Driver didn't show up

Puno Tour, the company for our transfer is the worst. The driver did not show up for our tranfer to the airport, the comoany did not provide the driver details. And responded only 1hour after the agreed pick up time with some lame excuse. Cannot imagine more stressful situation.

A failed airport transfer is one of the most serious incidents a traveler can face, and we fully understand how distressing that moment must have been. After reviewing the case internally, we confirm the following: Your arrival transfer (Juliaca Airport → Puno) was carried out without incident. The problem occurred with your departure transfer (Puno → Juliaca Airport). While we maintained the agreed-upon special rate, the pickup time was neither confirmed nor formally registered. Our team requested the time, but we did not receive your final confirmation, and therefore the service was not provided correctly. Consequently, you were not sent the driver's name or vehicle details, as was done for your arrival transfer. Furthermore, our response was delayed, and the message we sent did not meet the professional standard we must maintain. We take responsibility for the lack of coordination and the communication delay. To rectify the situation as responsibly as possible: We offered to cover 100% of the cost of the alternative transportation you had to arrange to get to the airport. Additionally, we offered you a complimentary transfer to another destination in Peru as a gesture of goodwill. However, despite our follow-up messages, we did not receive a final response to confirm the details and finalize this complimentary service. We are not sharing this information to question your experience (your frustration is entirely valid), but rather to be clear with other travelers: this was a specific coordination and confirmation failure, and once identified, we took responsibility by covering the cost of the transfer you had to take. As a corrective measure, we have reinforced our operating procedures: Mandatory written confirmation of the pickup time before dispatching the service (no exceptions). Advance submission of driver and vehicle information (name, phone number, and license plate). Convenient, quick transportation to the airport. My only note would be that the driver was about 5 minutes late, which was a bit stressful considering I had a very tight window to catch my flight.
