It was very informative & interesting. The places were very beautiful . Architecture was amazing and unimaginable that it could be accomplished at that time without modern technology.

The whole day was fascinating New Norcia unbelievable story is worth hearing Don't know what I expected at The Pinaccles but it wasn't what I saw That is a sight to behold Driver wonderful and went out of his way to drop me close to my accommodation Great day

A wonderful day. New Norcia is a place not to be missed. Extremely interesting.
Pick up and transfers all good. 11 hour day.
Morning tea & lovely lunch included. Pinnacles were fascinating also.
Unfortunately we had a group of six non speaking English Italians that spoke very loudly during the talks making it very difficult to hear a lot of what was said. We spoke to the driver he said there was nothing he could do. To be honest he didn’t seem to care. This was very disappointing

Both the Abbey 'experience' and the Pinnacles were fantastic. Lunch meal could have been more enticing e.g. add a salad with the fish and chips perhaps.

If you are after a Pinnacles Dessert Tour try a different tour option, you are at the Pinnacles for less than one hour definitely not enough time to look around.
Some may find the New Norcia Tour appealing others will form a different opinion.
You travel on the coach for many hours going out of your way to visit New Norcia then head back to the coast line to visit the Pinnacles which makes it a long day.

New Norcia and Pinnacles were good. Wildflowers were a disappointment. Better to see Wilflowers for free at Perth Botannical Gardens near Kings Park.

We had a wonderful time on this tour from start to finish. A very family oriented tour suitable for all age group. The driver/tour guide Tomas is professional and handled unforeseen circumstance well our coach air-con spoiled!!. The lunch at the New Norcia Hotel is awesome, tasty fish and chips. The wildflower trip could have been better if it's the right season to visit.

Excellent tour that visited the unique Pinnacles Desert, allowed an insight into the history of the New Norcia monastic settlement, and included a visit to an Australian wildflower exporter farm with a well-informed driver.
Only issue was the poor coach with no viable speaker system, an out-of-order toilet, no leg rests and at least one seat that reclined of its own accord. plus a dangerously high step at the exit.

Great day out. Coach comfortable and driver excellent. The unexpected morning tea a bonus and lunch excellent. I would have been happy to miss the wildflower farm to have more time in New Norcia and the Pinnacles.

Trip was OK, but there is a lot of driving and its a long day. In my opinion, the Pinnacles are not that spectacular versus - say - the Stone Forest in Yunnan, China. If I had to choose between this trip and Wave Rock, I would prefer Wave Rock,

The sight of all these rocky spikes in sand was a fantastic sight. The visit to New Norcia concluded with an excellent fish and chip lunch.

A very interesting trip. David our driver did a great job.

The tour operators were great, it was fantastic seeing the Pinnacles!

It was Too Long of a day and New Nocsia was a waste of time.
Too Hot @ Pinnacles, nothing to be done about the weather!!!!

A great day out. Our guide/driver, Paul, entertained us all day with commentary about the early settlers and local fauna and flora. New Norcia is interesting. No wildflowers but lunch at the wildflower centre was delicious. The Pinnacles are amazing. The drive was comfortable with interesting scenery all the way. Highly recommend.

The wildflower stop was a complete waste of time, dusty old expensive souvenirs, had to pay for coffe and no flowers to be seen except some boronia.Rubbish and boxes everywhere.
Jeff the driver was fantastic,patient,amusing,informative.5 stars for Jeff

We found all our tours great and enjoyed them very much. The Pinnacle desert is amazing and we also saw a wild emu!
Mayble C, Jul 2014
It was a nice trip, at New Norcia, will be better if the guide could allow 10 to 20 minutes more at the two churches she showed us. This could give us time to take some photos.

This is quite a long day with an early start. The Pinnacles are spectacular and well worth the drive. Our driver john was very knowledgeable and personable and passionate about the geological formations. New Norcia was brilliant but we really needed to spend more time there to properly see the museum. The local guide provided valuable insight to the town's background and ongoing changes today.
Lunch was fine but the wild flower part of the trip lacked real content, as the flowers have passed blooming and so the farm served as a lunch stop and a visit to the gift shop. Given that it took additional time to get there, this wasn't best use of time. The stop at Cervantes to see the ocean brought some welcome relief from the coach.
There are times on the trip when the journey can get to you as you pass miles of scrubland and wheat fields, which are very much the same - but it is worth it to see New Norcia and the desert.

It was good but I felt that they could've shown more places
xabu, Mar 2013
New Norcia and Wildflowers may be good for older people as there's really nothing to see (a monastery and a place where they dry wildflowers) but Pinnacles are really nice and you can even meet a wild kangaroo in the neighbourhood.
Li Fern O, Sep 2012
New Norcia is nice and Pinnacles Desert is amazing. However, the catered lunch could have been better. The food was cold packed. Chicken meat was cold and dry.The bread is pretty hard. And there were lots of houseflies flying around the Wildflowers shop that we stopover for lunch.
Would suggest the trip planner to review/source for a better lunch venue and revise the food menu.
Colin B, Mar 2012
Fascinating trip, could have spent longer at New Norcia but because of distance to be travelled in day we had to cut short. Packed lunch was really good and Pinnacles were wonderful to see.

The entire day was very well organised and informative. The Pinnacles was well worth the trip.
Leanne W, Oct 2010
the tour did not live up to the expectation in places.
as the tour was running late our tour of the Abbey was rushed but still very interesting and I did enjoy the guides talk.
the wildflower tour was quite misleading and I was under the impression that the wild flowers are in bloom October through November but all there was was a wee shop and a very rushed and not at all enthusiastic talk crammed into eight minutes.
again the Pinnacles was the high light of the day but still running late the information centre was closing as we arrived
On a high note the bus driver was informative and ran an interesting commentary!
Jenni S, Jan 2010
I would love to go back and see it in full bloom! Would liked to have had a little more time at New Norcia! The dinner stop was terrible, the food was cold and greasy. The lunch provided by the bus company was excellent though!
Kathy B, Apr 2009
Good trip and long day. With it not being wildflower season in April another point of interest should be included. Great lobster lunch.
Daniel H, Jan 2008
The Abbey at New Norcia was really the highlight of the tour! It would have been great to have had more time there. The Pinnacles are also really impressive but make sure to properly hydrate, it is really hot and sandy out there!
