Overview

Head out on a classic Queenslander fishing trip to catch your own Barramundi. On this 1 hour fishing trip, you will explore the tropical location of the Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm, and learn how to catch a fish that’s a favorite and famous local cuisine. At Hook-A-Barra you can also learn about the fish and its behavior in special viewing tanks, so if you’re not into fishing, you can still see Barramundi up close.

Had a really good time. Very helpful and very informative about Barramundi. We all caught Barra and all caught a trophies fish. Steve was an awesome bloke.

Great bunch of people and very helpful staff, any rod problems were quickly fixed so no time wasted, myself and 2 boys all caught fish and a few that got away

We had the best fun we caught so many in there smaller fish pond . I hooked 3 big ones in the big pond but only landed one , the fight was fantastic he was 78cm catch and release. We had the best time would definitely recommend it

I highly recommend this place for a bit of fun. We caught 3 good sized fish. It’s a great place for kids to attend and get into fishing. Next time I go to Cairns my kids will be with me and we will definitely take them there.
