It is about a 50 minute drive from CBD of Cairns to get to Harley's. They have programs throughout the day which are interesting. You can get your picture taken with a koala and for 15 dollars you get to feed the fresh water crocodiles with a long bamboo pole and a piece of chicken attached by a string, two times. Hartley's has a good selection of Australian animals, you can also feed kangaroos as well. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone who likes animals.

Good place to see crocs in a reasonably natural habbit. They were awake and alert. Good food and drink available. Good facilities. Pleasant staff. Good sealed walking tracks. Can also see koalas and kangaroos. Good signage.

This was a wonderful up close experience with many of the Australian animals. The crocodile farm was also very interesting. The environment was very nice with enough to see to take up a few hours, but not overwhelmingly large. We got to see everything.

The driver did a great job of accommodating our needs and getting us to our activity on time. The park was a lot of fun and as we arrived a bit later in the day, we were able to see most of the park with very little traffic. Even got to pet a kanagaroo!!

It was just OK. Very commercial. Also, for some reason, our driver had us at a different pick up point than where we were told to go. Fortunately, some nice person at our pickup point made a phone call for us and they were able to contact Harley’s who sent the bus for us. Would definitely recommend the wildlife habitat in Port Douglas over this one if you have to make a choice.

A fun day with lots of shows and presentations to pass the time away. The. Crocodile boat trip was fun and informative. Crocodile feeding was fun to watch and handlers put on a good show. Fully equipped cafe on site which was reasonably priced.

Good and very informative shows.
The "Crocodile Adventure" is from my point of view misleading. We expected a river tour where we would spot the crocs ins nature. But this was not the case here. Hartley is a park or zoo. It is well done but not what we expected. So if you expect a river tour an spotting some crocs in wilde live book an other tour. i.e. Whitsunday Crocodile Safari.

Love Hartley's - have been there many times and it has so much to see and do. We booked with Viator because this time we didn't have a car and opted for the transfers from Cairns. However, next time I would book direct with the company, which also offers transfers, as I would have saved over $50.

Was a great day but we could not see the Croc Feeding Show as all viewing areas were overflowing, possibly due to the large crowd during School holidays

Do not book this tour through Viator if you are doing a self drive. We paid $118 per adult and at the centre it is $45 that you can just pay at the door for the exact same experience. When I reached out to customer service they said the tickets are a fixed price of $80 then when I said I paid $118 per ticket they said they used the wrong currency?? A total rip off if you are doing a self drive.

Advised operator that we would be travelling from Port Douglas, they suggested we met the trip at the park. We did this and paid £120 for the trip only to be given a park entry ticket that would have cost me £50 to buy on the gate

We love the Hartley crocodile experience. The three star is for the hotel pick up service. We got picked by 8:20 am and told return is going to be 1:30pm. To whom ever organised these time: it is a 45 minutes drive, by the time bus arrived at Hartlley’s, it is already passed 9am, which people would miss the 9am Cassowary Feeding and Crocodile Farm show. The leaving time is even more ridiculous, 1:30pm, it will not give you enough time to finish the 1pm Crocodile Farm show started at 1pm, you won’t have enough time to enjoy the Crocodile pie from the Cafe; you will even have NO chance at all to make the 3pm Crocodile Attack Show. Because we have to make our way back at 1:30pm! Spent almost few hundreds $$ for the day (two adults and two kids) and was rushed out of the park. It was a shame. I would tell all my friends to hire a car or call Uber there. Because that way, you get to see what you have paid for and enjoy your time there. Not to be rushed and miss out on activities.

Great 1/2 day at Hartleys crocodiles . Very interesting & lots of reptiles to see. The snake show was good seeing 2 different types of snake out of their surroundings . The crocodile show was fantastic with a very brave lady taking the lead & showing us how ferocious the cricket was . All in all a great 1/2 day trip !

The park is worth a half day tour. The driver from the bus company had an attitude. We asked him what time will we arrive at the park and the answer was “you have a problem? If I explain to you you now I need to explain to everyone that get on the bus later.”

We were 11 people with 3 families and actial price was 45$ per adult and 22.5 for kids at the gate and Viator charges 112$ per adult and 56 for kids. which is too expensive and unreasonable.
