Emilio was a great tour guide. It was informative and the travel time was as expected. I think my biggest issue is that some people did not realize there will be some walking and there were a few people who were struggling with the stairs in the cave. It made the tour feel a bit uneasy because I felt inclined to watch certain people that were at a higher risk of falling. I feel like they need to reiterate that the cave has tight spots and some slippery stairs. Otherwise, it was enjoyable.

This was another fantastic tour, and once again, Emilio was an outstanding guide! He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Our van driver was also excellent—safe, friendly, and professional.
A word of warning: this tour is not for anyone trying to avoid a gym membership! 😂 The 2-kilometer walk and 750 steps inside the caves are no joke, but they're absolutely worth it. The cave formations are breathtaking, and the cable car ride offers spectacular views.
My only recommendation is to provide complimentary cold bottled water, especially on tours with this much walking in the summer heat. Having water available in the van would make a huge difference.
One small downside is that if you've already taken the Monterrey Night Tour, you'll revisit the Bishop's Viewpoint. We were dropped off at the mall instead, so it would have been nice to have an alternative stop included.
Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this tour—especially if you're lucky enough to have Emilio as your guide!

The tour of the caves of Garcia and the views of the city was an excellent experience! The views of the mountains and the interesting facts from our tour guide Emilio made the drive enjoyable. The caves were amazing - from the formations to the features made the walk interesting. There were some stairs and slippery parts of the walk so come prepared with good walking shoes.
Our last stop at the park with the big flag was the BEST view of the city of Monterrey!! The view from downtown to the surrounding cities with the mountains gave a good perspective of the lives of the people of Monterrey.
We really enjoyed the tour. We would definitely recommend it.

Outstanding tour and sights giving a clear overview of MTY. Cable car is an easy ride up the mountain. Observation deck perfect for pictures. Informative guide summarized very well the Monterrey area, business and things to do and where to eat. Cave tour was amazing. Our guide supplemented the cave guide with many additional facts. 750 steps were easy as there are many rooms where you can stop and even sit. The big Mexico flag was the perfect spot to see how big and still growing MTY is, spot the sites where we can go another time, see the train lines, airport, housing and different districts. Guide was super knowledgeable. Very clean car and good driving.

Great tour, they had the option to pick up/ drop off from your hotel which was very convenient. They also offered to drop you off anywhere on the route if you preferred. Breakfast was delicious at a local taco restaurant and a nice touch before starting the day at the caves. Caves were nice, lots of steps to climb but mostly an easy walk. Finished with the view from the large Mexican flag overseeing the city. Loved the tour overall. Samantha was the guide and Oberlin the driver, both did a great job!

This is a really interesting tour of the Grutas de García (the Garcia Caves). It is truly one of the most amazing natural wonders we have seen. The caves were mesmerizing - you can feel how old they are and yet how they are still alive and growing (as minerals continue to build). The caves are also surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery. It was like a meditation in physical form. We followed the tour with a great lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Garcia. Our guide, Francisco, was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He has great enthusiasm for the caves and that translates into a wonderful tour. He loves Monterrey and is a great ambassador for the city. Francisco was also quick to offer any assistance we required during our stay in Monterrey. This is a great tour that we would highly recommend.

We had a private guide and traveled about an hour from Monterrey to
Grutas de García. The telerifico was very safe and the caves were really beautiful. You should be prepared to go up and down a lot of stairs (my watch said 8 flights) but it wasn't overtaxing. After the tour we went to the nearby town of Garcia. We visited a historical bakery. Bring pesos to buy a treat! I wish we could have stayed for lunch at a local restaurant but it wasn't included in the tour. If I had know ahead, I would have combined this with the Horsetail Falls tour at the other end of the valley for a full day. This is an excellent day trip to get close to nature and the mountains. Our guide was fluent in English and answered all of our questions.

This tour was okay. The description is definitely misleading. It is a very steep hike up and then back down the mountain. We weren't aware of the hike when we were on the way until our guide had told us. My friend and I told him we didn't feel comfortable doing the hike because she had a prior ankle injury. There was an alternative option where the hike wasn't required. We were pressured by our guide into the hike and said we could take our time. He told us it would be worth it. While the caves were beautiful, I'm not sure the pain after was worth it. Very irresponsible guide. We probably could have persisted more strongly, but it is also his job to listen.
