take photos or videos there. You can buy photo or video after the meeting. I think at least one photo should be included in the package.
We would also prefer having Finnish guide who can tell us more about everyday life in Finnland and especially Rovaniemi area. As I understood Viator doesn't have local Finnish guides at all. It's a pity. Husky and Reindeer ride was short but nice. Walking to the view point very nice experience. Lunch is good. For Arctic museum you definitely need a guide to tell you the most important things. Other vice it doesn't make a sense, because 1 hour is not enough for this.

Overpriced and too long. We spent way too long in the village and did not have time to do the walk in the forest (up the hill with views). The actual Reindeer and Husky experience were great, however Santa Claus Village was okay for an hour, but all day-NO-just, NO. We did a lot of waiting around doing nothing, so I am not sure how we ran out of time to walk in the forest. Gi Gi was a very attentive guide, the other was not interested or attentive. The lunch and museum were excellent. The whole day just seemed disjointed, and I can't put my finger on why? I felt as though we stood around a lot, so I do not know how we had no time for the walk? Overall, it was way too much to pay for the activities we did.

we arrived at 8:57am or so near the pickup point, but we did not find the exact location, so we called the tour guide for direction at 9:00am(the agreed pickup time), who led us to the wrong direction and refused to give any feasible solution. After negotiation, he told us to wait at the arctic museum for following the rest of the tour, which was almost the end of the tour. The precious 30-minute discussion was far from effective or ideal. Then we decided to check everything by ourselves. Thanks to the reception girl in the arctic light hotel , who shared valuable travel information with us. We were really grateful. Actually, the reindeer ride was 25 euros per adult, the arctic museum was 11 euros per student, the husk ride was 45 euros per person, no entry fee for the santas village. We enjoyed our tour without the assistance of the tour guide. All the entertainment activities were charged with reasonable price. We would say anyone can enjoy the journey without a tour guide. Next time definitely we will still try ourselves, saving money and saving troubles. For this tour, we paid 450 euros for nothing, but a lesson.

Jerry and Paola were our guides. They did an excellent job. Very enthusiastic about the tour. The activities were excellent. A little bit of everything. My 8 year old (son) had a great time. Lunch buffet was not great but It did not take away from the activities. Overall highly recommend it.

EUAN- our travel guide was very knowledgeable and kind to explain every bit.
The entire trip was very good but it was expensive. We enjoyed the husky ride but for it was for very short time we expected at least for 15 mins but it was hardly for 3 to 4 mins max. Disappointed ☹️.
The sleigh ride was very slow and it also lasted for few mins.
After paying 247€ we expect more activities to be added.
The best part was the buffet we liked the lunch as we had many options.

We absolutely loved our day!!! Our guide Nicky was like part of the family and kept my 14, 10 and 3 year old interested all day. It made the day more magical having a guide so friendly & knowledgeable. From the winter trail, to the museum, to the remainder of the day at Santa Claus village- I would do this trip again tomorrow. Amazing day out. We were collected from our accommodation and taken up to a peak to look out over the town and then on to Santas park. First up was meeting Santa, then we had a buffet lunch that was really nice. After lunch we went to see the huskies and after that the reindeer. The guides were great and spoke a variety of languages. The walk up to the peak was a nice stroll and the incline isn’t very steep. It was a great relaxed day trip.

We had a great day trip with the family. We managed to see all the great sights around Rovaniemi. Our guide Antoinella was brilliant with the kids and the tour. The highlight was definitely going on the short walk to the top of the hill to see the view around the city. The Huskies and reindeer were also great

We had a great day in the Santa Clause Village with our guide, Sergio. He is a humorous and considerate guide. He explained the history of Rovaniemi to us detailedly and help us take a lot of beautiful pictures. Even we requested for staying longer time in the Santa Clause Village to do the postcard stuff, he waited for us patiently. We are really happy with the tour and our professional guide. Thank you.

This trip was fantastic as was our guide Roman ! It started with a trip up the mountain where it felt so magical and literally just us with all the fresh snow! BIG TIP , TAKE A SLEDGE so much fun!! The day was organised very well and Roman was very knowledgeable and also kept our 8 year old amused in the hour queue for Santa playing eye spy. Santa himself was not as good as some at home as he does not speak unless spoken too, quite rushed when it’s your turn , also we did not know until after we had seen him you have to purchase the gift if you want one 🙈 I would defo recommend this trip and it includes lots of activities :-)

Excelente el guía que era Felix, apesar que el tour era en inglés y el no sabía hablar fluido español se esforzó hablar en español lo básico oara que entendieramos mejor, super atento siempre.Lo único que sí no nos gustó para nada fue que en la Villa Santa otra guía lo estuviera esperando y lo trajera a carreras porque culpa ella teníamos que andar corriendo y aparte al ellos esperarse entre ellos se juntaban 4 grupos de guías y era demasiada gente y no se disfrutaba igual el tour que andar solo con tu grupo de 8 y el almuerzo un caos y mal organizado parte de los guías porque jamás 4 grupos podían coner a la vez, era demasiada gente y otra cosa Felix un encanto persona peor los otros 3 guías super groseros y odiosos por dicha nobnos tocó ninguno de ellos y nos toco alguien como Felix que si le importaba uno no como los otros guías que culpa de ellos no se pudo disfrutar al máximo por estar exigiéndole a Felix ir rapido.Si son grupos pequeños deben andar separados en nuestro grupo no juntarlos.

Met de huskies en rendieren maak je een rondje van 400 meter. Verder draait het om Santa Claus. Wij hadden andersom verwacht; een husky/rendierervaring met een beetje Santa Claus. De natuurwandeling (1 km) was mooi. Het Arctic Museum was gesloten (maandag); geld terug gehad, maar dit had beter meteen vermeld kunnen worden. De begeleiding was aardig en deskundig, prima!
