Itinerary

Start your day with morning pickup from your Ocho Rios hotel or cruise ship terminal, then travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to Dunn's River Falls.

Dunn's River Falls stand 180 feet (55 meters) tall and stretch 600 feet (183 meters) long. Your local guide provides a safety orientation and informative commentary about this natural wonder, which you explore via natural terraced steps that you can climb to make your way up the falls.

After exploring Dunn's River Falls, head to the White River for about one hour of relaxing tubing on the calm river, accompanied by your guide. Next, stop at a jerk restaurant to purchase authentic Jamaican fare for lunch. Wrap up your afternoon with time for shopping in Ocho Rios at Sonia's Plaza, Taj Mahal, or the local craft market.

Your tour ends with drop-off at your resort or cruise terminal in Ocho Rios.

Great time! This tour was taken by my family of four. My kids are 4 and 7 years old. It was family friendly and the kids were able to do both activies with no problems. The guide at Dunns River helped my 4 year old up the Falls and the kids loved tubing. We got wetter than I expected while tubing. Our driver Kenneth was on time and very helpful with information and the history of Jamaica. I didnt really care for the resturant we went to, the menu was very limited, no dumplings, no plantains, no cabbage, no curry chicken, no sweet potatoes and it was pretty expensive for it to lack all of those items. I was wanting more authentic jamaican food.

We had a great day on the Dunns River Falls and Tubing combo tour. Kenneth was an excellent guide. I’m glad we decided to do the combo tour as we had plenty of time to do both activities on our port day. The river tubing was very beautiful and relaxing. Climbing up the falls was awesome- a bit challenging and a very different experience. Exiting the falls is horrible as the vendors will not stop harassing you! Keep your head down and avoid eye contact.

We were on a cruise and instead of being on a bus of 50 we were by ourselves and first to climb the falls on our own without the hoardes of people. The tubing was again by ourselves. We had a fun guide that sang familiar songs. The Rapids were really good. Highly recommend

The visit was Excellent just be careful there's a lot of hussler around the area to make money, sometimes sometimes it's it's over overrr rated to to the the max, I ordered fish escobish, in Florida I paid 13 dollars, 13 dollars in Ocho Rios I paid 25 dollars, 25 dollars, I am not happy about it. Lol

Such fun. Really glad we did it. We are a 72 year young couple and found the climb not too exhausting. The guide was with us litterally holding our hand we formed a human chain and helped one another so it was quite safe. We bought the video they took of our group at the end and enjoy playing it back and revisiting the experience.

We were a little skeptical about booking outside of our cruise ships excursions....after doing this tour we HIGHLY suggest that you take the time to do so! Ainsley was our private tour guide. He drove us to both destinations and made sure our stuff was safe while we enjoyed the excursions. Very fun!

I purchased Dunns Falls combined with River Tubing thru Viator because the resort we were staying at only offered one place at a time at a much higher price. I took the chance that this private tour would not completely fill my day up and I would see the famous falls. PS...Falls must be done on a non-cruise docking day AND first thing in the morning due to crowds and the water being clear as silt gets churned up Our private guide, Mr. T, picked us up on time at our resort, we had a private car to ourselves, Mr. T was a gentleman, very knowledgeable of Jamaica, told us history, sites, stories, and even stopped to buy us sugarcane!!! We felt very safe with him. It was our choice to pick tubing first or climb the falls. As mentioned we went to the falls first, then tubing, then we stopped to shop and have some lunch. Tickets were purchased for us, no lines to wait on, no lockers needed for storing stuff as our dry clothing stayed in the car. This is a no brainier company to use. Easy and affordable. I just wished we had more money to tip Mr. T, except he took us shopping. Great time folks! Tip...visit Dunns on a non cruise day, first in the morning. Also be aware that some tours include multiple stops at different activities..you will sit in the van and wait for the people who paid to do the event that you did not sign up for. Don't waste your time on these combined excursions unless you paid to do all the stops. I don't believe Viator does this, only the resorts and they don't tell you this! ...if it's cheaper to do a private tour then go for it! Viator and Mr.T were GREAT!

We cannot rate this tour highly enough. My wife and I were picked up promptly and our driver for the day gave us a great commentary on Jamaica and nothing was too much trouble. The Falls was first call and great fun then off to the tubing where we were treated like VIPS by the staff. We had a blast.
