Great experience on a beautiful smaller farm. Beautiful location, made pizza and bread with Mike, and then had lunch. We were able to interact with animals: donkey, goats, sheep, cool dog. Fun, rustic experience!

Great experience! Chef Mike made it for us! It was just me and my partner and we had the best time making bread and pizza! It was a lovely walk around the farm and we quickly made friends with the farm dog Myko and kitten - Ginger! Well worth a visit! Glad we picked this experience over the others!!

This was the absolute best way to spend the morning in Mykonos. The farm itself is lovely and the tour contained interesting historical details and demonstrated local agricultural practices. Feeding the animals was fun. Mike, our head baker was wonderful. We made breads, pizza, dessert pie and pastries. To-go containers were needed! Wine, water, salad and mousaka we also provided. Everything was delicious. Overall, this tour was absolutely delightful and one that we highly recommend. It was a highlight of our vacation.

Bakery part was great, the rest not much

Susan_M, Oct 2025
Baking with Mike was a great experience. Despite the language barrier, he made us feel welcome and made us laugh. We made pizza and bread. Brunch was delicious and Mike served us the food we made plus other Greek dishes, all great. The farm tour wasn’t much to speak of and our guide for that portion spent most of the time complaining. A history of the island or of Greek culinary culture/history would have been more interesting.

A great way to have an experience in Mykonos

Fun with friends

Fun experience. You won't go home hungry. Baked sweet bread, calzones and pizza. We also enjoyed the Greek coffee and wines. Everyone participated and had time to learn about the farm and other offerings.

Very fun!

It was a wonderful alternative to the crowds and bustle of Mykonos. Very fun. Wonderful people, delicious food and wines.

Rainy day

Angela_H, Sep 2025
Great time despite the rain. Things had to altered a little to adjust to the rain and they took it all in stride and still provided a great experience.

Big Mike makes it

sarah_p, Sep 2025
Had a fabulous few hours in a small group of just four people making both a traditional and an enriched bread dough. And then eating the results- what’s not to like?! Big Mike was as great a teacher and as funny as we’d read in other reviews. Interesting and informative tour of the, currently, small hobby type farm by Mark.

The farm and experience...

Elise_W, Sep 2025
The farm and experience is still in its early stages of development for what is advertised. We enjoyed Mike, and his expertise with bread-making and learning new ways to make pizzas, calzones, and rolls. The tour of the farm was informative, but was more lecture-style than experiential. The bathrooms were clean and there is a lot more this farm will be offering in the future. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves! As the bread the rises, it would have been nice to have a shorter tour of the farm paired with more lessons from Mike or a tasting of wine or olive oil.

Great time!

Me and my daughter had so much fun. My daughter loves cooking, so this class was perfect for her. We both learned a lot. Our instructor was really sweet and helped us take pictures. We got a tour of the farm and got to feed the goats and donkey.

Amazing authentic local experience

Paula_W, Jul 2025
Mike and the experience with the Farmhouse Bakery cooking was one of the best we've experienced. Local chef Mike was phenomenal and the farm was so amazing and a reminder of the power of simple living. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Fantastic experience!!!

Baking bread, pizza and family farm fun

Laura_O, Jun 2025
This is a very cool, picturesque farmette (20 min drive from the cruise port) built to encourage various farm experiences. We did the bread baking but Ohhh, it's MORE than just bread. We start with two "bowls" one a sweet base and the other traditional bread base. Mix and knead by hand under Chef Mike's supervision. His English "not so good" so he says but his humor is hysterical!! He is definitely proud to host this side of the experience along with other staff. Once the loaves are resting, we have a tour of the farm and greet the animals. Donkeys, a cow, goats and sheep, chickens and soon a piggy. We learn they offer stomping the grapes in the fall harvest, a small restaurant, eventually other little experiences to take advantage of all seasons and times of the day. Back to the bread... The loaves are divided... We end up making two apple pies, a cheese pizza and meat calzone, 3 loaves of bread and 10 dinner rolls. WOW! All served with a fresh Greek salad and wine. Served in a private covered courtyard for us to enjoy. A perfect day trip with time to walk around Mykonos town after before heading back to the cruise ship. I so hope to experience this again!!

An eventful brunch on Mykonos

Vicki_S, Jun 2025
This was a lovely, fun, relaxing, and tasty experience. A driver picked us up at our ship and took us to this little hobby farm. We made three different breads and pizza that was out of this world in a wood burning outdoor stove. While the bread was rising we took a tour of the grapes and garden and visited the animals. We then enjoyed our brunch with some nice Greek wine. The people we so welcoming and sweet. I totally suggest this tour!

Good experience

Chef Big Mike was awesome. Was a nice group, made new friends. Class was great. It did look like there was alot of flies on the donkeys in the farm though. Hope they are okay.

This experience will definitely be a highlight of my group's trip to Greece! The farm is a peaceful spot, Mike was a wonderful host and teacher, and the breads we made were delicious!

Our Favorite Place on Mykonos

Marc_W, Sep 2024
This was by far our favorite thing we did on the island over three days. Mike, the cook and Michael our host were absolutely amazing. We were with a small group to do the cooking class and the food was absolutely delicious as was the wine. Meeting the animals on the farm and learning all the things about how it was built was great. We laughed so much and made new friends.

Great Greek experience with welcoming people.

CECILE_W, Aug 2024
Mike, our master baker, was an excellent teacher. He knew enough English to help us along and we made a variety of breads, a dessert, and a pizza all baked in an old stone outdoor oven. You really felt like a Greek family member was passing down old recipes! Michael gave us a fun tour of the farm and we got to spend time feeding the animals. He genuinely loved working on the farm! Jude also provided us transportation to and from the farm. This was a great activity if you want to immerse in the Greek culture with a charming baker named Mike. Do not hesitate to book this tour.

