Dylan was our tour guide and we genuinely enjoyed every second, except where the tree fell in the jungle and scared my soul from my body.
We saw the Fer de Lance, red eyed tree frogs, tarantulas, and scorpions.
Dylan knows the jungle well and is obviously passionate about the ecosystem and all it entails. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and seemed to know where to find everything. We saw a Fer-de-lance (the most venomous snake in south america!!!!), a tarantula, numerous frogs, the jesus christ lizard and much more. We definitely recommend booking with efrain tours.
Note: Wear bug spray and long sleeves and pants.

Alejandro was fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and made sure we went at a good pace. He was very prompt.

Fun tour- really enjoyed seeing the kinkajou and fer de lance snake- along with birds, frogs, spiders, bats…

We really enjoyed our night tour. The jungle is a whole different experience in the dark. You likely won't see cute mammals, but if you want to see a variety of reptiles and insects - this is a great tour. One star deducted because our tour provided flashlights were pretty crappy and kept going out.

We did our tour with Dillion. He was so great, he very clearly loves what he does and his enthusiasm made our tour that much better. We were able to see a sloth, scorpions, snakes, a tarantula, and several tree frogs. We loved this tour so much we told others at our hotel to book, and make sure to request Dillion as your guide!

We had a wonderful evening walk where we saw snakes, scorpions, spiders, and heard the sounds of the jungle. Our guide was so informative. The tour company was very understanding when we needed to postpone our tour last minute due to my daughter getting sick. Thank you!

Mauro was brilliant, one of the best at spotting hard to see wildlife and very knowledgeable about all the floral and fauna. With wildlife it is always unpredictable, but we saw 3 types of monkey, 2 types of sloth, and many interesting bats, birds, bugs, and lizards.
Mauro was also very understanding about making changes to our arrangements.

We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!

Jimmy was awesome! You can tell he loves his job, and sharing his knowledge. Its crazy what’s hanging out in the trees and canopy, and you don’t even know it!

This our second night tour and the sighting was great. We saw many frogs, spiders and a snake. Also different species of insects. The guide has a perfect spotlight combined with his telescope to zoom in on these creatures and explains the ins and outs.
Expect some rain, so be prepared to protect your camera gear.

Such a great experience!!! Diego was incredibly helpful and informative throughout the whole tour. We booked a group excursion but it ended up just being my husband and I — the intimate experience was one of a kind. We leaned a lot about not only the animals but also the country and it’s beautiful people. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff was so friendly, and our guide was very knowledgeable. We attempted to see wildlife at night on our own at a private property to no avail. It is clear that expertise is needed to spot and learn about these wonderful creatures.

Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a tour that is all about luck. We saw one tree frog (get eaten by a raccoon since we were shining our lights on it), two snakes and a bunch of spiders. Pretty easy walk on a private property path.

Sloth and snakes are hard to find in Manuel Antonio. You must take night tour if you want to see hard to spot insects or animals. We saw 3 species of serpents and a scorpion.

Thank you for your comment and you are right it is not easy to find wildlife but if you do it with the experts you will find many of them. Thank you once again for your time shared with us.

Seeing a possum and several tree frogs. Also listening to the sound of the night time rain forest. Awesome

What a great night. Our guides Nathan and Sergio were informative, funny, and knowledgeable about the animals we saw. I have no idea how they were able to spot these animals but it was awesome. We saw many different types of frogs, a snake, deer, insects, bats, a sleeping bird, and a Sloth. What a memorable night. If you go and they suggest you rent their boots, do it. The trails we were on were swampy and there were times it felt like your feet were going to get stuck in the mud.

Super entertaining and interesting. Our guide knew the place perfectly, was very careful (especially when finding snakes), and we were able to see frogs, toads, spiders, basilisks, grasshoppers, a sloth, and even a kinkajou. Highly recommended tour!
