This was an exceptionally unique tour! On the first day we were scheduled, the Louvre employees went on strike. The company quickly reached out to inform us and offered several options. They rebooked us for the very next day the Louvre reopened and wow, it was worth the wait!
We knew the Louvre was massive and filled with incredible artwork, but this tour went far beyond that. It immersed us in the culture of the time each piece was created, explaining how the art was originally perceived and how it was meant to be enjoyed then versus now. Along the way, we also learned fascinating facts about the Louvre itself and how it functions.
The sheer volume of artwork and history in the Louvre can be overwhelming, but this tour made it feel manageable and truly enjoyable, allowing us to appreciate the art as it was intended. We visited in January had an amazing time, and can’t wait to return.

A friend recommended a private tour and so glad we spent the money for it. We had 2 adults and our 19 year old and 17 year old. The day after I reserved our date, Juliette contacted me to discuss what we were looking to get out of the tour. Maryam was our guide and even showed up earlier when asked because we got there earlier. She was fast paced which we loved, she did look back to make sure we were with her as she went through the crowds. The place is huge and you would not be able to see everything on your own. She gave us a bit of history which made it more interesting and we are not a family that cares too much about reading every plaque for history, but it does make for a memorable tour. We saw lot so things. Highly recommend!!

I went to the Louvre with my 90-year-old mother, my sister, her husband, and my husband. We have all been to the Louvre many times, but we always like to get a guide. The first thing that impressed me about Dayin was that they had someone from their company call me to learn about our group and what we’d like to see. That was helpful since we needed to go at a slower pace. I received a detailed e-mail with all the necessary information about where to meet and the time.
Walid was our tour guide. He showed us some of his favorite things at the Louvre and they were things we had never seen before. . His knowledge of history and art made the tour extra special. We bombarded him with questions and he was patient and kind. I’m a history major myself and Walid taught me fascinating information about ancient Syrian Gods from statues at the museum that I had never heard of. Every minute was interesting and full of captivating stories. My mother is one of the hardest people to please and she exclaimed at the end of the tour that Walid was the best tour guide she’s ever had and she’s had hundreds throughout her life. Our entire group loved Walid. I highly recommend Dayin Tours and our amazing guide Walid. If you want a wonderful experience this is the company to go with.

It moved very fast - but we did see everything we wanted to see. Obviously it is an huge place and we would not have been able to navigate on our own. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and used our time together very expeditiously. Tip: We booked an evening time slot, which was a mistake. It did not allow us an opportunity to stay and return to areas. I would do that time slot differently next time.

We had Walid as our tour guide and he was absolutely perfect! For our first time in the Louvre, we hit all different areas and was able to make the tour customizable to our liking. Walid was so knowledgeable about every art piece and elevated our experience. I cannot imagine trying to take on the louvre for the first time without him. 10/10 recommend!

We choose 05:30 pm in a summer day, the crowds were less, and easy.

Clara was great! We would recommend the tour to anyone that wanted to see the great works being displayed in 2 hours. Mona Lisa was the highlight but seeing the history beginning with Mesopotamia was interesting. Great experience all around!!

This experience could not have been any better. As I think about it, it was exactly perfect for me, my wife and my 3 kids. My youngest has special needs and my assumption was that he was going to have a meltdown and we'd have to leave. Having a guide dedicated to just our family was so key for being able to do the tour. John was incredibly engaging with my little guy which actually kept him in good spirits the whole time. We looked at the building, statues, paintings and we got just enough information that it made us curious and appreciative of the artwork. If I were the guide, I would just tell my kids-look at that, it's important and I don't know why. John made art accessible to 3 teenagers. What a talent! Going in the group entrance is a life saver. Worth every penny. Our family has literally been to an art museum once (my oldest is 18). We are not an art family. What I was dreading ahead of time was the highlight tour of our trip to Paris. Thank you!

Carla was very knowledgeable and she brought visual aids to assist as well. It was nice to skip the line and also to be guided thru the massive Louvre museum to the most important pieces. If you want to tour but don’t want to spend more than 2.5 hours then this tour is perfect! It was exactly what we wanted and communication before the tour was excellent as well:) highly recommend

This was the highlight of my trip to Paris!! Juliette was an amazing tour guide. Her knowledge was encyclopedic. Everything from Mesopotamian history through nineteenth century painting. A richly rewarding experience. This is the only way to visit the Louvre. The four hours went by too fast. Many thanks to Julliette for an amazing experience!!!

If you want to get the most out of a visit to the Lourve this tour is for you. Our guide Justine was fantastic. She is educated in art history and gave great background and history of the major pieces and others as well as the Lourve itself. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The skip the line aspect is definitely a bonus as well. We would highly recommend this tour.

I strongly recommend this tour as a way to be introduced not only to some fantastic art, but also to the lay-out of the Louvre.
Hamish was our excellent guide. He has a broad scope of knowledge and he shared relevant, informative and at times, humorous stories about each piece, artist, and cultural background.
On some practical notes: We were walking or standing throughout the tour. Occasionally, there are benches, but been prepared to move. Also, even if it’s very cold outside, hang up your coats when the guide offers. And bring some cash/coins if you want to tip - not required.

If you have on a coat check it!!! Be prepared to climb a lot of steps. Stay after your tour is over to see more areas but make sure you have your ticket so you can go from one wing to another.
