After meeting your guide by the famous Leaning Tower, make a beeline for the city’s historical center—the grand Piazza dei Miracoli. Here, the dominating landmark is the Leaning Tower, and you have plenty of time to admire the exterior and pose for photos by the tower, as your guide informs you of its fascinating history. Learn why the tower leans and discover the innovative engineering feats undertaken to keep the tower from falling over.

Then, follow your guide on a stroll around the rest of Piazza dei Miracoli, where the architectural wonders include the distinctive Romanesque Cathedral and the exquisite domed Baptistery.
