Our excursion got canceled due to windy weather which is completely out of anyone’s control. But I was never notified of the cancellation until after multiple calls to the driver after waiting almost an hour to be picked up from hotel. Granted we did get a full refund but the inconvenience and lack of communication definitely has presented hesitation in recommending this excursion to other people. The driver stated they were notified of the port closure in the morning but no one reached out to advise me but the day before the driver was in constant communication about reminding all of my guests of the additional $20 dock fee.

You were informed right after the marina gave the notice about the port being closed. You never answer your phone and when you decided to reach out, you did it from a different number which we did not had The day before the tour everything was confirmed, the sudden change in the weather is not the fault of the supplier or the driver

When we booked, we thought that one of the best advantages of this trip was the fact we got on the boat at Playa Del Carmen. What we were not told was it was 1 and a half hours fron the hotel to the boat in cancun! Once on the boat, it was literally 5 minutes until it snorkel time (no reef). Once back on the boat, the bar opened and plenty of drinks were offered and we were taken to what only can be described as a canteen buffet on Isla Muljeres, definitely not a beach club! Once back on board, we were taken to a shopping area for around 2 hours of shopping After shopping, it was back on board for the return trip to the port followed by an even longer 2 hour uncomfortable ride back, 11 hours later (we had to go straight to dinner as thr restaurant was closing 30 mins later) The best bit on this trip was the staff were brilliant, singing and dancing the whole time (Once the snorkeling was done) but apart from that, we didn't enjoy this trip.

Reading is an important skill to practice even as an adult. The description of the tour states that the Catamaran departures from Cancun. There are no Isla Mujeres boats that departure from Playa del Carmen due to the big distance between them. The description never mentioned anything about the catamaran being from Playa del Carmen, you made an asumption based on nothing. The transportation time, everything was described in the tour information but you didn't read it The snorkel does take place in a reef, and the beach club is indeed what it is advertised as. This is a party tour, the snorkel is just a side activity

The add for this is misleading, you would assume it’s a party boat that takes you directly over to the main harbor and you eat and have quite a few hours to explore, however the catamaran first stops for an hour for people to snorkel then takes a slow tour of the island before pulling into one stop that you eat at. They do give you an hour and a half there (includes time to eat) then you head to the main port where you are allowed an hour and a half to “explore “ the many venders/ beach. Before they take you back. If I knew all of that I would have just booked a seat on the ferry that goes direct to the island so I would have more than 2 hours combined on the island.

Everything that you described is in the tour description and details, there is nothing that you mentioned that wasn't clear from the beggining This is advertised as a party boat tour, there are mentions about the snorkel being included and the free time at the island. The description talks about the party at the Catamaran, meaning that the main tour is done during the Catamaran transportation while enjoying the party and drinks A ferry won't have unlimited drinks, it won't have music, it won't give you access to the local reef, there will be no staff that will attend your needs and no one. If what you wanted was hours at the Island with you taken care of yourself, then yes, a ferry would have been a better option since this is a party catamaran tour Reading is important for adults as us, it is important to avoid confusion or misunderstandings

A fantastic trip. A special note that our amazing guides made it very clear to us, on Isla Mujeres, that "No one here knows you. They are not your bartender from your hotel, or anything like that." If you've been down 5th, you know this ruse. It was so awesome of the guides to inform people though. Snorkeling was amazing, drinks and music were fantastic, and it was just a fantastic day.

Great Excursion not so great shuttle ride

The transportation to and from the excursion was the only part that made this less than 5 stars. The van's air conditioning was not the best and we were packed in tight. The return driver dropped everyone else off at their resort's lobby entrance while we were left on the side of the road at the front gate. The driver basically told us to get out. The catamaran to Isla Mujeres was fun and entertaining. The photographer was amazing and took some really good photos of the passengers. The host on the tour was fun and informative. Our instrumentalist was amazing and serenaded us for our anniversary shout-out. The tour gave us plenty of time to shop and explore. We got all the souvenirs we needed. The food at the beach club was good and tasty. There was plenty to go around. Overall it was an amazing trip.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us You were staying at a hotel with high security and they would not let us in at the resort, the resort itself has cars standing by at the entrance to take back customers to their respective lobbys (since your resort had more than 1). This boat was rocking from start to finish! The crew was amazing and well worth the large tip that I left. Music was playing, drinks were flowing, and everyone mingled well and had a GREAT TIME! The best part was that I did not have to keep getting up for drinks. The service was second to none. Best Day Ever!

Das kann man auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen! Wir hatten eine Englisch- Tour gebucht. Es wurde zu 80 % spanisch gesprochen und somit auf spanisch auch wichtige Sachen erklärt! Beim schnorcheln gab es nichts zu sehen und an den Haltepunkten wurde einfach gesagt wer nicht punktgenau wieder da ist egal wir fahren. Kein evtl. Verlaufen Tip oder Telefonnummer danke nie wieder dieses Touunternehmen !!!!!!!

Diese Tour wird auf Englisch und Spanisch durchgeführt. Die Reiseleiter stellen sicher, dass sie die Anweisungen mehrmals aufzeichnen, damit jeder sie kennt. Sie haben den englischen Anweisungen des Reiseführers keine Beachtung geschenkt. Wir können es nicht vermeiden, dass der Reiseleiter Spanisch spricht, da an dieser Tour Menschen aus allen Ländern teilnehmen Dies war keine Schnorcheltour, sondern eine Partytour mit einem kurzen Stopp zum Schnorcheln.
