For safety reasons, jet ski operations are paused when weather conditions, such as high winds, make it unsafe to go out. In these cases, bookings are fully refunded. According to our records, your reservation was canceled due to weather and a full refund was issued. We understand how disappointing this can be, especially when communication doesn’t meet expectations, and we’ll work on improving this. Absolutely terrible. Booked through Viator and showed up at the designated location at the specified time and had to call the operator finally when the rental was supposed to start because no one was there. They asked to reschedule it for 1.5 hours later, which wouldn’t work for us. Then asked to call back in 5 min because they were clearly trying to scramble to provide the jet skis. Then called back and they asked us to walk to a different location about 10 min away. We waited there for almost 39 min and they still didn’t show. I texted the operator and asked for a refund as we were already 45 min into a 2 hour rental and we’d either have to cut it short or miss the next paid event we had scheduled that day. They said there wouldn’t be a refund ((of almost $400 that I had already paid) because it was a last min cancelation. I’ve taken it up with Viator and hopefully they will issue the refund (they haven’t yet).
