The tour operator messaged us 3 hours before pickup that it was too windy and dangerous that day. Unfortunately, we had other things already planned the rest of our stay and we were unable to reschedule. The operator promptly returned our money. I will reschedule next visit

Great experience. Keep in mind its dependent on wind conditions so you may not go out at the same time you get to the beach but once you are out there, its really awesome. Love it!

DONT BOOK THIS ACTIVITY SCAM THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT REACH OUT ABOUT THE RESERVATION. I HAD TO REACH OUT TO SEE IF THEY WERE PICKING UP AS IT SAID IN THE DESCRIPTION 3 hours before and they told me is it okay to reschedule due to weather never heard back from them since. DO NOT BOOK you’ll waste ur money and have to fight to get back I should’ve trusted the other views about this place

Pickup at the hotel was convenient. It was around a 30 minute ride. The boat ride was a little choppy if you have motion sickness.

We waited an hour to get picked up and that only happened after I demanded a full refund if we weren't on a boat in 5 minutes. We were shuttled out to the main boat in a small power boat. We were transferred to the main boat while it was towing someone in a parasail. It was a high speed transfer. Each couple got 5 minutes in air. Then we were transferred off again to the little power boat while others were transferred on. The 5 minute experience in the air was nice but definitely not worth the cost.

This by far was the worst experience I've ever had parasailing. We purchased online but I guess they were selling on the beach as well. They picked up like 7 people from the beach and they finally take us to the parasailing boat. They then begin to load us on while trying to get people off of the parasailing boat which was scary. The boat was rocking roughly on the water and every one had not even gone up to parasail yet. Once we were on they took 2 people up in the air but they didn't go that high and all of sudden they drop the people in the water! The parachute got wet and we never saw the people again. I immediately demanded to get off of that boat and be taken back to shore. Come to find out the boat was too heavy from picking up too MANY PEOPLE and on top of that the boat was running out of fuel. I don't think I will ever parasail again. This was a very traumatic experience for me and my family!

The most memorable thing was that you canceled it due to weather and you told me I was going to get a full refund, but you gave me a partial refund and then fought me about it. You made it ridiculously hard to deal with you. Also, there’s a language barrier and service was anything but speedy.

The excursion was cancelled due weather, you get full refund, I have evidence of that! on top of that you are capable of commenting badly and leaving only 1 star without have done the excursion, you should be more aware and human because it was not our fault, on the contrary, for your safety the excursion was cancelled, there was a storm, we cannot control the weather.

There was nothing memorable about this trip. It was an absolute disaster. You should be ashamed to be doing business with such a local operator. They were late, picking us up at the hotel and then lied about it. They were also late with the excursion starting. The crewmembers were yelling at each other and swearing because only one of the four boats was working. The boat we were on, had black smoke coming out of the motors. It was an absolute disgrace of an excursion. I have demanded a full refund!

Our party was my 15 yo daughter and myself. We were picked up at our hotel, but outside the security gates. The driver was not allowed to access the hotel driveway. That should have been my first warning. We had to locate someone to take us down to the gate in a golf cart, as it was unsafe to walk. The driver was not in a company van as I would have expected - it was a private car. It was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. We were driven to a shop, where the driver parked on the side of the street, he told us to “ wait please”, and he went in. A few minutes later, he came out and we continued on. No idea what that was all about. A few minutes after that, we stopped to pick up a young woman dressed in club wear (at 2pm). I thought she was a “working girl” and I was now pretty concerned. They seemed to know each other, but spoke rapid Spanish, and my high school level language comprehension couldn’t keep up. My daughter was convinced we were about to be trafficked. We were then driven to a sketchy looking local beach. We were dropped off outside and led through a dim alleyway past various gift shops. This area smelled like an open sewer and there were several stray dogs roaming around. They were NOT friendly. The beach was treacherous to walk on with the mounds of sargassum. Once we were finally on the parasail boat, we had a great time. All 20 minutes of it. Back at the beach, we were led to a little gift shop, and the high pressure to buy something started. We are not buying souvenirs, and I told the host this. The friendliness level went way down after this. Finally, while we were driven back to the hotel, our driver (same car) was pulled over for an unregistered vehicle infraction (high school Spanish coming in clutch!).
I’m giving 2 stars only because the parasailing itself was a lot of fun. Everything else was dirty, unsafe, scary and overpriced. I can’t believe I paid over $150 for this.

It was a very good excursion. My only suggestion was to have someone on the boat to take pictures while we were in the air. No one would have believed I was up there if it wasn’t for someone on the excursion with us that took the pictures for us. That’s a MUST!

It was cool for my first time but being advertised 25 minutes and only being in the air for 5 minutes was a bummer. Our taxi had no clue where he was going and we didn't start until an hour after our reservation. After, we were left on the beach for 30 minutes waiting for a guide to bring us back and call our driver. We paid $25 for pictures, still haven't received them and it's been a few hours, still waiting. After paying $25 for pictures and $160 for 2 people for 5 minutes they still wanted a tip... If I were to do parasailing again, I'd book with a different company. The only thing I was happy about was it being my first time and I was mesmerized, other than that it wasn't worth close to $200 for a 5 minutes.

I researched several companies to do a parasailing excursion and picked this one specifically because it advertised 30 minutes in the air. I booked it even though it was a little more expensive than other vendors for this reason. Communication about the pick up time at the resort was difficult. I tried to message through the app but no one answered my question. I had to have the front desk at my resort call on my behalf to get the details. Then those details changed by an hour with only a hour notice. Very frustrating. Before going up in the air I reminded the driver “30 minutes” and he agreed. We were only in the air for 10 minutes total. When we came back to the boat I said it was only 10 minutes and the crew just nodded and said “yes, 10 minutes”. They quickly shuffled us off the boat and back to the beach. Very disappointing. Overall, there is nothing special about this excursion. Next time we will go through our resort for half the price.

I looked at several parasailing excursions. The reason why I choose this one was because it advertised to parasail for 30 minutes while some of the others only said 15 minutes. We were shuttled to the parasailing boat with a little boat. We were probably up in the air about 10-15 minutes instead of 30. The boat didn’t move much because they were shuttling people on and off the boat. The one good thing was we were scheduled to parasail at 11. There were dark clouds so they said they couldn’t go but then we went at 1 when it cleared up.

We were scammed. We booked a 30 minute parasailing trip. Only got 5 minutes. Everyone beware and avoid this activity. Viator app also refused a refund.

We are sorry that you do not like it, but it is logical that what was mentioned is totally false, since there is no way that this excursion can be done in 5 minutes, the minimum flight time is 25 minutes and in other cases the excursion lasts a little more than that time. Not counting the transportation time from your hotel to the beach where we do the excursion.
