Overview

Head out into the jungle of Costa Rica for a morning of soaking in natural thermal hots springs with this tour. There are five hot springs pools in total, with natural clay deposits by the water so that you can give yourself a makeshift face mask. After your soak, you'll sit down to an included Costa Rican lunch before returning to your hotel.

Our tour guide picked us up from our hotel and was super knowledgeable all about Costa Rica and it’s culture. On the car ride to the hot springs we passed through palm oil farms and were taught about the history and the meaning those plantations have to the area. We took an amazing hike up to a river where we were able to swim a bit and see beautiful scenery. After playing in the River we went into the amazing natural hot springs! They were absolutely stunning and amazing! We were given mud to put on our face and get a mini facial from the natural springs and the mud in the area. Our guide also brought fresh pineapple and amazing homemade juice! If you go on the tour make sure you save room for the juice! It was so tasty! After the springs we dried up and were taken for a casado or typical Costa Rican lunch! I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone as it’s one of a kind!

Relaxing day

This was a relaxing experience with fun sliding down the river. We had the hot springs to ourselves for a group of 8. Our guides were amazing. Mel is from the area and shared a lot of information and background.

Our guide provided pineapple, water and juice and towels. If you are unsure you should bring a towel. Some rocks can be slippery down to the river so plan accordingly. There is a bathroom for changing if you need to change into / out of your bathing suit. Our guide Mel was very informative and friendly and made us feel very comfortable! The springs are HOT but they were warm and nice and relaxing.

Amazing Experience and Wonderful Guides

We had an amazing experience with Tony and Henry on our Hot Springs adventure. They explained the local history, plant and wildlife - they even had us get out of the car a few times to check out particular plants and animals! The hot springs and mud bath were so relaxing, and then we had lunch after, which may have been the best part. We were served by a local woman who cooked for us while we were at her house! Finally, Tony and Henry care so much about the locals living in the jungle - they look after and help the local children with school supplies, uniforms and various different things needed throughout the year. Not only was it an amazing tour, but we are also helping remote jungle communities at the same time.

We loved doing the hot springs tour. Our guide was awesome and the hot springs were breathtaking. We loved jumping into the river and sliding down the rock slides. It was a relaxing and great day. Would highly recommend.

My family of six had an excellent time with Damian on the Hot Springs tour. We loved the refreshing river swim and the relaxing hot springs. Damian was super knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. He took us to a great restaurant and even helped us do some shopping with the locals. Highly recommended!!

Better than the pictures

This tour was gorgeous and everyone who visits Manuel Antonio should do it. The hot springs were beautiful, so secluded, and it looks like something you would see out of a movie. There is a river you can swim in to cool off and rocks you can tan on. Its a great tour if your looking to get away from the beach for a bit as well. Our tour guide, Mel, was amazing and I would highly recommend this tour!!

Our hot spring adventure was one of our favorite parts of Costa Rica! Our tour guide Damian was right on time, courteous, knowledge and he made it feel like we were finding the secret treasures of Costa Rica! He was awesome! The hot springs were awesome! Once in a lifetime excursion

We had an excursion guide named Mel. He was a fantastic guy and the car ride to the hot springs was an awesome experience. When we got there it was as advertised, there was like 5-6 thermal pools and a really nice river. It’s totally worth the money. Thank you Mel, that excursion was awesome and, I’d highly recommend this to everybody!

Fun tour

This is an interesting tour. It really is in the back country but the area is beautiful. Be sure to do the rock slide in the river. My daughter and I did it 3 times.
