I was surprised that the starting destination is in a suburb of Nara. It was actually pretty cool to see a residential area in addition to seeing the Deer Park and tourist sties.

A really fantastic bike tour by Christophe. I thoroughly recommend this tour. We arranged the night before and soon had a welcome message and instructions for joining. Christophe made sure that we had the correct size of bike and safety helmet. He guided us safely and we had flexibility to stop when we wanted for photos. Christophe was highly knowledgeable, not just about the sites, but also the local culture. The tour was at our pace and very informative. Christophe took photos of us on the tour and we were able to download them the same evening. The tour was a very special experience for us.

An awesome way to experience Nara! While many people simply get off the train and walk a few blocks to see the Nara Deer, biking gives you the ability to truly have an experience of seeing so much more of what Nara has to offer, namely the largest Buddha, Kasuga-Nashi, the Kikuich Cutlery (formerly a maker of samurai swords) and generally the ancient history of Nara! Biking was moderately challenging in spots, but you can walk on those moments of needed. Naturally, the highlight was getting to feed the deer and learning how to engage with them so as to have them bow before getting a snack. Sebastian was really great at showing us the way!

Great day in Nara biking Christophe. We Our Our family enjoyed learning about Buddhist Temple & Shinto Shrine. it was amazing to see crowds coming to pray at the new year. Biking is a fun way to explore Nara. We’ll be back for another ride.

What an Incredible day! Perfect way to experience Nara. Chris was a wonderful guide; Friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. It was a pleasant amount of exercise without being strenuous or exhausting and the deer were all so cute.

My friend and I met at the meeting spot a few minutes late, but Jerome, our tour guide, waited for us. Jerome is very kind as he made sure to adjust our bikes to our height and provided us helmets and glasses. It is a very pleasant experience biking through the countryside of Nara and having interesting conversations with Jerome. Our first stop was Nara Park and we got to feed the deer. We also got to see Kodaiji temple where I bought plenty of souvenirs, wrote on a roof tile, and stamped my passport. The bike ride itself was not strenuous and was fairly easy. The weather was very hot that day, but Jerome brought an ice cold water bottle for us to share. After the tour was over, Jerome guided us to a bus stop and we departed ways. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely do it again!

Great trip had a great time at Nara, but I will say that trip on the sidewalk to Nara was dangerous. I would recommend people be in their 20s and 30s because it is a rigorous trail. My son was 12 and my mom was 70 and it was a very hard trail.

We selected this tour for the bike ride through the city. The tour guide was clear and knowledgeable in her explanations of the history. She cared about the tour and kept all of us well-informed.
I maintained the same word count while correcting the grammar and making the language slightly more formal and precise.

We saw many amazing sights and our guide was knowledgeable. The bikes we easy to use and great on the hills. Maybe felt a little rushed at the end when we were going through great parks and could have stopped for a few pics. Overall would recommend.

I left my wallet on the bus and the tour guide Robert went above and beyond to help me find it! He then proceeded to give me the entire tour after the delay. Really kind and helped to make a stressful situation a lot better.

We loved our tour of Nara with Robert! We visited several historic sites and fed the deer! Robert was full of information and was very friendly and welcoming. The pedaling was a bit challenging at times but all of our group was able to make it up. For every up hill there was a long break and a breezy downhill. We would recommend this tour to all our friends. Thank you Robert!

We had a wonderful day with the tour guide, who was very knowledgeable about the history of the temples and shrines in Nara. We were able to see the most fascinating parts of Nara in about four or five hours by pedaling around on our bikes, which gave us a bird's-eye perspective of the city. In addition, we had a wonderful time trying out the udon for lunch and the coffee break that we had throughout the trip. It is highly recommended that you take a bicycle excursion to explore Nara.

What a cool way to experience Nara! Elodie is fantastic and so knowledgeable. We learned so much about Nara and Japan’s history. She also took amazing pictures as we stood by beautiful scenery and live action shots of us feeding the deer. So fun! Absolutely loved the knife shop she took us to - it was personally the highlight of the tour for me. Definitely a must-try experience for anyone hoping to see the sights and get a break from walking :)

It was a great way to tour Nara. We took a taxi to the meeting point from the train and a bus back. Our tour guide, Remi, was very knowledgeable of the different sites we visited. We enjoyed visiting the deer park, temple, shrine, and knife shop. The bikes we used were very nice, too.

The idea is very good but it lacks of content and explanations. The duration is short, you have little time in each spot. And you have to pick up and returns the bikes really far from the park. The idea is good but it is not well executed, specially in relation with the price.

An intimate and efficient way to see the sites in Nara with a guide. Recommend to get a taxi to the bike meeting point and then get a local bus back to town/train.

All 10 of us had an amazing time. Melody was lovely and did a great job keeping an eye on us all and keeping us safe. The places we went were perfect. This was a great way to see Nara. It was a pretty easy ride so we could focus on seeing the sights and deer. Melody was a great tour guide and I learned a lot from her about Nara and Japan in general. Would recommend to anyone coming to Nara!
