Along with seeing and walking amongst the fascinating Pinnacles, the animal park, lobster farm and dune experiences add up to making this an incredible day, but the major star of the experience was our driver, stopping along the way to view interesting flora, talking about the local fauna and the lives of the local Aussies and offer pearls of wisdom about the first nation community. All in all, a great intro to WA! Thank you.

The highlight of this...

The highlight of this trip was the animals. This was my first time to see a wombat and a koala. I would have liked more time at the zoo, but I understand there was a big day ahead of us and time was limited.

Wonderful and informative day

Rebecca_T, Jul 2025
We were picked up in the city and started our way at the Caversham wildlife park and it felt like we got vip access seeing up close the animals before the park opened to the public, we then drove up to lancillin where we went sand surfing which was amazing!!!! Then we drove up to Cervantes to the lobster shack and the food was delicious, lastly to the pinnacles. Our driver was fabulous and quite educational and you can tell he really loves his job, he was English but knew more about Australia than I do as an Aussie 🤣 he even dropped us directly outside our hotel with our kids, he was very accomodating! The only recommendation I would have is making the pinnacles a bit shorter and the sand surfing a bit longer.

It was a full day with animal park, lobster processing tour, The Pinnacles and off-roading the sand dunes. I enjoyed it all. Our driver, Lee, was personable, knowledgeable and professional. Damian, our 4x4 driver provided an adventurous tour through the dunes. Highly recommended.

Driver was late, untidy, treated people like children and had attitude problem. I could tell from the start he couldn't wait for day to finish.

I enjoyed White man park taking photos with kengooroos, koalas and wombats. Fun activities in desert to sand board and drive 4x4. Lunch was incredible tasty. And the deser was nice place to spend some time before going back. The driver was informative and helpful.

A very full day.

A very full day. Lee was a great driver/guide keeping us informed and on time. I particularly loved our time with the kangaroos and at the lobster shack. Very well organised. Would recommend.

Our trip to the Pinnacles...

Nabeena_K, Jan 2025
Our trip to the Pinnacles and Lancelin was an unforgettable experience. We began with a visit to Caversham Wildlife Park, followed by a delicious fish and chips lunch at 1:30 PM. The Pinnacles Desert offered breathtaking views, but the scorching heat limited our time there to quick photo stops. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the Lancelin sand dunes. The thrilling ride over the dunes was exhilarating, and sandboarding added an extra layer of excitement. It was an adventurous day filled with fun, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable memories. Definitely a trip worth taking!

Too expressive for thé moment

It’s too big bus with stress for thé stop(driver was very exigent) Drive in thé sand was not intéressant Thé lunch was bad (not hot, no salt, no coffre or anuthing) I had impression of goods that you transport

Fabulous Day Tour from Perth!

Wendy_A, Dec 2024
This was the perfect day tour from Perth! It had all the elements to make an exciting day! We started at the Caversham Wildlife Park where we hand-fed kangaroos and saw koalas and a wombat up close. I really appreciated the VIP experience at the park, where we had a dedicated guide and were able to skip all of the lines. We were able to hand feed the kangaroos right when they open, so the kangaroos were hungry. :-) A highlight of the tour was sand boarding at the Lancelin sand dunes, and the Pinnacles were my absolute favorite. The lighting was just spectacular too (even if the wind was nuts). The driver/guide Jonathan was so easy-going and had a great sense of humor, and looked out for me with my special dietary need at the Lobster Shack. He also made sure that we were running on time. A few tips if you take the tour: 1) Bring some water and snacks — the stop for lunch was around 2 PM 2) Bring some baby wipes or extra water to rinse off after the sand dunes – – the sand gets *everywhere* 3) When at the Pinnacles, it’s difficult to find the trailhead on the way back, because it’s not well marked and everything looks alike. I suggest pinning it to your phone map or pinning the parking lot so you can easily get back. Also, the walking trail from the parking lot to the Pinnacles and back is a good few minutes, so make sure you account for that on your way there/back. 4) If you’re planning to bring a drone, please know that the sand dunes and the Pinnacles are very, very windy, so the wind might be too strong. According to Jonathan, one visitor lost his drone at the dunes, and when I tried at the Pinnacles, I got a very strong wind warning on the drone and could only keep it up in the air for about a minute.

Place it in your top places to visit.

Loved everything about this full day tour. Worth every dollar. An experience I will never forget. Highly recommend

A great day.

