Situated between Cairns and Port Douglas, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is an award-winning eco-park and working crocodile farm dedicated to educating visitors about local wildlife. Travel by coach to the park after pickup at your Cairns, Palm Cove, or Northern Beaches hotel.
When you arrive, enjoy several hours of free time to explore the park’s five different ecological zones at your leisure. Take a narrated boat tour through wetlands, where you might spot some of the 19 resident saltwater crocodiles lounging in the sun. Stroll along the Cassowary Walk to observe these fascinating flightless birds, and admire an array of other native species like koalas, turtles, snakes, and lizards from a series of elevated boardwalks.

It was a great afternoon. The park is amazing with Crocodile Attack show the best. Tom was awesome! And Hagrid the star!
Well laid out sections to various animal habitats. Informative and not cheesy. Love the croc show and learned more about these animals. Nice way to spend a few hours. Got there at 1:00 and stayed til they closed and we saw everything.
Such a fun experience! Lots of interesring animal facts and fun creatures! Easy pickup/drop-off and a half day is a perfect amount of time!
Hartley's Crocodile Adventure is great, you should definitely go for it. But not with this company (Down Under Travels)
The tour guide/bus driver said that he'll be back to pick us up at 4:30 and leave at 4:45.
We were at the gate at exactly 4:36, and he had already left without us!
There was no phone reception at Hartley's and there was no way to book an Uber or get back to the city! I checked with the reception at Hartley's, and they said that usually Down Under Tours is there by 4:45, but today they already left!
Luckily they helped me return with another company, but this is extremely poor service from Down Under.

Amazing experience! Loved the boat ride, our caption Jake was too funny and made it a memorable experience, saw crocodile feeding on the cruise.
The bus driver gave good commentary as well and very informative.
Take your time and visit more than once, there is much to see and experience. Loved our lady croc wrangler!!
Tour timing means you do miss a couple of show/events that are only on earlier in the day. Other than that it was a good experience.
Sam, our bus driver was very knowledgeable and gave us really good info but didn’t overdo it. He made the trip a lot better. Took a while to get out to the experience with all the stops but definitely worth doing
Great experience. The half day tour was perfect, easy pace, plenty of shows incl transfers is all you need. My kids made sure to hit every part of the park, at the end we had just enough time to go back and visit our fave enclosures before closing. The staff and layout of the park make the the experience even better.
My partner and I paid $130 for this.
If you booked straight through Harley’s crocodiles it’s only $50, this includes the boat ride as well.
Definitely do not recommend booking in through this.

One of my most memorable adventures in Cairns. Tania, the photographer was so kind and professional. She helped me hold a croc for the 1st time. The big crocodile show was awesome. Everything was awesome. Don't miss it!
A very well run place. The staff is great. The facilities were great. Overall…..just great. It is a must see.
We spent the afternoon at Hartley's and had a wonderful time. The shows are fantastic and you learn so much. The park is easy to navigate and you see all kinds of Australian wildlife!
Great for teenage kids everyone had a great day. Both my kids have it a 10/10 which for teenagers is a rarity

We booked this trip through the Viator App and the whole booking process was easy to follow with subsequent communications being excellent. The trip was very good with the bus driver communicating the days schedule very well and the activities in the park being excellent, the boat trip and crocodile show were particularly good and were must do things in the park. If you want to get pretty close to crocodiles and see them in action, this is a must do trip and I would highly recommend it to anybody.

Wow amazing trip seeing these Apex predators in action was unbelievable. The boat tour and the shows leave your hairs standing on end. A trip well worth doing with very knowledgeable staff all around the parking sharing valuable knowledge and information.
The crocodile boat tour was a little underwhelming. The highlight of the park was the birds of prey enclosure, the owls were so beautiful.

The experience overall was very good. The facility and grounds are well maintained, clean, and staffed well. We did not appreciate arriving and finding everything on that Sunday had a 10% surcharge due to it being Easter. Quite unprofessional, guests only found out after they had payed for the experience — in our case several weeks in advance. We arrived saw the sign — any drink, snack, food product, souvenir, or photo, had a 10% ad-on…. Really?
Yes, frustrating, but the overall experience was still good and worth the original free (not sure about the 10% surcharge, however). Good for family and any age group. Warning: the farm is not exactly clearly laid out — we missed some things that were available in spite of having a map of the “farm’s” lay out — could have been solved with a bit of education after we received tickets to go in..
The tour is well organized and straightforward . However the group is pretty big so many pick up and drop off points which takes quite long. The crocodile attack show is amazing and the priority cruise is a great experience.
The park is not big, so you will have enough time to visit the park in between shows, even if ypu're there for just an afternoon.

I loved the boat tour with the crocodiles and petting zoo area with kangaroos!! I highly recommended this tour.
Great day at Hartleys. 4 hours was more than enough for adults. Kids probably need the whole day to take in all the presentations. The koalas slept and the kangaroos were so cute. We loved that they were not caged and you could pet them. Our driver was great….. offered lots of sightseeing on the way and kept us safe. Definitely worth it!
In the afternoon 1 hour top would be enough. For us it was better boring.
If you don't arrive in the morning, you miss many of the scheduled programs start hourly.

The activity claimed to start at 11:45 but actually, we only arrived at Harley's around 13:15. The departure time is 16:45 which left us not much time exploring the park after the boat ride and croc attack show. It would be good if pick up can start earlier.
It’s was enjoyable, the bus host was very knowledgeable and the lagoon boat ride was the best full of knowledge and funny
