Itinerary
After hotel pickup, you’ll board your ATV and start the uphill climb toward a viewpoint to see Phuket’s Big Buddha. Tackle off-road terrain at a pace that suits your group, before arriving at the lookout point to absorb stunning views over the city and the sea.
Once you’ve posed for pictures, set out to explore the jungle on your ATV. Your route will depend on the duration of the tour you selected. Travel downhill looking out for flora and fauna, and say goodbye to your guide at your original departure point.

We had a great experience and would totally recommend this. The pickup and drop off from the hotel was on time and easy. The guides were great and provided a really fun experience. We did the 1 hour which was good for the day we went as it was really hot outside but we would have liked more time at the statue.

Just wanted to share my experience — overall it was amazing thanks to the tour guides. They truly made the day fun, safe, and memorable. My only real critique is the check‑in and checkout process. It feels rushed when they want you to sign paperwork, but then you end up waiting forever when it’s time to go home.
This excursion was great. Definitely wear something you don’t mind getting dirty because you will get dusty. We even got dusty before taking pictures at the Big Buddha, but honestly it all flowed together and didn’t ruin anything. The tour guides were incredible — bring cash to tip them because they work hard to make sure you get good memories, great photos, and feel comfortable, especially during the zip lining.
My only “grow” is better communication with drop‑off. We waited about 20 minutes for a ride back, asked about it, and were told it would be another 15 minutes. At that point we were tired, dirty, and ready to go, so we just used Grab (their version of Uber). The price of the excursion is absolutely worth everything you get to experience, but we didn’t use their transportation again since we already had a ride there and didn’t want to wait 40 minutes to get home, especially being an hour away.

My son and I had the best time sliding through the mud on the atv (my son rode on the back of mine as a passenger). Unfortunately the Big Buddha was closed so we couldn’t enter but the experience was still worth it. Careful of those monkeys!!!! They have no shame when it comes to stealing whatever you have! A monkey stole my bag of souvenirs, ran up a tree and threw them back at me one by one when he discovered it wasn’t food. I was lucky to get them back!! Hide your stuff!!! Haha

We booked in for 1 hour 30 minutes of ATV/Quadbike tour thru the jungle of Phuket.
What a great experience, our tour guide was very experienced and make sure we knew how to use the ATV, then we set off in a group of just us, at our own pace.
Wife and I are in our 60s.
Great fun, easy yo use ATV, easy and more challenging tracks, lots of steep uphill and downhill action, some sharp turns to make it fun and interesting.
We had an awesome experience, stopped at the big swing for a go, and travelled up to the big Buddha for a remote view.
So much fun.

If you choose the longer ATV option you will ride the same trails over and over. You will also ride in the back of a truck to the Buddha site and giant swing. The Buddha site is under reconstruction but you still get a pretty good side view. The good news is that the ATV ride through the rugged mountainside is pretty cool. Bad news is, even though I made my reservations weeks in advance for my hotel pickup and my hotel was printed on their voucher, a day before the excursion, they informed me that my hotel was out of their pickup service area. I had to arrange for a Bolt (same as Uber) to get me to a different hotel within their pickup area. Then, when they pick you up, you ride in the back of a pickup truck for quite awhile. Other reviews for these guys also complain about the same problem with the pickup points.

For hotels outside of these zones, we always provide the option to arrange a private transfer for an additional fee, or guests are welcome to make their own way directly to our camp, where our team will be ready to assist. We do understand that this can sometimes cause inconvenience, and we will continue to look at ways to improve communication to ensure this is clearer at the time of booking.
As for the ride to the Big Buddha and giant swing, our goal is to combine the ATV adventure with a chance to experience the beautiful views, and we appreciate your feedback on this arrangement. This was very fun. The guide is attentive to your safety. One of our members had zero experience and was able to keep up with the guide’s hand signals and directions. You can expect to get a pick up truck ride up to the ATV course. Then do some ATV, you will stop for some photos. Then, you will park your ATV and get into another pick up truck to get to the Big Buddha site, which is currently closed due to a landslide). The guide warned us about the monkeys. I watched a monkey with a baby take an apple off a table. This is kind of sad that they are so displaced. But they did not seem violent. The view is just breathtaking and beautiful near the Big Buddha site. However, I should say that the ride in the pick up to see the Big Buddha site is very sad. You will see elephants chained up. You will see a very thin and frail elephant logging. You will see baby elephants chained up. There are baskets of fruit that you can buy for 300 THb to feed the elephants. It’s very sad to see the animals. I don’t t think this tour service has anything to do with the elephants, but you will have to drive through this to see the Big Buddha from this route. It does take away from some of the good feelings. After this, you will return to ATV riding. Then do a giant swing. Fun, and very safe. But the sadness of the elephants still linger.

I was really excited to do this and I still had fun but there were a few problems with this booking.
It said that it would cover transport to and from the location and it didn't. No one spoke any English, while yes, I understand that this is Thailand, the tour is being advertised on an English speaking site.
We were riding the ATV after heavy rainfall so the paths were non existent and the ATV kept almost flipping over. Quite honestly, I'm not sure we should've been allowed to drive through the jungle in those conditions.
Since transport was included in the booking, I was expecting a ride back but no one who worked there seemed to know. Someone called the agency that handles the viator bookings and confirmed that I paid extra for transport.
They then asked everyone to see who could take me back on the back of their scooter.
This was pretty disorganized but I got back safely and in the end, it was pretty fun.

I paid to do the atvs & big Buddha the atvs were amazing along with our guide who was great fun but I was severely disappointed by big Buddha which is under construction and you can’t actually get to see it which the company does not disclose, they are very happy to take your money but don’t inform you about the construction work so I would suggest missing out on big Buddha until construction is finished

Really good experience, was worried when we turned up it was really busy, but you end up separating from everyone else once your on the bikes, me and my partner were by ourselves, our guide was amazing, good at taking photos, polite, just worth 5 stars. I hope our tip reached him! We got to go to a view point and the big Buddha, and also do the swing, bring your own water to save them waste!

The ATVs are a lot of fun. You get two goes with it. About 1hr was about right for us. There is no set start time. Our transport was 40min late but it made no difference. Big Buddha was closed so we just went for the views and monkeys which was fine. Expect orange dust on everything. The host did some filming for us which makes for good memories.

This ATV tour was nice. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guide was very thoughtful and nice. We stopped and took pictures at beautiful high points on the mountain, overlooking the island of Phuket. The only disappointment, was the fact that we did not get to go to the Big Buddha, because it was closed and we paid for it. I’ve been told that it has been closed for a few months now, so I don’t think the tour should be advertised with a trip to the Big Buddha. Otherwise, everything else was enjoyable.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by not being able to visit the Big Buddha. Unfortunately, due to its closure for maintenance, we are currently only able to offer views of the Big Buddha from a distance. The government is still considering the reopening, and we are hopeful that it will be available soon. We are also awaiting further updates on when it will reopen to the public.
We appreciate your understanding, and we will certainly take your feedback into consideration regarding the tour description. We hope to welcome you back for another experience in the near future.
