- Minimum age is 8 years for the Leaning Tower. 251 steps. Not recommended for people with heart issues.
- Dress code: to go inside the cathedral, back, shoulders and at least half thighs must be covered or entrance to the monument won’t be possible
- DiscoveryPisa offers a refund on cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your tour. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your tour will not be refunded.
- As stated above, we do not refund clients within 24 hours of a tour, and this includes customers who are late due to flight or train cancellations, delays or issues caused by traffic or congestion, Train or flight strike etc. We do not refund either if these problems are caused by the rain.
- For the customers arriving by cruise ship, pay attention to how far the harbour is from the meeting point.
- Leaning tower tickets timing: English and Spanish at 11.30 or 11.45, German at 14.00.
- Due to the 2025 Jubilee and its Ceremonies, the Cathedral may not be open to visitors or could be visited only partially, and the guide will have to do his explanation from the outside, as well as on Sunday mornings.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

The guide was extremely knowledgeable about Pisa and if history in general.
The site is beautiful and we enjoyed access to the Cathedral and the Tower. There’s additional monuments for additional money to visit.
Be prepared to leave your belongings in a locker before getting on line for the tower. Also, be prepared to take that hike up! It’s a great workout!

This tour was the perfect length and out guide was so knowledgeable and very funny at the same time. The tour went for only 1.5 hours and this was plenty of time to learn and about the city and climb the Pisa tower.

The tour guide was a little difficult to understand but she was nice. She had some good information but it turned out entrances to some of the other (and somewhat more important) buildings wasn’t included. When we bought tickets to those not included sites, we found tickets to everything would have been pretty inexpensive and easy to schedule

About the tour booked, you had included the entrance of the cathedral. As it is written in the description of this tour, the tickets for cementery,baptistry, tower and museums weren't included in the tour you booked.
Our agency offers different tours, each one with their own description and duration, and the best option would have been our Pisa all inclusive tour, that includes all the monuments.

Your guide was good. Too hot with too much standing and not enough moving and seeing. Guide was nice but structure of standing still wasn’t good in the heat.

Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, it is out of our hands.
The tour you booked has the following description:
Duration of 1,15 hr (including the free time in the cathedral) and 4 stops. The tour is not a city walking tour, it is a tour on the square ( as the name of the tour), and because of that there aren't many stops.
After the first stop ( 5 minutes of duration), the second stop is outside the cathedral where tourists sit on the steps of the cathedral. The third stop is inside the cathedral where tourists can sit on benches, and then they have the free time inside the cathedral. Finally, the last stop is for the explanation of the tower.

Our tour guide was super sweet and very helpful! She even helped us with a train ticket for another tour we had because we were confused. Very educated on the spots she took us, her personality was awesome as well. Climbing the Pisa tower was definitely a once in a lifetime thing for us because of how exhausting it was to climb the stairs plus it was very narrow so you have people climbing up and people going down leaving so that was tough and kind of claustrophobic but still glad we did it!

Our walking tour of Pisa with Anastasia was amazing!

Good experience ..but if u want to see everything is better do the tour without the tower ticket 20 euros and instead buy there a full ticket for 27 (tower battistero catacombe musei) ..so u can see everything..i had to pay 20 + 10 for each of person.

Obviously you have to see the leaning tower and learn it's history. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the items in the square. The cathedral was breathtaking. The only thing we didn't get to see was the baptistry as we misunderstood when the guide announced the tour was over. It was for those who had entrance tickets for the tower. Those who remained were supposed to tour the baptistry but we thought the tour was over and had walked away before the baptistry tour began.

The tour says 90 min, but the Leaning tower option is not included in this time, so it actually can take upto 2.5 hours because the Tower entry is not flexible. The tour of church started at 11.15 and ended at 12.15 but the tower entry was not before 12.45... I had paid extra especially for it but had to leave it because i had booked a train back accordingly at 1.30. The guide was of no help. Money wasted.

We are sorry that you did not enjoyed the tour with us. Actually you never joined the guided tour, you leave before we started, but anyway we're sorry you didn't enjoyed.
it's been 3 years we do this tours, and 8 we are tour guides so we have certain experience. our experience of 3 years shows us that 80% of our costumers arrive late because trains are late or they find traffic or don't find where to park the car, in order to avoid that people miss the entrance we take tickets with time enough. Usually people wants to enjoy the city, usually our costumers don't came from Rome to visit Pisa and then Venice in the same day as you did.
I was the guide and I'm olso the owner so don't say I didn't hepl you because is not true. tickets for the tower cannot be change, this are not my rules.
you had the train at 13.16 not 13.30 I remember perfectly, you won't have time anyway to arrive to the train although if the tickets for the tower were for 12.30. On the description of the tour says the you will climb the Tower after the guided tour, the description also says that before to go up you need to pass through the cloackroom to leave your bags, so of course Tower entry is not flexible. and the tour never takes more than 105min so please don't say 2,5h when is not true.
you didn't follow the guided tour so you don't know how was the tour....
Anyway we hope next time you visit a city like Pisa with centuries of history you dedicate to the city more than 90min, we will be happy to assist you.
