This was a perfect dream. Claudio was fabulous. Despite the swell, he was able to calmly and safely navigate us away from the rougher waters and took us to some of the most beautiful and quiet swimming areas. He was patient and happy to let us swim or float for however long we desired. He kindly offered Prosecco, some light snacks, and even showed us a tasty place to pick up our lunch before we climbed aboard. He even met us and dropped us off right at the port which was extremely helpful.
His boat is picturesque and meticulously cared for, having been in his family for decades. He clearly takes so much pride and it and seemed to genuinely enjoy sharing his love of the water with us. It was contagious!
It truly was a perfect day. My mother-in-law later described this as her “favorite day of vacation ever” !!! Highly recommend.

This might be Italy’s best kept secret! Claudio’s hospitality and his beautifully restored boat offered us the most exclusive and wonderful experience during our trip to Italy and the Mediterranean. If you want to escape the crowds and the heat, go to Isola Ponza and spend the day with Claudio. His professionalism, knowledge of the island, and hospitality was unparalleled. My three boys and I spent the day with Claudio, swimming in the pristine water, cliff jumping, exploring the various caves, beaches, and beautiful coastline around the entire island. Claudio provided lunch and drinks, towels, and a relaxed and fun atmosphere throughout the trip. He even made dinner reservations for us at a beautiful restaurant on the harbor at the end of the day. Honestly, skip the Amalfi Coast and Capri, and spend your time with Claudio and his beautiful Isola Ponza instead. It’s really worth it and you can’t get this kind of experience anywhere else. Thank you Claudio!