Highlight of our trip - Mike (chef) was amazing - the bomb!

David_B, Aug 2024
One of the highlights of our trip to the Mediterranean. The chef, Mike, was one of the warmest, welcoming people I have ever met. Although we communicated quite a bit through Google Translate, we had a wonderful conversation with him waiting for our bread to rise and brunch to begin. After feeling smothered during our visit to Santorini, this trip on Mykonos is exactly what we needed! Don’t miss this.

Experience Mykonian tradition in an unforgettable way!

Philip_C, Jul 2024
This excursion offers an unparalleled opportunity to delve into the heart of Mykonian culture through a hands-on experience at a local Melkonian farm. Upon arrival at the cruise port, we were warmly greeted by a driver to bring us to the farm. At the farm, the hospitable farm owners were eager to share their traditions. The highlight of the day is the bakery class where you learn the ancient art of breadmaking using traditional techniques. Under expert guidance, you knead and shape dough, discovering the secrets behind authentic Greek bread. The farm itself is a picturesque setting where organic farming practices are not just a trend but a way of life. You'll have the chance to explore the grounds, witnessing firsthand the sustainable methods used in cultivating fresh produce. This immersion into traditional farming offers a unique perspective on the interconnectedness between food, culture, and the environment. After your baking endeavors, we indulged in a delightful brunch featuring freshly baked bread and a variety of homemade Greek treats. Throughout the experience, the warmth and friendliness of the farm owners shine through, making you feel like a welcomed guest in their home. They generously share stories about their way of life, offering insights into Greek culture that you won't find in guidebooks. Whether you're a culinary enthusiast, a cultural explorer, or simply someone seeking a meaningful travel experience, the Mykonian Farm and Bakery Class with Brunch promises to leave a lasting impression. It's a perfect blend of education, delicious food, and heartfelt hospitality that embodies the true spirit of Greece. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with the roots of Mykonian tradition in an unforgettable way!

A wonderful experience with good food and people

Jordan_M, Jun 2024
We were picked directly outside our cruise ship and brought to the farm. It was a very nice small farm, with friendly staff and beautiful views. Then we met the chef who showed us how to make dough for bread and pizza. While the dough was rising, we were treated to coffee and a tour of the farm. There were dogs, cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, and very beautiful views. Once our tour was finished, we were able to enjoy what we made! The food was delicious- greek salad, spanikopita, tomato&feta pizza (that we made!), and a really delicious tzatiki dip. I definitely recommend this tour for a smaller, quiet, exursion and a more immersive experience in the Greek culture. We even saw a few busses from our Cruise ship go to the farm, but our group was only 8 people, and we got to sit in a private area, away from the large tour buses. This is a great tour for families, couples, adults, and even smaller children.

Fantastic authentic experience

Carrie_M, Jun 2024
Magic Mike was so friendly and a great baker! We learned a lot and felt it was a very authentic Greek experience. Highly recommend :)

Exceptional!

David_O, Jun 2024
Such gracious hosts. Fun for all. The food we cooked was great. Bottomless wine. They are obviously passionate about their farm.

Waste of time and money

Carina_F, Jun 2024
A lot of sitting around doing nothing. Making bread took 15 min, the chef, Mike was fun and nice but for the price it wasn’t worth it. “We” (15 people) gathered around a tiny table to mix a couple ingredients, then walked for 10 minutes around the small farm, and for the next 3 hours, we did nothing else.

Farm experience

Jodi_R, Jun 2024
I booked this experience with my kids, who are all young adults. Our host Mike was gracious, funny and attentive as he guided us through the baking process. A tour of the farm with access to all the animals was a highlight for my animal-loving kids. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing. It was a nice change to get out of the urban areas we had been visiting.

Deliciousness

Donna, May 2024
The dancing chef and his smile all the time! The organic and environmental counciousness is admirable.

Wonderful experience with friendly guide

Clinton_S, Nov 2023
The tour was well organized from top to bottom. We were on a cruise and they picked us up from the port. The driver was very friendly. The farm is a fifteen minute drive from the port not including picking up other participants. Once we were there, both the guide and the cook were very friendly. Because we were in the off-season it was just us and one other couple which meant a lot of opportunities to participate. The farm was beautiful and the meal we made was wonderful. I can’t recommend this tour enough for anyone looking to do something a little different on their visit to Mykonos

Mikey likes clickey clickey.

Linda_S, Sep 2023
Went for my birthday with my cousin. It was a very breezy day but the surroundings protected us getting a flour shower. The host sat with us over donuts and Greek coffee. Very charming and interesting. Mikey, our baker, speaks very little English, but was able to clearly communicate each step with pantomimes, examples, and sheer will of force. We made three items, and then sat in the shade to eat them. Generous carafes of wine were presented.

Do not miss this experience!

Pam_M, Sep 2023
Absolutely the best experience!!! Charming sustainable farm with an outstanding host, guide and Chef!!! A lovely farm with livestock, grape vines and wine, fresh veggies, fantastic food and Chef Mike! This was a fantastic experience and the most delicious food and new friends!

Yum!

Angela_R, Sep 2023
We really enjoyed our afternoon at the Mykonian Farm and Bakery Class. We chatted with our host and guests, toured the farm, met the animals up close and personal and loved seeing how a traditional Greek meal including homemade bread came together for us to enjoy.
