We were scheduled to meet the driver at 8:00 am. According to him s GPS it was a 2:20 minute drive from the port to the meeting location. There was driver stopped for coffee and a comfort break on the way. There was no way we were making the 10:30 boat ride. I’m not sure if that was a big deal or not.
Our tour guide Anna was very knowledgeable but it was difficult to hear her unless you were standing right next to her and there were only 5 people in our group. Some sort of voice amplification would have been helpful.
The tour we got was interesting. I expected more for the price.

Thank you for your kind words about our guide and the tour. The transfer from Trieste takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. The boat was reserved by us and departed on time. We do not use headsets during the tour working with groups of 5 people.
We completely understand your wish to spend more time in Venice. However, our schedule is limited to 7 hours due to the cruise ship’s timeframe in Trieste. If you feel the visit duration is too short, we kindly suggest addressing this concern with your cruise line. They determine the docking time, and unfortunately, they are often reluctant to extend it due to the high docking fees and their operational priorities.
For future bookings made through Viator we highly recommend basing your expectations on the official tour itinerary and description, rather than assumptions.
