One of the highlights of our trip. Not only is the cooking class super informative and fun and fast paced, but the setting is unbelievable. It’s a gorgeous working farm that makes award winning olive oil and delicious Sangiovese, both of which you’ll get to sample during the class. Perfect activity for adults and kids alike.

Great Slow Down Tour!

Melanie_P, Mar 2025
This was the one thing that I booked for just myself on a 16 day trip in Umbria with my two little kids and husband. It did not disappoint! Alina was such a sweet host and teacher who helped us make delicious pasta, showed us around her olive oil mill and allowed us to truly SLOW down!

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Perfect Presentation

Ciara, was such a great representative of this great heritage. Her knowledge of the vineyard, the family history, the Chianti tradition, the process and the flavor recognition. We purchased three (2)wines and their wonderful olive oil. Can’t wait to arrive back to Paris and drink Super Tuscan and Reserve🍷

All the best the Italian countryside has to offer is on this farm!

This was as one of the best experiences on my trip to Italy! Alina, the wonderful chef, was warm, fun and so welcoming. Just one of the loveliest people I met on my trip. Her daughter, Stella, is a beautiful little sweetheart. And the food was fantastic! I come from a culinary background and still learned so much. Probably the best meal I had in Italy. And that says a lot. The olive oil they produce on their farm is amazing. I bought 4 bottles to bring home and I put it on everything. It's a quality and flavor that prominently stands out. Thank you Alina for the wonderful experience!

Response from Host, Oct 2024

Thank you so much, Jennifer, for your incredibly kind words! It was a true pleasure to have you join the class, and I’m so happy to know that the experience was a highlight of your trip. Stella and I loved meeting you, and it’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed both the food and the olive oil. Coming from someone with a culinary background, your compliments mean the world to me! I hope the olive oil brings a little taste of Italy to your home, and I’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime for more cooking and good company. Thank you again

The education on olive...

Joseph_F, Apr 2024
The education on olive oil, the making of the pasta with sauces and eating it when it was completed, was the icing on the cake for our family. Our host was knowledgeable and has tremendous passion for her work. The best family experience.

Pasta & EVOO in Umbria.

Ronald_S, Apr 2024
How delicious every dish was. We made 5 different pastas and the flavors of each was unique and so flavorful. The tour of the olive press was quite informative. What it takes to get such high quality EVOO is amazing. So much so that we bought a dozen bottles. And don’t forget Alina’s 6 year old niece. She was so serous in her pasta making, we know who will carry on the business in the next generation. BTW, come veeery hungry.

Beautiful morning learning to make authentic fresh pasta and tiramisu!

Charming, interactive and family-friendly

Jennifer_D, Oct 2022
Alina offered us a warm welcome in her beautiful home. The setting couldn’t have been more charming for us to learn how to make 4 different pastas/sauces and two types of tiramisu. The kids were thrilled with how interactive the class was…they were able to roll up their sleeves and get right to work. We’ve taken many cooking classes in our travels, and our day with Alina certainly ranks at the top!

Lovely, quaint Villa hotel. The class could have been more instructive but there was plenty of food and wine for everyon

Ellen_T, Sep 2022
Beautiful setting under the Tuscan sun. Great food and drink. Try to choose small classes. It would be helpful if everyone got the recipes ahead of time. The hotel was clean and picturesque.

Response from Host, Sep 2022