Paul_G, Dec 2024
Driver/guide jonathan was great. Time at Caversham was very short. Fish and chips lunch was excellent (huge portion). Pinnacles was terrific enough time to explore but note museum closes at 16:30 so go first if you have time.

A whole lot of day out for a good price!

Tina_P, Nov 2024
Great trip that is worth the money! I wish the zoo had been a little longer, but feeding the kangaroos was amazing and the koala was so cute!!! The guide was knowledgeable too - just wish we had more time as much more to see. The gift shop was really cheap too so if you want cuddly toys, etc, get them here. We then went on to the 4WD dune busting and sandboarding. Fantastic. The guy driving was lovely too. Great fun!! Then on to the lobster factory. The tour was a little strange (not a lot to see), but lunch was good. My brother had fish and chips and I upgraded to the lobster. Nice food. Then we went to the Pinnacles. Quite surreal. Very windy on the day we went, but worth the visit. Coach driver was a nice guy. A great deal of things to see in one day and worth every penny of the money paid. 100% recommended.

Except for the lobster...

Stefanie_H, Sep 2024
Except for the lobster farm I enjoyed all the stops in this tour! The wildlife parc was great, especially feeding the kangurus. Sandboarding was awsome, I loved it. The pinnacles were really exiting. The only esxpectation, which I did not like too much, was the lobster farm. The guide there was not very motivated and I thought to learn more about these animals. This way it was just a show of a product rather than an animal.

Highly recommended tour

lauradubcovsky, Sep 2024
Pinnacles desert is a gem, different even for Australian standards Sandboarding 4WD was great as well as the wild animal park It’s a very short visit in each site but helps to give a first approach to the area:) The driver is very knowledgeable and keeps passengers entertained

Adventure well organised

Kathleen_P, Sep 2024
Loved the day, great Guide and really good enjoyed the combination included!!! Fun the sand boarding, excellent 4wd and loved the fish & chips.

Everything was good, comfortable bus & family enjoying this tours a lot. Will let my friends & visit know

Memorable day trip.

JennyL, Apr 2024
It was a memorable trip. Our guide Mr Gordon was friendly and professional in his duty. Pick up from nearby our hotel in CBD is great and highly appreciated. However the lobster shack lunch is quite late and we only have less than an hour to enjoy. The sand boarding is fun and exciting however there were too many flies in lancelin and pinnacles. Great day trip..

A pleasure journey

Awesome tour

Ninad_M, Mar 2024
Fun ,exciting, thrilling experience in this dessert pinnacle tour.It was nice to be with this tour having friendly guides and yummy meal.

Timing the activities needs to be revised

Matteo_M, Mar 2024
Unfortunately I have to give only 3 stars, because I was really disappointed by the fact the we stopped only for 30 minutes at the Pinnacles, as apparently we were "a little" behind of schedule. All the rest was fine, from the Caversham Wildlife Park to the sandboarding experience and the tour with lunch at the lobster shack. The lunch was really good, actually, but when we headed to the Pinnacles we barely had time to get off the bus and reach the closest pinnacles to take at least a picture. I do not know if that happened because the bus drivers were trying to organise the different groups on the different buses in a way to avoid overlapping each other's scheduled activities, but is was really frustrating that we could not stay longer and have the chance to admire these amazing geological structures.

Lots of fun.

Sid_L, Mar 2024
We really enjoyed this tour. It was diversified and “Australian”. Our tour director was knowledgeable and easy to listen to.

A great tour. Definitely worth it!

JESHURUN_K, Feb 2024
This is the second time I have done this tour with my first being back in 2011. I loved it so much I did it again on revisiting Perth. The staff are great, the tour is timed perfectly to allow you enough time at each stop so you can return to Perth by about 6:30pm. Pick and up and drop off at major hotels are included. Would definitely recommend it!

Caversham, Lancelin, Pinnacle dessert lobster shack

PutriRoslina_A, Jan 2024
This is definitely worth going for. Many attractions in one day. First stop Caversham Wildlife- adorable koala, kangaroo, woombat. You got a chance to feed kangaroos, touch the animals and take photos with them. Next was Lancelin sand dune- adventurous 4x4 bus ride going through the hilly sand dune like going on a roller coaster. You then get to do sand boarding- a must try! After that headed to lobster shack in a fishing village Cervantes for lunch. Finally to the Nambung National Park to experience fantastic view of the pinnacle dessert. Really enjoyed the trip. Good narrative by the tour driver Pete.

Twas chill and fun tour
