Itinerary
Begin your tour of Venice with pick up directly at the Ravenna port and transport by air-conditioned vehicle to the meeting point in Venice, where you will join your guide and store your luggage for the day. From here, you can choose between a walking tour, or our deluxe tour which includes water taxi transfers and a gondola ride.
Marvel at the Grand Canal, and arrive at the famous St. Mark’s Square, with guide commentary along the way to learn about the city’s history and architecture. Disembark and take a turn around the square with your guide to admire the facades of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. Next, walk over the Rialto Bridge and through the Rialto Market (or enjoy free time, if you prefer) before you return to your luggage stored at Piazzale Roma.

After the two hour drive, we had a great full day in Venice with Sebastian, who was outstanding. Our bags were stored safely as we bounded about, capped by a terrific gondola ride. A great tour! One key note … getting our bags and us from Piazza Rome bus station to our hotel was a trick. I wish I’d have planned that out better in advance.

We found this tour to be well worth the cost. The 2 1/2 hour ride from the port was in a private luxury van. We were met by Genny, our fabulous guide. As no cars are allowed in Venice, she showed us how to get around on foot and by boat. Having never been before, it was so helpful to get the lay of the land so that we were comfortable to navigate on our own for the duration of our stay. The gondola ride was a bucket list item for me. Genny provided suggestions for shops and restaurants as well. It was a lot of walking, so be prepared for that.

You probably don't want to post this.
We highly recommend the excursion itself. The cruise ship transfer, motor boat & gondola rides, along with the guided tour of the heart of Venice exceeded our expectations.
Unfortunately, we were not pleased with the way our guide ran the tour.
She did not provide headsets. Because of this, all of the interesting, and important information she provided to one person, was not provided to the rest of the group. She mentioned places of interest while walking past them and did not provide 30 seconds for us to take a picture. She walked quickly, and did not carry a sign to make it easy to follow her. She kept a quick pace that was difficult for me, and others, to keep up with. In fact, it was other members of the group who kept track of stragglers - she did not turn around.
Lastly, when I gave her my hotel address, she told me to go to an incorrect stop. After paying for an expensive water taxi, we got off and was told by someone who offered to help with the luggage said the room was almost 30 minutes away! We had to pay to take a water bus back to the correct location.
Icm not sure I would recommend this excursion unless the guide situation has changed.

Seemless transfer, excellent tour guide. Plenty of luggage room and seating room. Driver and tour guide Sébastien went out of there way to welcome us and make sure we could easily get our luggage to our hotel via water taxi.

The transportation from the cruise ship was seamless, but the real star was our tour guide Sebastian! He was so kind and accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable about the city. He showed us parts of the city away from the tourist districts, and gave great recommendations for restaurants and Tiramisu. He even helped arrange a private water taxi to our hotel. Sebastian made our tour of Venice a highlight of our trip!

Everything about this Tour was perfect. The driver met us promptly with name sign. Our group left on time for Venice. The Tour Guide Annalisa was EXCELLENT. She is from Venice and was so informative is a real manner not just statistics. She was so helpful after the Tour in getting us connected with a water taxi to our hotel with our luggage. Even rode with us to ensure we did okay. You can't go wrong with this tour!

We had a shared transport from Ravenna to Venice after a cruise. Our driver was on time, with plenty of room for our copious amount of luggage. After a safe delivery we had a wonderful day tour through Venice with a knowledgeable guide (Monica), a Gondola tour and a few minutes to shop or eat on your own. Monica is a gem with lots of knowledge - she ensured we were on time, got lots of picturesque photos and she shared wonderful tidbits about architectural and national history. She also went well out of her way to help ensure transport for us to our hotel afterwards. We all enjoyed ourselves and would do it again.

The ride was comfortable from Ravenna to Venice. I feel though the driver spoke no English and I had to use Google translate with her a bit for the long ride. Secondly, there was cancellation of another party transfer which cost us another extra 100 Euros (3 in our party).the tour guide,Claudia was excellent. We met her in Venice and enjoyed her company and disposition.

