Itinerary

Kick off your day at around 7am, when you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for the ancient archaeological site of Chichen Itza. The landmark is one of Mexico’s most popular attractions due to its status as a New7Wonder of the World.

During the 2-hour journey, your host serves a continental breakfast and offers unlimited access to soft drinks, beer, and water. Make a stop in the colonial city of Valladolid, home to historic architecture that denotes Spanish invasion, and then continue your route to Chichen Itza.

On arrival at the magnificent site, embark on a 1-hour tour with your guide: visit highlights such as the iconic Kukulcan Pyramid (El Castillo), the Temple of Warriors, and the Ball Court before exploring independently during free time.

Then, revitalize with a buffet lunch and two drinks before visiting the X-Cajum cenote for a refreshing dip. Your tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel in either Cancun or the Riviera Maya.

I should start off by saying this...

Suzanne L, May 2016
I should start off by saying this excursion came highly recommended by friends and family that had been previously. While we were picked up from our resort on time, we were left standing in the heat for over 10 minutes after touring Chichen Itza. We were told by our tour guides to be at the entrance/exit at a particular time to which they werent there. The breakfast was a ham sandwich that no one ate. The buffet lunch was good however, we ran out of bottle water on the way home which was unfortunateas it was crazy hot!! The bus was also small and crammed full of hot sweaty strangers. At the end of the trip, our tour guide gave us a long speech on tipping him which I thought was rude and inappropriate. If given the chance, Im not so sure Id do this excursion again or recommend it to others definitely some room for improvement.
