To be honest, I’m not certain that I’m the target audience for this event because in my opinion it was not good at all. other people were catered to more than others. I wasn’t one of the people that the crew wanted to check on and bring drinks to or make sure I was okay. They paid attention to the other group. In the end they wanted tips and I always tip when I receive great service but I could hardly claim being a recipient of services. The recipients of services were not great tippers. The music choices weren’t so bad. However, they did not curate a playlist, they just let the majority group pick and choose songs. No Afro beats, no soca, no reggae, just twerk songs and gun fire music. Dont get me wrong, I can and will dance to anything but for the long term, NO! They should have had better organization and control of the situation. By the way, the included “snack” is just fruits on toothpicks. We had pineapple, watermelon, and cantaloupe. We did NOT snorkel, and we did NOT get to use the slide. The event began closer to 3pm and ended before 5:30.

The drive from Secrets...

The drive from Secrets Tides is about 1 1/2 hour by the time you get to the boat. Once we got there sat on beach for a couple hours finally hit the water at 3 pm supposed to leave at 130 pm. The crew were great had good time but plan on a full day

Horrible experience

I wanted to share my disappointment regarding the recent experience, as it fell well below expectations for a paid event. Upon arrival, we were forced to walk through deep water filled with seaweed just to access the boat — which was not only unpleasant but also unsanitary. The drink options were extremely limited. There was only one type of liquor (rum), and the rest of the drinks were heavily watered down. The music constantly cut out and even included ads, which really killed the vibe and made the event feel unprofessional. Communication throughout the experience was terrible. We were never informed that wristbands were required, and the staff didn’t have any notes or clarity on it. The boat departed 30 minutes later than scheduled, causing unnecessary delays. Most frustratingly, I received zero information about where to go or where the boat would be until I personally reached out — something that should’ve been clearly communicated in advance. The event ticket included pickup, yet we were never picked up. Because of that, we ended up having to spend an additional $200 on transportation out of pocket. All of these issues combined made for a frustrating and disappointing experience that did not align with what was promised. I hope this is taken seriously and addressed moving forward.

First, regarding transportation — one of our team members spoke with you prior to the event and explained that we do not provide pickup from your hotel, as it is not included in our service area. At that time, we offered you the option to cancel the tour or arrange your own transportation. You chose to proceed and covered your transportation costs independently, which we respect but want to be transparent about for future guests. The boat’s scheduled start time is 2:45 PM; however, we list 1:30 PM as the pickup time for guests staying at different locations to ensure everyone arrives on time. We apologize for any confusion that may have caused. Regarding the access to the boat, we understand that weather and seaweed conditions can vary, which may have impacted your boarding experience. While this is unfortunately beyond our control, we always aim to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. In terms of drinks and music, we will review your concerns with our onboard team.
