Andy was an incredible guide for our mangrove kayaking tour! From start to finish, he made the experience both relaxing and exciting. He was extremely knowledgeable about the mangroves and took the time to explain the ecosystem, pointing out wildlife and sharing interesting facts about the area that we would have never noticed on our own. The tour itself was beautiful and peaceful, with calm waters and stunning scenery all around. Andy made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident, no matter their experience level, and kept the group engaged the entire time. His passion for nature and the island really came through, making the tour even more special.

They picked us up at our hotel - the guide was excellent we saw turtles galore - was a lot of fun - every -the guide (sorry for spelling )

Great excursion. Picked us up on time at our hotel and transported us to the marina for an easy launch. Our guide De was great and we saw lots of turtles, a baby lemon shark, sting ray, puffer fish, conch, a crab and a baracuda.

Sometimes there are only a few wildlife. The experience was still fun. Not too strenuous. Nice guide.

An incredible way to spend a couple hours! Our tour guide (Ted?) was great. We saw MANY turtles, puffer fish, conch and baby sharks (yes, we all sang the song). I would really recommend this tour!

The guides were great, only issue on our tour was the tide was going out so had to avoid some of the mangrove area and there wasn't much sea life to see other than some turtles. Really appreciated the group tow out to the mangroves! The water was great, got to see a different part of the island, high end yachts etc.

Fun and informative. Our guide Nick shared his knowledge of the habitat where we kayaked. Saw lots of turtles, a live conch and a few lemon sharks.

Slow paced kayaking through the mangroves, the water is so clear! You are guaranteed to see turtles, small sharks, and rays. The tour guide will go out of their own to ensure you have good sightings. Just do it!

Great communication planning the trip, Ted,TED, was a great tour guide. They offered to pick up and drop off at our VRBO included, which was wonderful. Four stars not five because there wasn’t any introduction to the activity, we were just put onto the clear bottom kayaks and asked to wait. A little bit of an introduction would’ve been great. The mangrove area gets fairly crowded with other boats… But it’s also crowded with lots of turtles so that did not disappoint! If deciding between a clear bottom boat and a regular kayak, my recommendation would be to go with the clear bottom so you can see the turtles pass under you! Thanks, Ted

Length can vary if guests are late to arrive and it is very windy. however, staff were very organized and once we were all together got things going quickly. Loved our guide Ted!

Ted, our tour guide, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. We saw several (more than a dozen) green sea turtles, and my wife got to hold a jellyfish.

Clear kayaking was so much fun! We got to see baby sharks, turtles, conch, jellyfish and more! Cheese was a great tour guide. We felt welcomed and safe throughout the entire two hr experience. I’d recommend and I’d definitely go back! Thank you cheese for taking care of us!

Kayaking was so much fun! It was very easy to do and everyone got a hang of it after a few minutes of bumper cars. Everything was perfectly organized.
Our tour guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of interesting facts about the red mangroves, the sea turtles, the conch, jellyfish, and sharks. We got to see all of these (except for the shark, which was out to lunch) up close.
They'll give you a dry bag for your stuff, but prepare to get your bottom wet while sitting in the kayak. I also recommend wearing a hat, sunglasses, long sleeves and sunscreen as you'll be in the hot sun for 2 hours. Be prepared for maximum enjoyment!

This experience was lots of fun! The amount of tour time was perfect. Two hours is all you needed. You can bring your own personal belongings and they provide a dry bag to put them in. You’re going in a steady speed paddling so you won’t fall behind and get to enjoy seeing the animals in the water. Remember to bring too camera for pictures and videos!

This clear-bottom kayak mangrove tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire experience fun, engaging, and just adventurous enough to feel exciting without being overwhelming.
We learned so much about the local ecosystem, including sea grass, turtles, and even upside-down jellyfish — seeing everything through the clear kayak was unreal. The mangroves were beautiful, peaceful, and full of life, and the guide did an amazing job pointing out things we never would have noticed on our own.
Whether you’re a first-timer or have kayaked before, this tour is well worth it. I highly recommend it to everyone — families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Don’t miss this experience!

Guides were knowledgeable about the area and brought us to the places filled with turtles- there was also a lot of down time which resulted in us just standing around in knee deep water with no other animals to see. For the price paid, I would’ve expected to not have 20 minutes of downtime, especially with the short duration of the tour in the first place.

Competent staff. Two big plusses = being towed across the channel to save energy and the abundance of critters in the mangroves. Big minus = poorly designed kayak seating. We were thrown way back when we should have been firmly supported in a strictly upright position.
