If you truly want to learn how to surf then book this experience ASAP. I thought I was going to simply jump on the board and have instructions yelled at me. Instead my instructor was extremely knowledgeable and could articulate himself in a manner that was easy to digest ALLLL the information he was downloading into my brain. I will definitely book another lesson when I visit again !

Excellent surf lesson with Emilian. Good communication through WhatsApp. He picked us up and then drove us 45 minutes to Nuevo Vallarta to the surf shop. We were able to leave our belongings there before walking a short distance to the beach. Emilian taught us the basics of surfing and also did an excellent job explaining what kinds of waves to look for and to look for the pocket of the wave to get the most power. I’ve had several surf lessons before and I can say that he has taught me the most about surfing. Afterwards we all enjoyed lunch (not included) at a restaurant nearby.

Emilian was an amazing teacher. We learned so much more than I expected given that it was our first time. My 13 yo son was doing a 360 on his board before our lesson was over. I would recommend this experience to anyone! Hands down so much fun and I'm so glad I participated in the lesson!

Great experience. Emilian was patient and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend. After surfing, we stopped for fish tacos and a beer and it was the perfect way to wrap up the day

Had a great day with my daughters, 9 and 10 on this surf excursion. Instructors were friendly, patient, and flexible. My mom also came but she just "observed" which had separate fee due to space in the car. Our instructor picked us up by the cruise terminal and we drove about 40 minutes to Punta de Mita. We did a brief lesson on land and then out to waves, we all got up on our first try - boards are super easy. Walking into the water was tough because there are some big and sharp rocks but the instructors were careful with safety warnings. My daughters are very strong, and are strong swimmers so i felt comfortable. We did not surf very long because it was tiring but after we finished we had lunch at a spot on the beach and enjoyed the day. really beautiful spot. On the way back the ride took about an hour because of traffic but well worth it.

Hi, im glad you had fun, we are dealing with an element that is in constant change, so we try to pick the best beach to surf for your level and the conditions of the ocean for that specific day. Sometimes we can take you to a sandy bottom but sometimes the rock bottom beaches have better and longer waves. We try to customize the surf trip so that the surf is the most optimal. I was absolutely blown away by this surf instructor's effort to show me a good time with both the surf and the town. Jonathan was absolutely amazing and he even took me to the locals place where I could do more intermediate surfing even though it was slightly out of my comfort zone I did great!! The instructors were awesome. They were super knowledgeable, helpful and fun. My wife and I have never surfed before and were able to catch a ton waves! One of our favorite days in Puerto Vallarta.
