Masa was super communicative and friendly. She brought us to all the places and introduced us to the nicer deers. We learned a lot from her. And I learned new facts that I didn’t even know about Shinto and Buddhism. Masa was very nice and we had a wonderful time.

Yuka-san was an awesome guide. She was patient and accommodating as we are traveling with a 10yr old. Yuka-san was very knowledgeable of the area and we covered a large portion of Nara's must visit spots, and got a good sense of its history and culture.

We were transiting from Kyoto to Osaka and thought we could squeeze in a quick trip to Nara, which this tour definitely accomplished. We did the tour with Noriko and to our pleasant surprise, her English was very good and she was able to give us a detailed background of everything we saw. The highlight definitely are the deer though! We appreciated the detailed itinerary that was sent well in advance as well as the clear instructions of the meeting spot. One tip for travellers--if you have bags and are doing a day trip like us, take advantage of the lockers in the subway line as free hands definitely make this trip more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Shigeyuki exploring Nara. A very friendly and informative guide. We saw so much more than if we had been going solo. The tour is probably not suited to persons with mobility issues but I have no doubt Shigeyuki would arrange the tour to suit any ability level .
