Thoroughly knowledgeable and caring guide, who looked after our small group with expert attention. She spent time explaining how the Unesco sites we visit today were shaped by the history of Ravenna, its location and its role in Christianity and the Byzantine Empire. Very disappointed We were told to meet at the train station and got there 15 minutes before the group started.
We waited until 10:20 and just went to the first church on the itinerary. Luckily, we found them.

Great walking tour with Rita. I learned a lot about the history of Ravenna, the mosaics and Dante. She also gave us good tips on where to eat and how to spend the rest of our time.

Our tour guide, Frederica, was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the mosaics from the history of Ravenna, including the original topography, centuries of culture, rulers, religious aspects and the materials used in the mosaics. There is no way we could have glare so much information on our own. We look forward to additional Viator tours in the future.

Excellent opportunity to visit some of Ravenna's famous mosaics. Although there is a fair bit of walking, it is well worth it to see these artistic masterpieces.

An intimate tour of Ravenna with a small group. Off the beaten path but a must see for those interested in early Christian artwork and history. Did this as a day trip from Florence and it was pleasant to be away from the crowds there.

Our guide Marina was excellent. She had humor and was very well prepared about both the area and the places we visited. She also brought lots of little details that others might not have. The peace was easy, and our group was small, which made it easy to talk with her one on one.

Walking tour was very interesting. Our guide did an excellent job. She was very knowledgeable about the history and facts. She was a Ravenna native. If your hearing isn't good, you will need to be close to guide in church settings to listen

Rita was full of personality which made our tour with her fun and special. It was clear she is knowledgeable and passionate about all things Ravenna and especially the history, culture, and mosaics. We were happy to see what we could in the allotted time. We were a bit surprised that she concluded and left rather abruptly at the end of the tour but she did give us a full experience including some extra time. Highly recommend her as a guide.

Had trouble locating place of tour. Left messages .. for the first time ever not happy with service and got there so exhausted couldn’t participate and we went ourselves after resting. Now too late to cancel and get a refund. Still trying to get through but not wasting any more vacation time. Had three different addresses.

We had to leave the excursion before reaching the last stop. However, the guide was superb. She explained the history very well and was clearly very well read on the subject matter of the excursion. Really enjoyed the first 100 minutes and wish we could have continued to the end.
