Luana was an excellent guide. Her pace was just right and the order in which she showed us the different churches helped us understand the historical relevance of the area. Ending at the Basilica of San Vitale was a spectacular culmination of an enjoyable afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with her!

Our tour with Luana was a great pleasure. Although we had read a lot about the history of Ravenna and its impressive mosaics, Luana managed to surprise us with new insights and insider secrets. She was an exceptionally pleasant companion during the roughly three hours we spent together. She also make us valuable sugestions abou other place to visit in Ravenna. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Luana.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Luana. The churches are incredibly beautiful and Luana is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. We are older and I’m recovering from a burnt foot so we appreciated her thoughtfulness. (She spoke to the staff where an elevator was available and called us taxi at the end of the tour.) We highly recommend this excellent tour and Luana in particular.

Luana was a fantastic guide for our group of 8 Americans today. None of us are historians, artists or architects but she managed to take us on an adventure spanning centuries of transition of influence from the Western to the Eastern Empires and the Barbarian powers in between. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were only in Ravenna for a day so we wanted a good tour which would give us a good understanding and overview of the art and the history of the city. Luana did a great job. She was very knowledgeable and informative. She answered all our questions and allowed us to take as much time as wanted in each venue. We would highly recommend her to see and understand these outstanding buildings and this beautiful city.

Luana was great! Lots of information about the history of the buildings, plus interesting facts on things we never would have noticed. She answered all of our questions. My father has a difficult time walking and she made sure a cab was called to go from place to place. She did not rush us; the pace was very good. There are no placards in any of the buildings so a guide is necessary and I'm glad we chose her!

My husband and I took a tour on a Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded at all. Our guide, Luana, was very sweet and knowledgeable about the mosaics and the history. Per our special request she also brought us to see a mosaics workshop. We were very happy with our tour and would recommend her as a guide to anyone visiting Ravenna wishing to see the mosaics.

Had such a wonderful time being shown around the highlights of Ravenna, by the very insightful and knowledgeable Luana. She took her time explaining the sights as we explored each venue and pointed out all the important historical information. Ravenna is breath taking. So much history from the 5th and 6th century’s. Luana brought it to life. We would not have appreciated all there was to see without her knowledge. Being photoshopped out of history started back then! She also managed to work the tour so we avoided school parties which was greatly appreciated. Ravenna has to be on everyone’s list to see. Highly recommended.
