Pick-up times may vary depending on the hotel where you are staying for the day of the experience, your pick-up time will be confirmed at the time of booking. In the Uvero Alto area we have a minimum pick-up for 4 people. Hours are from 9:35AM to 11:30AM On Wednesdays the tasting will only be available in the afternoon. Pickup from your hotel will depend on your location, hours can vary from 2 : 00 PM to 3 : 15 PM.

I have done many whiskey tastings but never a rum tasting. I LOVED this, our guide Felix was very informative and walked us through the history of the rum and the nuances of what we were trying. From last looking, smelling, tasting, and tasking with different foods wit was perfect. The shop has rum, coffee, cocoa, and may other gifts for purchase. Felix allowed us to shop with no pressure to buy but was available to answer all questions. I would recommend this 110%

We enjoyed the rum tasting but it would have been better if there was more than us two rum tasting. This was a bit of a let down.
The rum was really good, with the cheese, grapes, chocolate.

We had the best time on this excursion. Our driver picked us up and safely transported us to Taino where our rum expert taught us so much and had us taste 4 magnificent rums along with cheese, grapes, and chocolate. I love that there was no high pressure sales tactics by anyone. They let you know what is available and it is then all up to you. Very refreshing!
As soon as it was over it took maybe 8-10 minutes for our return driver to pick us up. I definitely recommend this!

Very nice and informative tour! The gentleman was friendly. We got to sample som rum with a little fruit, chocolate and honey.

The Rum Tasting Experience was really good! Ride was smooth, had AC, and music. The atmosphere was pleasant, the room was decorated very nicely and the presentation was very insightful. The instructor was knowledgeable, the rum was strong lol (wine lady here), but good! I enjoyed it! I would recommend.

What an amazing experience from the presentation to the tastings. The chocolate was amazing along with the pairings which included cheese and macadamia nuts. The rum was magnificent learning the proper way to drink them was my favorite. So much shopping can be done as well for a reasonable price 10/10 would recommend again!!!

This was my husband and I’s second time doing this tour. We went in 2023 with friends and had to come back again so our family could also experience it. We ended up having the same guide as last year, Wendell. He is extremely knowledgeable of the rum and how it’s made. We always have lots of laughs with him and he truly makes us feel like we’re familia when we’re there. Not only do you get to try rum, but there is are mini tastings of their chocolate and coffee as well. The shop this experience is located in is very cute with great prices for buying unique gifts for your home or loved ones back home. We highly recommend this experience!

The bus was in rough condition and I got slightly motion sick, which rarely happens. We were taken back and thought we had gotten on the wrong tour when we were given a tour of a souvenir shop. Turns out some of those picked up along the way were shopping, and the tour was at the back of the store. The actual tour and tasting was just under an hour long. Wendel is very knowledgeable and helpful providing great information. If you are a lightweight like me, you will be grateful you aren't driving, but it was an interesting experience.
