Itinerary
After pickup from your Providenciales hotel—make your own way to the meeting point in Leeward Settlement if you’re staying elsewhere—join your guide and your group of maximum eight travelers and board your transparent kayaks.
Follow your guide through the calm, clear waters, getting a snorkeler’s eye view of the mangrove estuaries and the marine life that call them home. Your guide helps you spot the likes of conch, groupers, stingrays, sea turtles, baby sharks, jellyfish, and more.
You have more than an hour on the water, capturing photos and marveling at marine life, before returning to the meeting point and, from there, to your hotel.

We travelled with family and friends and we t in the tour together, so there was 6 of us. Our tour guide was Mikey and he was awesome. Super knowledgeable and fun. We learned a lot and saw a ton. It was a beautiful day and we felt very taken care of.

So much fun. Baby and big turtles, Jack the baracutta, conch shells, and Robert was the best guide. Always a good time on the water and this was a must do experience. It’s was a 10!

It is a physical experience. We are kayakers but for those who are not should understand that paddling can be strenuous. Some folks had difficulty getting in and out of their kayaks. Also, these are tandem kayaks (not singles). Water shoes are recommended over sandals or sneakers. Our guide was great. He was respectful of the group and of the environment. Very knowledgeable.

It was fine. They did what they said they would do. Too many groups with too many people all trying to do the same thing. A bit of a traffic jam. Saw some turtles, a stingray from a distance, but couldn’t hear guide well enough or move fast enough to see much of anything else. I wouldn’t go again or really recommend.

Wonderful morning spent exploring the mangroves. Our guide was amazing - helpful, knowledgeable and caring. He loved what he did and clearly proud of his island! Shared so many fun and wonderful facts. Saw many turtles, jelly fish and even found us a rare sighting of the lemon shark! An amazing experience!

What an Amazing time! My son lost count after hitting 25 sea turtles in the mangroves. Gorgeous blue water and out guide Mikey was a wealth of knowledge. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

We did the mangroves kayaking excursion and absolutely loved it. Shout out to our tour guide, Mikey, who was fantastic - super knowledgeable, made everything feel fun and relaxed, and really brought the experience to life. He made sure we saw some amazing wildlife, including turtles, stingrays, jellyfish, conchs, and even a lemon shark.
I couldn’t recommend this excursion more. The highlight for me was definitely seeing the turtles - they are insanely cute.

I expected a leisurely paddle through the mangroves, but instead we paddled hard against the current so we could float back to the mangroves. Saw turtles briefly, but mostly just their shadows or their heads when they popped up. One quick sighting of a baby shark. Very disappointing trip and not worth the money

Our guide Daniel was wonderful. I only gave our tour three stars because the weather conditions were challenging. It was very windy and low tide so there were few marine life sightings. We saw multiple turtles, but it was choppy and we saw nothing from underneath the boat. No fish. We were experienced kayakers, and it was challenging for us with the wind conditions.

We saw sea turtles, lemon sharks, barracuda and jelly fish, all in their natural environment…including a few pelican flybys.
Robert (our guide), was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Mikey was fantastic tour guide. Explained the mangrove preserve and all the animals living in it with humor and jokes made our family of 7 have a wonderful time. Kayaking wasn’t that bad because they tow you out to the mangroves from the marina and back… that was rhe fun part just going out dor the ride. We saw Turtles, stingray, barracuda, then he found us a conch and bunch of jellyfishes. Beautiful clear waters.. an enjoyable day.

wonderful experience with our guide, Robert, who expertly managed to find some perfect, quiet spots to view turtles among the crowds. He maintained lots of knowledge of local wildlife which was fascinating. Best to have a little bit of kayaking experience (minimal works) or proficiency to learn on the spot, which is super easy. Would do this again to see the numerous turtles and beautiful mangroves again.

This was a gentle couple of hours kayaking (in two-person kayaks) around shallow water on a mangrove island near Leeward Settlement. Guests are towed out to the island by a small motor-boat. There's an up-close view of some expensive-looking yachts on the way out to the island. The launching arrangements were chaotic, with multiple tours and motor-boats all sharing the same small launch area. But once out on the island, it was calm and peaceful. Our guide Ben was delightful, and he went out of his way to show us as much as he could. The large turtles were the main attraction, and they didn't seem at all bothered by having tourists gawping at them.
Tips: You need to be reasonably agile to get in and out of the kayak. You WILL get wet, almost as soon as you sit down in the kayak, so wear swimwear and crocs (or similar). Carry as little 'stuff' with you as possible, and take a waterproof bag (although some are provided). It's a good idea to take a bottle of water as well.

This tour is a must! Very cool experience seeing the beautiful sea turtles right under your kayak and popping up right next to you for air. We got to see multiple turtles, a jellyfish, a live conch and a tiny lemon shark!

I felt it was rushed. And hard to maneuver those kayaks for first timers we met the trees a lot haha. Also, when there was wildlife to see we didn’t get the chance to get up to see because the tour guide was moving on already so that wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Regarding the pacing, we’d like to note that our tours are generally not rushed—in fact, they often run over the allotted time to allow guests to fully enjoy the experience. That said, we understand how it may have felt from your perspective, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We also understand your concern about wildlife viewing. While we always do our best to point out and approach wildlife when possible, sightings are unpredictable and unfortunately beyond our control.

Saw a lot of turtles, but not much else. There are far too many kayaks and people were constantly running into one another. Tour was supposed to last two hours. We got back an hour late and our taxi had left. Frustrating

As our tours take place in a shared natural area, there may be other groups present at times, which is unfortunately outside of our control. That said, we always aim to manage spacing and ensure a smooth experience for our guests.
We do acknowledge that the tour ran longer than expected, and we understand how this could have impacted your transportation. We recommend arranging taxis with some flexibility due to changing conditions such as tides and wildlife sightings, but we truly regret the inconvenience this caused.

Definitely worth it but come ready to get wet and bring water shoes for entry and exit from kayak. Mikey, our guide, did a great job taking care of us and pointing out the turtles and any life we saw as well as provided some background about the protected ecosystem of the mangroves.
Be ready to paddle a bit but not too much. All in all, a must do experience while in Providenciales
