It was a very full experience, starting with a visit to the market, then instruction, followed by our own cooking experience, and wrapping up with a delicious meal that each of us prepared. Chef/teacher was affable and thorough. I have a gluten intolerance, and he was most vigilant in making sure that I didn't accidentally ingest something problematic. Apron, tote, and samples were great to remember the experience. If you enjoy food and time in the kitchen, I highly recommend this experience.

Fun and delicious!

Highly recommend this morning cooking class with the market tour. Our chef, Nickky, was so knowledgeable and showed us which ingredients we would be using for our dishes. We each cooked our own meals that we ate for lunch. It was fun, informative and delicious! We received all the recipes, and tote bag and apron to take home. It was a great experience!

Wet but satisfied

We enjoyed the day seeing the island sites. The glass bottom cable car ride was great, but thunderstorms kept us from enjoying the sites at the top. So we had a coffee and made some new friends waiting for the rain to stop. Had time for a local snack. Would do it again in better weather.

My original cooking class canceled so I rolled the dice on this one. Jackpot! Can’t express of much I enjoyed Molly, her knowledge and quick whit! Prepared 4 dishes, the instructions were easy after she demonstrated her skills. The only problem was I couldn’t eat all the food I cooked! How fun it was!!!!

What a treat - Thai cooking class at Blue Elephant!

We had an incredible time at this cooking class. I really liked the format of the class and appreciated the technical setup of the instructor’s area - mirror on ceiling above her cooking station so we could better see her cooking from our desks - as well as live video feed to tv monitor from another angle. We would watch her prepare and cook, then be sent to our cooking stations to do same. We made 3 delicious dishes and a dessert. Accommodations were made to each student with specific needs - I.e. vegetarian and food allergies. The instructor was knowledgeable and with her humor and skill, kept everyone captivated. We ate our dishes in the beautiful surround s of the restaurant and were given some wonderful souvenirs to take home. A must take class for anyone interested in Thai food!!!
