When you book, select the departure point from Anzio, with round-trip ferry tickets, or Ponza, if you're already on the island (ferry tickets are not included). Then, meet your guide and fellow travelers at the port.
After a briefing on what’s ahead, board the public ferry for your crossing to beautiful Ponza. Soak in the views of the Tyrrhenian Sea during the comfortable journey, and after about 1.5 hours at sea, arrive in the picturesque port of Ponza.
Admire the prettily painted houses, cafes, and shops along the quayside, and enjoy a bit of free time to get to know this colorful little town. Then, step aboard your tour boat, along with other visitors and locals, and set off on your round-island cruise.
Settle on deck and drink in the scenery as you sail around this stunning island, admiring the coves, cliffs, and unusual rock formations of its rugged coast.
Along the way, your boat will make several stops for you to enjoy optional swims and snorkels. Bathe in the crystal waters, snorkel through grottoes to view Ponza’s marine life, or remain on deck, basking in the coastal breezes.
Hear local folk tales and legends from your skipper, a native Ponzan, as you cruise, and stop to savor a delicious picnic-style pasta lunch, freshly prepared and served on board, accompanied by table wine, bottled water, and espresso coffee.
After time on the water, return to Ponza port, and enjoy free time to stroll, shop, or enjoy a drink and snacks (own expense).
Finally, catch a return ferry to Anzio, where your trip finishes at the original departure location. Alternatively, if you’ve chosen the Ponza departure point, say goodbye to your group at the port and stay on the island.

- Anzio is located 1.10 hr train from Rome. We recommend taking the 6.40 AM train from Rome Termini Station.
- To fully enjoy this tour, we recommend you are comfortable with boat transportation and are able to swim.

- All minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- If you are traveling with a young child (0-12), please alert the staff at the time of your booking so that we can better accommodate you.

- Due to the unique nature of this tour, last minute cancellations due to traffic, strikes, minimum numbers and weather are a possibility. Call us the day before your visit to check on the status of your trip. If you are unable to call, and you do not hear from us, consider your trip confirmed.
- For all tours cancelled due to traffic, strikes or weather an alternative will be offered or a free change of date. Where neither are possible, a full refund will be offered.

Loved it from beginning to end. Lots of stops to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear water. Our Captain Vincenzo and Michele served us a delicious pasta lunch. And great way to see the beauty of the Island of Ponza!

Fantastisk dag med den sødeste og sjoveste guide! Turen var sammen med en større gruppe, så vær forberedt på dét! Gruppen var til gengæld allesammen i fantastisk humør, og alle snakkede hurtigt på tværs. Børn såvel som voksne legede sammen i vandet og vi havde sjov med udspringskonkurrencer fra toppen af båden! Book snorkel og maske, det er det hele værd! Fantastiske syn og meget liv under vandet!
Frokosten var lækker, tilberedt af den søde kaptajn og hans hjælper Marco. Begge 2 meget venlige og gæstfrie, og super opmærksomme på, om vi manglede noget eller ville have en portion mere.
Det eneste minus er, at alle de spændende og interessante fortællinger fra guiden om øen undervejs, ikke kunne forstås, fordi højtaleren på båden var/er så ringe. Men vi føler ikke, at vi gik derfra uden at mangle noget!
Alt i alt er turen alle pengene værd! Vi fik endda en ny ven fra Canada!
