We booked this as a third-party excursion during our recent cruise. The company was very accommodating and arranged an earlier sailing for our group of 23 to fit our ship’s schedule, which we really appreciated. Transportation was the only hiccup. No one told us ahead of time that the van couldn’t enter the cruise port, so we ended up waiting in the parking lot for over 20 minutes until a helpful official pointed us in the right direction. Our driver was kind, got us there and back safely, and even gave great tips on how to handle local vendors. That said, driving in Jamaica can feel fast and intense — at times a little nerve-wracking — but we always felt he had our safety in mind. Once on the catamaran, the experience was exactly what we hoped for. The crew was friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a great time. The scenery, atmosphere, and overall vibe made this the highlight of our day in Jamaica. Bottom line: A memorable and enjoyable excursion with excellent crew and accommodating service — just be prepared for a bit of transportation chaos.

The hike is pretty high and might be slippery so bring water shoes and take your time! Guides are amazing from the bus, catamaran and at the park. Bring cash for tips as they are well deserved

The BEST catamaran cruise in Jamaica

This was a great experience from beginning to end. They start you off with a boxed meal prepared hot when you get there. They then take you to the boat where you are given fruit punch and water(rum punch is not given until all water activities are completed but if you find a good staff member, they'll slip it to you). You'll then be taken to snorkel first for about 30-45 min and then to the beach and falls of Dunn River, where you can either climb the falls or relax at the beach. I chose the beach as the falls can be intimidating Once all the water activities are finished, its back to the boat where rum punch is flowing and a small eats is given to you! Then its party time as the boat heads back into Ochos Rios. Cons: Bathrooms are not ideal(but hey most public restrooms in Jamaica are not). Pros: Everything about this boat ride was fantastic!

Was nice enough, however I was quite disappointed with the "open bar" lasting about 35 mins on the way back from Dunn's River falls, which you hike up at a snail's pace (75 mins up, 15 mins down) because there are hundredsssssss of other tourists trying to use the exact same path. A lot of time is spent just standing still in the water waiting to be able to move. I think they got maybe 8 songs in with the open bar on the way back before we docked and all had to get off, which was exactly when everyone was only beginning to dance and have a good time.

They do not know how to communicate. They said we had to reach out to them to confirm pickup time but they already had a bus scheduled for our hotel. They did not reach out to is before arriving to the hotel but rudely texted us when they were outside and told us they were leaving us. They indeed left us and did not provide any information on how we could have gotten there so we missed the cruise. Awaiting refund.

The best part was climbing Dunn's river. The crew were serving bottles of Wray & Nephew with cheap white rum inside. I've been on many catamaran cruises and this one was really disappointing.

A very mixed review. Before the tour started lunch was served by the beach. The food was nice. When booking the tour was suppose to start at 12:30, however when we arrived we was told 1pm which was fine, however we didn’t set sail until gone 2pm. We arrived at the swimming/ snorkel site. My partner and myself got in for a swim but kept being asked to come closer ( we was not far away at all) the lady who kept asking for a real attitude with us and carried on throughout the tour. We arrived at the fall and it was very unorganised. The waiting around really ate into our time. I think I ended up signing my name 5 times. We was split up into 2 groups. One group has a very lively tour guide (ideal) and the whole thing was being filmed. They got to stop and take lots of pictures and swim in the falls. Our tour guide just seemed to rush us, didn’t get many photo opportunities and we were not being filmed. The falls are beautiful and I enjoyed climbing them I just wish we had a lot more picture opportunities. I’d rather climb it on my own. Because of all the waiting around we didn’t get any time to swim at the beach. It all ended up very rushed. The boat ride back was fun, lots of dancing and good music, I just wish there was more of it. I would go again if it was more organised

The most memorable parts… Everything ran late, waited A LOT. Nothing was organized, we got about 15 minutes to snorkel, because people were late and the food was mediocre. Other than the staff being very polite and nice it was definitely not worth the money. Transportation was also just a lot of waiting and rushing to go nowhere. We spent a whole entire day, eight hours to have a 15 minute snorkeling excursion and climb the waterfall for 45 minutes. Woohoo, there was no party.

The hike was definitely an experience. We didn't get a chance to see the sealife while Snorkeling but all 5 of us enjoyed the water. The food was good & the boat was JUMPIN!!

A great experience for families. There were 30 of us from 5yrs old to 73.

Being able to climb the falls was amazing. I enjoyed watching my grandchildren have such fun. Could've spent more time snorkeling. Overall, I rate this a something everyone here should attempt.
