The doctor fish nibbling on my feet tickled but was fun. The yoga was very relaxing as was the massage. The foot detox was fascinating. Everything and everyone was top notch. Highly recommend.

A Heavenly Day at Sea with Dr. Fish Ocean Spa

Our day with Dr. Fish Ocean Spa was nothing short of magical. Pedro, our multilingual host, was absolutely perfect—welcoming, attentive, and ensured everyone had a memorable time. The experience began with Garra Rufa fish therapy, a fun and ticklish way to start the day that left our feet feeling super soft. Once onboard, we eased into a calming Bio Pilates session that truly set the tone for the rest of the day. One of the highlights was lounging on the heavenly floating loungers—a surreal and peaceful moment that made it easy to forget the rest of the world. As we enjoyed a light, delicious lunch and wine, we were treated to views of trained dolphins at the adjacent dolphin and stingray encounter area. While we didn’t participate in the encounter, watching the dolphins perform was a unique treat. The massages onboard—head, back, and foot—were divine, melting away any stress. Add to that the serene cruise along Bávaro Beach, stunning coastal views, and the relaxing ambiance of the spacious boat, and it all felt like a slice of paradise. This tour is perfect for anyone seeking a blend of relaxation, unique experiences, and breathtaking scenery. If you’re in Punta Cana, it’s an absolute must-do!

Booking tour company was a horrible joke. I will never use them again.

The spa trip itself was wonderful. The booking company was horrible. My transportation never showed up and getting hold of someone to get to the boat was impossible. When my group arrived to the boat some of our reservations had been cancelled without us being notified. The boat was overbooked.

I loved this tour. Unfortunately when I went it was pouring and so it wasn't the absolute best but when mother nature throws a fit, you have no choice. Lol Even though we were stretching in the rain, no one complained and we were all even laughing about it. The massage was great and although I had the cubicle that allowed the rain to dump on my head, I was in punta cana so it didn't matter. Lmao! We also ate a really good chicken and couscous lunch at a restaurant in the middle of the ocean. Definitely unique and the ruffa fish went nuts over my feet. I know that the fish treatment is illegal in a lot of states here in the US because of the potential for fungus spreading but my thoughts are that you are walking all over Punta Cana in your bare feet anyhow so if I'm going to catch something, it's bound to happen anyway. Staff were excellent and very kind. I would do this again on a clear day.