Unfortunately, we did not meet the minimum number of participants required to run the tour, which typically means we would need to cancel it. However, in an effort to accommodate your group and ensure you could still enjoy the experience, we offered an upgrade to a fully private tour. A tour like this generally costs significantly more, but we only kindly asked for the additional 100 EUR to cover the cost of the gondola, hoping to meet you halfway.

We enjoyed this excursion in Venice. It was wonderful being picked up right at the cruise port in Ravenna by Fabio and driven to meet our guide Octavia. No stress and absolutely comfortable transportation. Octavia was very informative and took very good care of us the entire day. As we only had one night in Venice it was nice to see the sites and learn a lot of history. We also enjoyed a gondola riide and learned a little more history of Venice before going to get our luggage that was stored in the van. Super convenient and easy.
Before saying goodbye to our wonderful guide she gave us perfect walking directions to the Radisson hotel in Venice. Where we had another amazing experience there.
Highly recommend paying the extra for this tour and enjoy a stress free way to explore Venice in a day.

We had a wonderful experience from being picked up promptly from the port to being taken directly to a water taxi, to a fabulous tour by Sebastian in Venice. He helped us each step of the way and delivered us right to our hotel. The communication from the company was great. We traveled with kids and Sebastian kept them interested the whole time. Fantastic. Highly recommend. Seamless transportation from cruise docking in Ravenna to Venice. My luggage was well taken care of so we didn’t have to drag it around. As it was our first time in Venice, our friendly, knowledgeable guide Magda was outstanding. Itinerary was great with stops at all of the important landmarks as well as a wonderful half hour gondola ride which was thoroughly enjoyable. My words don’t do this experience justice so I’d encourage you to do this tour yourself. My only disappointment was the fact that we were only in Venice for the day. Beautiful here.

The transfer from Civitavecchia (cruise port) was seamless. The drivers handled our bags for the entire day. It made it easier to enjoy our tour of Venice. If you are lucky enough to have Sebastian as your tour guide, you are in great hands. As a local Venetian he is knowledgeable about the history and culture of Venice. Sebastian has a typical pride of any local Italian where he wants you to fall in love with his home town. He will tell you where NOT to eat, show you all the best that Venice has to offer, and provide you with the back story of this charming city built on 100+ islands.

Elena was amazing! So was our driver and our water taxi driver. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. We were taken from Ravenna where our cruise shipped docked to Venice where we met Elena. She took us all over Venice, out for an amazing lunch, on a gondola and helped us get our luggage and arranged for a water taxi to get us back to our hotel. When we got flooded in St Marks Square and couldn’t get to our hotel, AFTER THE TOUR!, she came back and found us and helped us navigate the back streets and even carried our heavy luggage to get us to our hotel. She was funny and knowledgeable and super helpful. It was the best money we spent on our trip. I would highly recommend this tour and Elena in particular. I feel like we struck gold with her as our guide. She gave us her what’s app and was helpful to us even after the tour ended. A true gem :)

From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience and we felt taken care of every step of the way. We booked this months in advance and had a group of 16. The cap on the online booking was 15 and viator was very responsive, working with the local your company to confirm we could have 16. They also asked questions like the makeup of our group (8 adults and 8 children), things we wanted to see, if we wanted to add lunch, etc. The day before our arrival in Ravenna, the local operator reached out to confirm all details and provide contact information for our guide. When we arrived in Ravenna, a large bus was waiting to take us to Venice, where we were met by Elena. Elena was outstanding. She ushered us all to the bathroom, onto water taxis and to our Airbnb to drop all of our belongings, even helping to carry suitcases to the third floor. She then took us to an amazing lunch where she kept the kids table under control so the adults could enjoy our meal. Next up was our gondola ride, and she led us over the Rialto and through Piazza San Marco, providing facts and jokes and taking pictures all along the way. She made sure we got on our gondolas, took tons of photos, and bid us goodbye. I received 81 photos the next day, all captured by Elena during our time together. She truly went above and beyond being a tour guide and we appreciated everything so very much. This was absolutely the best way to transition from the cruise to our time in Venice.
